The house is pleasant, very clean, in a quiet neighborhood. The backyard is nicely decorated, well-fenced and has plenty of furniture and a nice covered patio. There is a very comfortable bed in the primary bedroom, which also has its own private bathroom. The other two bedrooms look very nice as well. The living room has nice new furniture, and the kitchen has a large fridge and is well-appointed. Plenty of linens, towels, and paper products. Large driveway to park in, but shared with the home owner. Two parking spaces are for the renter. There was some significant disconnect between the Vrbo listing and the posted rules of the property management company (Skyrun.) If you are bringing pets, be sure that you understand the rules posted in the house before arrival, as they don’t mirror those listed on Vrbo. Specifically, Vrbo lists the home as “pet friendly,” with no listed max number of dogs or their size. Once in the home, the rules posted by Skyrun direct “only one dog, medium sized that can’t be left unattended in the house.” Tough to accomplish and still go to dinner or swimming! Also, Vrbo lists the that the “entire home” is what is being rented. To clarify, the home owners occupy the basement during the week. I was surprised by this, as it obviously changes the dynamic while staying. Fortunately, I met the home owners. They are very friendly, and together we worked out some flexibility pertaining to the listing discrepancies to make our stay work as we had expected.
