We liked the cozy furniture in the living room. The windows in all the living area let in natural light, which was only too much once the temperature rose outside. The kitchen was small but well equipped. Seating outside on the enclosed patio was also very enjoyable. Both beds were comfortable and everything was clean.

The neighborhood and the pool access were ideal. The unit would be more comfortable throughout the warmer months with an AC unit installed. The mattress in the primary bedroom could be upgraded.

We also appreciate your suggestions. We understand how important comfort is, especially during the warmer months, and we’ll be evaluating the addition of an AC unit. This property was overall very nice. Appreciated all the beautiful decor and 2 bathrooms! It had everything we needed and was a good base for the Carlsbad marathon. Kitchen plates and cookware could be updated as they are peeling. The hot tub at the property was not working and dirty which was a major bummer as we booked this place to use that after the race. Overall would definitely stay here again but would like clarification that the pool amenities are in working order in advance.

Regarding the pool and hot tub: those amenities are maintained by the HOA, and we weren’t aware of any issues during your stay. We’re sharing your comments with the HOA immediately so they can address the hot tub cleanliness and functionality. We’re sorry this impacted your plans after the race. For future stays, we’re happy to check the most recent HOA status for the pool/spa area prior to arrival and share any updates we have.
