Okoboji Luv

The location of the cabin to resort amenities could not be beaten. After reading previous reviews, we remedied the storage and counter space by bringing our own 6’ table. Would have liked a Keurig for coffee in the morning. Sunsets were beautiful from the deck. With family there, some outdoor games would have been nice. It was a five star stay.

Perfect location and accommodations. Was able to get in a bit early which was great. Only issue were the towels under bathrooms sinks were damp/musty. Think they were put away too wet, other than that place was great

Great stay

We had a great stay! House was clean and pretty. Not much kitchen food storage though when you have ten people staying. Big windows are beautiful but very bright with no window coverings. Beds were very comfortable too. We all enjoyed our stay!

Awesome house

Perfect house for our stay. We did decide to cook/eat there most meals. Kitchen didn’t have everything we needed, but we made due with what we had and can opener didn’t work, so we bought one. But really otherwise, it was great. View of the lake. Close to the water park. Very comfortable.

Great house!

My friends and I took our kids to Okoboji. This house was great for families with kids. It is close to Bridges Bay and within walking distance to a few restaurants. The only suggestion for the property would be to get blinds for the windows in the living space. It gets hot and bright in the afternoon. Overall it was a great experience.

Family vacation

The house was just as listed although we did have a couple of issues while staying there. The first is the only place to store food is the refrigerator. The large pantry and hall closet off the kitchen are locked along with the downstairs closets and half the garage. Seems like a lot of locked space and no where for guests to store anything. With a family of 10, all our food had to sit out on the counters that didn't fit in the fridge. Our largest issue was the lack of curtains in the living/dining room. The couch area and kitchen table were basically unusable from 5 to 9 when the sun came in the west facing glass wall. It was almost blinding unless you sat with your back to the window. We had to rearrange couches just so we could sit there and could only use half the kitchen table that didn't face the window. As someone who suffers migraines, I struggled the entire stay. The blinding glare off the tv and glass top kitchen table caused constant headaches. Also no one could watch tv until the sun set because of the glare. Please think about adding blinds so they can be shut if/when needed. Overall the house was great but would have been nice to be able to use the living space before the sun set.

Okoboji family vacation

We got lucky to find such a nice place that was available at short notice before a holiday weekend. Large size rooms, plenty of space for everyone. We were hoping some friends and their daughter could have joined us and our twins. They were unable to, so we had lots of space to spread out and enjoy in this rental. So much to do in Okoboji and Arnold's Park. There was never a dull moment. This was just what we needed before the kids head back to school.

Beautiful home. Lots of supplies; cooking utensils, garbage bags, etc included. Great location. Easy access to Bridges Bay boat/trailer storage across the road. Nice boat ramp down the street.

Clean, modern, spacious!

We enjoyed our first family trip to Okoboji and Bridge's Bay is a great location. Pro's: beautiful condo, clean, ample space, great kitchen, great view of the lake for sunsets Con's: I would come back if I could bring my dogs because other than that it was perfect for us. And, just a nit pick because it's an overall wonderful property -- but the communication from the booking service was minimal and curt/unfriendly. Lots of ALL CAPS and DON'T DO THIS things and literally nothing welcoming (no recommendations, no thanks for your business, hope you have a good time...) While I am sure it is hard to be an owner and that all these admonishments come from some previous bad renter experiences, it felt like my family was not welcome at all. I hope we left things in good condition so that better experience on their end can help them to feel better about allowing guests to use their space :) We did our best!

Weekend stay for graduation

This property was perfect for our quick weekend trip. The house was beautiful and clean. There was plenty of room for my sister and my families of 9. We had 4 children 10-14 years old who enjoyed the water park and various board games provided. The kitchen was well stocked for eating in. We would certainly recommend staying here!

Bridges Bay July 2021

The property advertises the pool and water park. These were not available during our stay in July. They did not have adequate life guards and closed the pool and water park. This was one of the attractive parts of this property, but was advertised but not available. The house had a pantry, but this was locked for the owners use only. We had to put any groceries/supplies either in the refrigerator or on the counters. The kitched had no wash cloths.

Family trip

The property was very nice! It was close to everything we wanted to do. We would have enjoyed it more if the water park at Bridges Bay had been open normal. We did discover that there was no can opener or broom. It also would have been nice to have more garbage bags, paper towels and toilet paper. We would definitely enjoy a return trip!
