This was a surprisingly spacious one-bedroom apartment, and it had everything I needed for my stay. The location was great, and I Ioved the building's view of downtown. There was also plenty of nearby street parking. I loved staying here!

DO NOT STAY HERE!! 1st night we get there, we shower and the water wouldn’t drain. Those was contacted and said the plumber would be there by 9am the next morning to fix it. The plumber didn’t show until 11am. We then get dressed and go out. We return to the room around 3am the morning of May 17th and the door code wouldn’t work. We noticed a red light on the key pad as if the battery died. We reached out to the host. Called him over 30xs, sent msgs on the app and called from the app just for him to respond in the app saying he sees my msgs and to “stand by.” We were outside the place for 30 mins to an 1hr then host responded with another door code that still didn’t work. The host didn’t respond again until around 8am that morning saying someone would come to let us in the room in between 10a-11a. Check out was at 11am. We are not from LA and have no family, friends, and roamed the streets from 3a-11a in the cold until someone let us in because we had nowhere to go. Literally out with the homeless which was traumatizing. When I expressed my disappointment with how this was handled, host responded by saying, “this is too much” and he should “have never approved our stay” and arguing w/me. No apology or accountability . Then he started making accusations that it was our fault that the drain clogged and our fault the keypad died which is why we couldn’t get in the room. Now he is refusing to respond in regard to a refund. Horrible person and horrible customer service!!

This was, without question, one of the most difficult guests we have hosted. From the beginning, the guest appeared focused on finding issues with the property rather than enjoying the stay. After a refund request was declined, a series of additional complaints followed, many of which were either exaggerated, unfounded, or inconsistent with the condition of the home. Communication was confrontational, unreasonable, and unprofessional throughout the process.
We made every effort to address concerns and provide assistance, yet the guest continued to escalate matters and create unnecessary conflict. Based on our experience, we believe this guest presents a significant risk to hosts and may attempt to use complaints as leverage when expectations are not met. We would not host this guest again under any circumstances and strongly advise other hosts not to host her too.

Great location in Little Tokyo. Great food and Little Tokyo vibe within a few minutes walk. Host was one of the most responsive I've ever dealt with. I use VRBO for most of my travel. I wish we could've stayed longer. We had an amazing trip.
