There was absolutely no wash rags within the cabin, which is very strange! No rags to wash off with, first night we had to use hand towels. The lighting in the cabin was extremely poor! Majority of the lights didn’t work, including down stairs vanity light, kitchen main light, two bulbs out in upstairs bathroom. Was unable to use the upstairs bath tub because there is absolutely no water pressure & no hot water that would reach all the way up. Trash cans were already haft full outside when we arrived, assuming from previous guest. Therefore we had to leave trash in the kitchen which the owners require double bagging of and you have to send an email if there is any left within the kitchen so they can let the cleaning peeps know. There was outside furniture on all decks. Only two charts on the top deck had cushions, non of the furniture on the bottom had cushions at all. Which was very upsetting because our family absolutely loves to set on the deck and watch the sunrise while drinking coffee. That was very uncomfortable and unenjoyable. We had extra guests arriving Saturday, I emailed twice to inform the booking agency/owner, also sent a message through the booking app, also let the guard shack know ahead of time. There was absolutely no communication with this from the owner/booking person to the guard shack. Which is ridiculous because we went above and beyond to be sure everyone was aware. I received a not so pleasant phone call with the guard shack early Saturday morning!

The cabin was very nice and well set up. Plenty of cooking products and a pressure cooker which was nice. The wifi was great too. Just a few small issues that we had issues with were apon arrival the gate did not have our reservation so we had to drive back a few miles to receive reception to reach out to the property manager. He was very quick to get everything arranged for check in. The HVAC is confusing bc we had turned off our room ( top floor) thermostat but kept getting hot air blowing in the vents and woke up to 76 degrees. The bottom thermostat controls all 3 floors as in heat/cool. Once i turned it to cool we were fine. There were no extra trash bags or laundry supplies as stated in the welcome message. Over all great stay!

Denise, born and raised in Knoxville, has an extensive background in dance choreography, physical therapy, personal training & fitness — which shows in her energy, and passion for helping others.
Recognizing the gap in reliable, investor-focused property management, David founded a company tailored to help busy investors professionally manage their vacation rental cabins.
What started as a single investment quickly grew into a thriving property management company serving investors across the Smoky Mountains. Under his leadership, the company has grown from a single property to over 40 cabins in less than three years, offering full-service management that includes marketing, maintenance, guest communication, and owner support — all with no startup or onboarding costs.

Beyond business, David and Denise love traveling and making memories with their family across Tennessee, Texas, and Kenya. David is a lifelong soccer fan who fulfilled his dream of attending the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar, while Denise has enjoyed more than a dozen cruises. Together, they’re already planning the next adventure — the next World Cup and a long-awaited return to Japan, this time for leisure.
