Welcome to The Bungalow, a comfortable 1-bedroom retreat in the Dam Site Historic District. This calm, inviting space blends soft desert colors, simple furnishings, and plenty of natural light. The private bedroom includes a queen bed with fresh linens, while the living area offers an additional bed, giving guests extra sleeping space without feeling crowded.
The casita features a small kitchenette with a sink, mini-fridge, microwave, coffee maker, and single-burner cooktop-perfect for quick meals or morning coffee around the dining table. A smart TV and reliable Wi-Fi make it easy to relax after a day on the water. The bathroom is clean and simple with a standard shower, and the casita stays comfortable year-round with heating and air conditioning.
Step outside to enjoy the quiet surroundings and take in the lake and desert views. You're only steps from the Dam Site Marina, where guests can rent kayaks and stand-up paddle boards. Pontoon boats are available 2.5 miles north at our sister marina, Marina Del Sur. It's one of the few spots in the area where you can stay close to the water and get out on the lake without hauling gear or driving across town.
With easy access to the shoreline, walking areas, and boat ramps, this casita is a convenient home base for lake trips, fishing weekends, or a peaceful getaway in southern New Mexico's desert landscape.
