The Space:

Freshly remodeled and boasting a location that puts you just a short walk from local attractions and the beach, up to five guests will enjoy being surrounded by relaxation and possibilities for fun.



This condo is on the very south end of town, in the Taft District. It's just a short stroll down the road from the serene beach, as well as Pelican Brewery, The Pines Dine food truck park, Mo's, and amazing shopping, art studios, and grocery store. With the peace of the beach at your fingertips, and other attractions including Devils Lake, Chinook Winds Casino, and the outlet mall within a quick drive away, relaxation and fun will be around every corner.



Kick off the sand from your leisurely seaside stroll and connect to the free WiFi to lay some gentle background music. The custom USB plugs in the kitchen and bedroom will keep you charged while you get dinner ready. The private washer/dryer will take care of the laundry while you cuddle up next to the gas fireplace and watch a DVD, cable, or log in to your personal Netflix account to find the perfect show. Great place to stay

Great apartment, even better location. Easy access to the beach. Walkable to moe’s and The Pines (food trucks). Fully equipped kitchen, lots of towels and extra bedding. Ample seating in living room and dining area. Lots of parking! My family especially appreciated having a washer and dryer in the unit. One review mentioned an ant problem, but we kept up with our kitchen messes and we didn’t leave food out, so we had very little issues with any ants.

Lovely get away stay with water view and fireplace

The place was wonderful and very clean. The only drawback was the stove ugh!!!!!. It took 30 minutes to preheat and it made a clanging noise throughout 90% of the cooking process. It was really loud and annoying. The amount of money asked for these places we didn't expect to deal with cooking and the stove being so loud we couldn't hear the television. I hope they replace it soon. Other than that it offered a nice place. I was disappointed on such an early checkout during the winter and our trip ended the day after the ice storm.

The property and setting is better than advertised. Quiet and a third level corner space brought fantastic views into play. This is an update well thought out and decorated space. Felt safe and secure with a peaceful nights rest ready for the next day.

A relaxing place to stay at the beach

We were pleasantly surprised by the thoughtfulness of the host; they went above and beyond with board games, extra pillows and towels, a plethora of spices, and a notebook to write notes. The decor was tasteful and homey, which really did feel like a home away from home! After we moved a few beautiful, breakable pieces of decor, it was a great place for our family of 4 to relax and enjoy time together. The dishwasher and washer and dryer were really nice amenities to have. The walk to a rather private beach area was perfect, and the area is great for small children wanting to wade in the water. We will definitely be booking at Mermaid Cove in the future.

Besides not being told of two repairmen coming to our unit and they just let themselves in, it was a fantastic stay! This place is beautiful with amazing views. We all felt right at home! Will definitely return!
