A cozy 1920s brick half-duplex designed for both two- and four-legged guests (keyless entry/private driveway parking)

This inviting private 1-bedroom, 1-bath half-duplex unit offers a bright, comfortable space with a living room, dining area, and a fully equipped kitchen featuring a gas range. Guests will enjoy one fully private side of the duplex, complete with a separate entrance, dedicated parking, and a fully fenced private backyard perfect for pets to play. Visitor parking passes are available if needed for additional vehicles needing to use street parking.

Enjoy classic charm, comfortable furnishings, and plenty of natural light throughout. Nestled on a quiet residential street in a walkable neighborhood, The Washburn Retreat offers a peaceful and convenient stay.

Walking distance to the Dickies Arena, Will Rogers Memorial Center, museums, and Trinity Trails, or take a short drive to Downtown Fort Worth and the Stockyards. Perfect for couples, solo travelers, or small groups. Approximately 25 minutes from AT&T Stadium for FIFA World Cup matches.

Other things to note:
This property is a duplex. Guests have exclusive access to one private side of the home, including a separate entrance and private backyard. There are no shared indoor spaces.

The Pet fee helps offset the additional deep cleaning and sanitizing required between guests so I can maintain a clean, allergy-conscious space for everyone.

A wonderful place to stay. Our dogs were allowed with lots of treats for them. A fenced in yard. A very clean place with comfortable bed. And two blocks from Will Roger’s complex.

Everything was excellent when we arrived and the area was great for us with our dogs. Plenty of room for us to walk around and enjoy the hot days inside with room for our dogs to run around .

This was, without a doubt, the best place we’ve ever stayed! The host was so incredibly kind, thoughtful, and generous. She had thought of everything we might need, even the little things we may have forgotten, and everything was clearly labeled and organized so nicely. The home was clean, fully stocked, and very welcoming. The laundry room had anything we needed to wash or freshen up our clothes. The bed was very comfortable. And the neighborhood was quiet and felt safe. And even though it is a pet-friendly home, there wasn’t a trace of pet odor or pet hair anywhere. We were truly impressed, and if we ever return to Fort Worth, we will absolutely book this property again. Highly recommend!

Karen was fantastic and accommodated our late arrival and departure requests. Since we were delayed in arriving she left the lights on, ac on and had water and snacks waiting in case we needed that. The house has been newly renovated and she has labels throughout so you know what light switches to use and what every kitchen cabinet contained. We went to the Dickies Arena and the walk was literally less than 10 minutes walking slow and catching the light to cross. Extremely convenient for concerts so we will be back!!

For the review they asked me what stood out- the Host, amenities, or something else? All of the above.The property was rented from the previous owner who I think neglected to tell her. Starting there, I will say the Host was quick to respond and get the booking sorted out.Communication was quick , When we arrived it was clean and stocked with a lot of necessities and to boot, a washer and dryer.Personally, I like these quaint old houses, sometimes they lack heat and hot water, not in this case.It was a very nice neighborhood and is very close to Dickie's Arena. We were there for the rodeo and were able to walk. Any questions, the host responded very quickly. We are planning on returning next year,

This was a great duplex to stay in. Totally as advertised - an older home with lots of immenities. Awesome neighborhood - I felt very safe. Our host was a great communicator before, during and after our 3-night stay. It's a perfect place for attending an event at the Dickies Arena, which we did. Only walked two long blocks, and the arena was right there! My host had a fully equipped kitchen and even left treats for us upon arrival. The king bed was very comfy! Very clean and quaint. A must if you're taking your pet!

This was a great little house. It had plenty of space and the host had many extra amenities that made our stay more enjoyable. Things like snacks, drinks and ice cream in the fridge. There was a makeup table in the bedroom, which I was thrilled to see. The air conditioning worked well and there were ceiling fans in the living room and bedroom. There was a laundry room with everything you could need in it. We didn't have a pet with us, so I can't speak to that. The furniture and bed were comfortable. The location is superb. We went to the Kimbell museum, Amon Carter Museum, and the botanical gardens which were minutes away. Also found several really good restaurants within 10 minutes of the property. We were very happy with our stay and would highly recommend this property.
