This house was perfect in every way! Beds were comfortable and each room had its own decor making it very inviting. The living spaces made it easy to hangout, watch TV, read and relax. We enjoyed playing corn hole on the back deck. The ocean view was amazing! We will be returning to this in our next visit to Rockaway!

Large home with plenty of room for the family. Plenty of parking. Showers were a bit tricky for elderly family members, no grab bars and they were slippery on the bottom. Unique family home with lots of knickknacks to admire. Easy beach access was close. Loved the views.

We have had many VRBO stays. This home made me smile as it had history of the owners family sharing love, time and experiences together. However the home could use a big cleaning. When we arrived ai cleaned the coffee maker in order to use it during our stay. I was surprised that there wasn’t any coffee grounds to use. other locations always had basic necessities such as coffee, paper plates, napkins etc. I did purchase coffee and left the remaining in the cabinet for others to at least have for a first morning. The other issue was the wifi and ability for our family to have ability to watch the television. It was a barrier not being able to access the internet through the location. It appears the host did not check the system prior to our arrival to ensure this was working. I appreciate that this was pet friendly, however as this is a larger home would appreciate the ability to have more than two dogs allowed. I have grown children all with pets and would love for all of us to stay together with their fur children. I do have to say it had a wonderful location and view of the ocean. Thank you for our stay.

This was an awesome house. CLEAN house, COMFORTABLE beds and GREAT VIEWS of ocean out the front and balcony AND view of lake from the back deck. Very short walk to the beach (with stair access!), as well as stores, shops, sight-seeing train station, farmers market, pronto pup, "The Big Cedar," all within 1 mile. Great open kitchen to living room and dining area, 3 full baths, extra fridge in garage, sand toys, board games, spacious parking, good kitchen supplies, even a ramp entry to main floor with flat bed cart for easy unloading from our cars, the house keeping service brought a full propane for the grill, and a second for backup.The single bed hide-a-bed was not comfortable, but the 4 couches were. Lots of lounging, fresh air, and family time. My 3 generations of family had NO COMPLAINTS about the house! That's one for the history books.

We just had a 4 night stay in Rockaway beach, an annual trip for us. We rented this house with 2 other family’s. The Location and layout of house was wonderful and allowed space for all of us. The kids had a place to hang away from the adults.As for the cleanliness and preparedness for guests I have to give it zero stars. I would strongly suggest the owners refresh the pillows and sheets as they are very dirty. We made a trip to the store to buy laundry detergent, dish soap, and garbage bags as these were not provided and necessary to feel like we were sleeping in clean sheets.The house needs a deep clean for sure. We had small kiddos with us who had dirty legs from crawling on the floors and found dust bunnies and food items on the floors.Overall, minus the condition of the house, the location of the house is great! I did speak with the management company who responded quickly to our concerns. She was great, and attempted to remedy our complaint's. A great trip with the downside of not feeling comfortable in a clean and prepared rental space.

Very nice, well appointed property. Plenty of room for our family to spread out and also areas to get together and play games [killer UNO battles]. Only complaint [or quibble] was the upstairs hide-a-bed was a love seat single bed. Not ocean front but not a bad view.

Thanksgiving Family Gathering

We had a wonderful time at this property. Only a few minutes to the beach. Lots of hikes and outdoor activities within driving distance. We really appreciated the spaciousness of the house. We had 7 adults and 3 kids under 5 and it felt just right. Would love to come again.
