Les installations du complexe Storey Lake comprennent: un club-house ultramoderne situé en face d'une rivière tranquille, comprenant un centre d'affaires, une cuisine, un centre de remise en forme et un spa. Oasis of comfort

Sweet place to rest and recoup from busy days at Orlando’s many attractions. We felt safe and secure. Easy access to all the routs to all the places we wanted to see. Highly recommend.

Recently stayed on this property. Pros - location, pricing, pool/water park, communication via email was quick with response. Cons - cleanliness, one of our bathrooms had mushrooms growing in the corner of the room. Not sure how the cleaners would miss that. Fridge water filter shows need replacement over 30 days. I contacted wonder homes and tbey said the filter wasn't wouldnt be any in stock

GreAt location and lots of space

This spot is a great location for the Orange County convention center. When traffic was heaviest it was a 30 minute drive. Fastest was 15. Lots of space!

Everything we thought it would be

The stay was amazing. Very clean and comfy. Its nothing to complain about but i would like to suggest a bigger dish detergent and more than one role of toilet tissue to be provided. We went to store to get our own but overall it was awesome

Orlando March Break

Overall location was great, Lazy River not as big as I had pictured. We were so busy with parks that we didn't even get a chance to use it. Our in-laws were with us so was nice to have king with bathroom on first floor and suite upstairs with a bathroom in the suite. Bring your own ash cloths and kitchen dish cloth. Place was clean, instructions easy to follow in regards to check in. I would stay again.

Trip Cancelled due to Coronavirus outbreak

We did not stay on the property due to the Coronavirus outbreak. The event that we were scheduled to participate in-was forced to cancel suddenly to protect all travelers involved. I Gave 5 stars on each category because the experience up until the cancellation was 5 star worthy. I can write a more realistic review once we return.

Bedbugs

We found bedbugs in downstairs bedroom. Property manager was unconcerned at most and would not return messages. Plastic liners were already on the bed so we assume they knew about the problem prior to our stay. This problem should be addressed before anyone else stays here. Horrible customer service. Do not recommend!!

Nice house

Everything about the property and location was great. I was not expecting so many emails after booking and I started to ignore them and did not realize I needed to send a copy of my credit cards and selfie and my ID to property management to get my door code and found myself after hours not able to get in. During our stay and at check out and after our stay we received more emails. I had a total of 25 emails from property management. It was excessive. But yet NO ONE told me about the repair guy who would be outside my door during my stay to fix the locks...very uncomfortable.

Family vacation

Our stay at storey lakes resort was perfect for our family vacation. The house was a nice size, had scratches/ scuffs on the walls show its a rental. It was missing a few things (spatula, oven mit, and frying was very bent difficult to use) but we made it work. Communication with host is done with another website not vrbo. After our stay we were charged for some stianed towels, one of which we had to use as an oven mit. Would be nice to have a few dry good in the house upon arrival or a location to leave them for the next guests. We gave away our left over food (coffee, sugar, bottle water, pop ect) to the people staying next door. We stayed mid February and the pool at the house was freezing only used one day, would consider paying to heat it if you planned on using it often. The hide away club was great! Very busy and could be difficult to find a spot to sit but the kids and adults loved it. The 2 waterslides were great. We didn't purchase any food there but did get some buckets of beer/ ciders which was nice. The location was perfect. Close to Disney parks and legoland. Multiple restaurants and stores close by.

don't rent

owner was not helpful, he would always say talk to wonder vacation. Wonder vacation tried to take my money early because of a mistake they made in the contract. argued with them for a week, and until I told them to cancel and wanted all my money back, did they straightened it out. Place not very clean. Outside furniture was trashed, took 3 weeks to get more. Not very nice furniture either. Tried to sweep the carpets, sweeper broken, took 5 days to get different one. It was apparent that it had been broken for a long time, because we had to empty it twice before done sweeping. pots and pans warped. I'm sure the response they will give is how well they clean and check everything (not) Storey Lake use to be a great place, but since our last visit they have built over a 1000 new homes. If you want to go to the pool be there by 9. Not much fun anymore, you can hardly move in the pool and lazy river. So BEWARE of Wonder Vacation and owner Bruno

Great place to stay!

We stayed here for 3 weeks so we got to enjoy all of the good, bad, and ugly of the property. Fortunately, there wasn't a lot of a bad or ugly to be had. We had minor inconveniences, mostly related to staying a very long time and not enough supplies to last in the place. The baseboards and walls were dirtier than we would typically like a house and could use some good cleaning, but overall it was very clean. The kitchen wasn't as well stocked as we thought it would be (missing a spatula, low on spoons), but after purchasing some things for the rental we really had a great time there, even with 12 people staying there. We took the spatula though (apparently we're that kind of people), but we left the crockpot and spoons, so hopefully someone appreciates that. We also couldn't order a cleaning service due to covid, so we had to buy a few cleaning supplies as well in the middle of our stay. Most pleasant surprise: the beds and pillows were really fantastic, much, much better than we've had in a rental ever before. And we definitely would know if they weren't great since we stayed so long. Second pleasant surprise: the pool was small (as we knew it would be), but it was awesome to have it in the back and it was completely blocked off from kids unless someone older unlocked it, which was essential for friends with a baby, so that was a big plus. Third surprise: the showers are extremely powerful. Great to get sand out of hair, not great for the hot water supply. Overall though, I would recommend this place, and would stay there again.

Great location, missing amenities

The location was great, the property was beautiful and clean. Plenty of dishes, mugs and glasses provided. The couch was compfy, we watched several movies during our time there and had ample seating. We really enjoyed the pool at the home because the neighborhood pool was way too busy to use. Neighbors were loud, but no fault of the facility. Food at the Hideaway Club was way overpriced for want it was, no fault of the homeowner, we understand. The issues we had with the home was: no washcloths provided, only 1 kitchen towel, no oven mitts, no larger pans for cooking, baseboards and corners were dusty, no lounge chairs at the pool area. If you are going to provide towels that people reuse it seems that washcloths would be provided as well. There were bright neon stickers everywhere throughout the home saying don't do this, don't do that, or you will be charged! Not welcoming at all. For example: don't turn the air below 72 or you'll be charged, don't clog the toilet or you'll be charged, don't mess up the towels or you'll be charged... and that one had prices of what you would be charged for each sized towel. I am a little OCD and stickers where they shouldn't be are a major issue, so it bothered me the whole time we were there. I try to be understanding and perhaps the homeowners association requires these stickers for homeowners who rent out. It would have been much better to simply have a single posting some where in the entrance of the home stating what all of the stickers said. It took away from the ambiance of the home. All in all, the home was beautiful and we enjoyed our trip even-though we had to go purchase the amenities we didn't have.

We understand and totally agree that the stickers around the home takes away the beauty of the home, but we have had some sour experiences in the past, which has made us put reminders throughout the home in every place you can think of. We only provide one kitchen towel and initial paper products and this is mentioned in the house rules and rental agreement. We will adhere to your suggestions of adding the missing oven mitts, large pans and other things mentioned in your feedback, by telling this to the owner. Overall a great stay

Everything was very close, all the stores and Disney World were easy to get to. Beautiful property with lots of amenities. Wish we were there longer! There were minor things we didn't give 5 points for but we would stay there again.

Overall pleasant, but photos were a bit misleading.

The location was good. Communication was easy and efficient with property owner. Upon arrival, our towels were still damp and cleaning seemed to be very surface level at best. Overall no major concerns.

Spacious condo

Clean, modern condo. We had 3 adults and 3 teenagers and felt like we had lots of room to spread out. It was a fast, easy drive to Universal Studios. The owners were prompt and responsive to any questions. Would definitely recommend this property and stay there again.
