Good overall. Floors felt really dirty & bathroom sink was clogged. Great location to walk for food etc
 the owner needs to work on better communication overall. I would stay again.

Simple pleasures

We stayed here for our 9th anniversary/baby moon and it was the perfect simple getaway. I enjoyed ocean front coffee on the wrap around porch and my husband loved being steps from the beach where he caught several albacore tuna at sunrise. Recommend packing light to maximize space. Only other feedback is the bed mattress is a little firm. Wonderful trip overall can’t wait to go back!!

Great access to a beautiful beach

Location was great being right on the beach. It's a little small but works for 2 people, any more occupants would be really cramped. If you are a large person it would be difficult getting in and out of the bed! Has everything you need. We did bring our own beach chairs and towels. Having direct access to the beach is what made the stay nice pool, even though we didn't use it.

Great Condo

My boyfriend and I stayed here for our first time down in Atlantic Beach. It was a great location, close to the beach while being close to things to do and the grocery store. The condo was as pictured, and a nice place to stay for a couple looking to get away for a while. The actual condominium was quiet, which made for a relaxing vacation.

Horrible mildew odor. Could not stay here. Took several hours to find another place. Furniture was old and worn out. No phone listed. Impossible to communicate with. Wasn't how my trip was supposed to start. I deserve my money back and to speak to an actual person that can make it happen.

Nice Area

The area is very nice. The beach was not crowded at all ( you have to cross through the private property to get to this section of beach, That probably helps ) The size of the room is perfect for a couple with maybe even one or two children. The unit was a little dirtier than expected, There was actual trash under the bed. I reached out to the owner and was told, he would let the cleaning staff know. All and all, nice little place.

Property is conveniently located, has two beach accesses and a swimming pool. Owner was very responsive to messages and accommodated a last minute change when I broke my shoulder and couldn’t make the original reservation dates. We are repeat customers and plan to reserve the property again for next year!

Lovely Studio at the Beach

Adorable studio condo! It's very bright and welcoming and was perfect for a week at the beach for my daughter and me. This is a corner unit with the front door and front window overlooking the parking lot and main road, and the side window overlooking the stairs. We rarely had the blinds open because of this but it was still light and airy inside even with them closed. There's a bench just around the corner overlooking the pool where we sat every morning with our breakfast and coffee. The kitchen had everything we needed for us to cook our meals all week, although you'll want to make sure you bring some basics like trash bags, toilet paper, soap and a sponge for the kitchen sink, and maybe your own can opener...one is provided and it worked but gave me a little trouble. There's a toaster, coffee pot with plenty of filters provided, full size refrigerator, microwave. Plenty of extra blankets, sheets for the bed and pullout couch. Bring your own beach towels. There were a couple of minor issues when we arrived. I contacted the owner and got a phone call from the cleaning company within a few hours, and they went above and beyond to resolve the issues quickly and really did much more than they needed to make sure our stay was amazing. I was very impressed with the way the owner and cleaning company responded so quickly and thoroughly. This is a lovely little place and I highly recommend it if you're thinking about a getaway in Atlantic Beach.

The unit was very clean and nice. The only problem that was had VRBO paperwork sent had wrong information on the lock box and unit. Thankfully it was correct on my phone.

For what it costs, pretty happy with it. Close to beach, close to dollar store, pool rarely has anyone in it. Downside, the bed is horrible. The springs are all different levels of worn out, which makes me think it's either 15 years old, used, or rusted, in any case, sleep on the pill out couch, much better. The shower could also user a detachable head for removing sand. Also, a door, or at least a curtain between the main area and the bed area would do wonders. In any case, satisfied, but some very low hanging fruit to make the stay better.

Tiny but perfect for what we wanted.

The location was close to the wedding venue we were attending, thats why I booked it. We also wanted something on the beach which was so nice for those morning walks. The pool was nice and very clean and the furniture was in really good condition. No shade around the pool so beaware. The alcove where the bed is located is very tight and you had to crawl in from the foot side. It was not a problem for us but again beaware. I was surprised how much storage the condo had and my husband and I did not feel like we were on top of each other and we are in our 70's.

As advertised

Property was small, but exactly as listed. Quiet area and short walk to beach. If you plan on sleeping on sleeper sofa, bring a sleep mask. Blinds block a decent amount of the light from security lights outside, but some amount of light still makes it in. Was a nice little visit during my daughters college break.

Mom/Daughter Getaway!

This condo was well appointed, with a kitchen that had everything we needed to cook a couple of great seafood meals. Bed and sofa were comfortable. I especially liked the custom made shelves to store items. Walk to the beach was a short one! Best memory-getting up at 6 AM to watch the sunrise! We enjoyed our time here!

It was small but cozy. Perfect for us on our anniversary. The beach is literally a few steps away and the place was quiet and relaxing. Great places to eat near by, and the NC Aquarium was nice on the one rainy day we had. The place was clean when we arrived although it had a but of a musty smell. Not sure much could be done about that, so we just used some air freshener whenever we came back in. It was affordable and the beach was fantastic. Overall, we would stay here again.

Cleaniness

The property was dirty and had mold on the shower curtains. I understand that the property is on the cheaper side and it's not going to be the four seasons in Dubai but something can be affordable and clean at the same time. The couch needs to be replaced as well. Overall pretty gross place that we left early from. We bought shower curtains at walmart at our stay and moped when we got there because it was dirty. First disappointing VRBO experience.
