New in our program, this home has many great reviews from past guests.

The gorgeous ocean-side property of Pelican Watch can be yours to visit today! This home features many great amenities and extras that will make your vacation one of the best you've experienced yet. Enjoy being in a great location near the beach walkway and as close to the beach as neighboring semi-oceanfront homes. Three levels of furnished decks will give you the perfect place to experience some great ocean and sound views and beautiful sunrises and sunsets. Or, you can take a relaxing dip in the hot tub on the spacious screened deck and let your cares melt away.

Inside Pelican Watch, you'll find beautiful decor and furnishings in the large great room with a separate dining area. A spacious kitchen with a breakfast bar and wine and beverage refrigerator will be a gathering place to enjoy great meals and chat about the day. The kitchen also features updated appliances including a brand new microwave, stove, and dishwasher. The ship's watch room with a wet bar will be another great place to relax and have some downtime. Three main bedrooms are available, one with a two-person Jacuzzi tub. Two additional bedrooms will ensure everyone has a restful place to sleep.

When you've relaxed enough, enjoy shooting some hoops outdoors with the basketball goal or head to Kinnakeet Shores pool and tennis for additional recreational fun. Plenty of TVs, VCRs, DVD players, stereo/CD players, and a video library will help ensure no one is bored indoors. This property also provides a Stair Tamer cargo lift and convenient under-house parking and is proud to participate in the Hatteras Recycle program.

Best house in Avon!

This is an awesome house. We have been meeting family in Avon for over 20 years. This house has a great open family space, super kitchen, great set up with 3 master bedrooms, and the pelican watch makes you feel like you’re on the beach with fantastic views. We can’t wait to return next year!

Outer Banks

Plenty of room to spread out! Kitchen well stocked with any dishes or tools you might need. Easy walk to beach and Food lion and restaurants nearby. Enjoyed outings to nearby Kitty Hawk, Bodie and Cape Hatteras lighthouses. Very relaxing week.

An amazing family vacation

What a beautiful and spacious retreat. The house was clean and big enough for all of us to have our own space. The hot tub was great being tucked away and private. Location was fantastic literally a two minute walk to the beach. Loved taking family bike rides through the neighborhoods, to eat, and to shop. Thank you for a great home away from home.

We absolutely loved our stay at Moon Palace. There was plenty of room and everything was sparkling clean. Access to the beach was so beautiful and private. The hot tub was clean and a really nice bonus. We made all our meals in the well equipped kitchen and played pool in the game room every night. We can`t wait to return! This home is cute and comfortable. Very clean upon our arrival. The kitchen is well stocked so cooking was made easy. The walk to beach is fairly easy. Although if you have small children, come prepared with a way to tote your stuff and your children. Loved the little neighborhood the house sits in. Spacious and Great Location

House had tons of space, rooms and living areas. Easy to find your own space when you need it. Multi-level decks were a great place to hang out and catch the occasional dolphin out at sea. Needed a toilet and refrigerator repair and the handyman was on site pretty quickly and took care of things. The dumb waiter was nice until it stopped working, may have been the lightning storm from the night before. Close to the beach and loved the house, would definitely stay there again.

Sept2022 vacation

The residence overall was wonderful and very convenient proximity to the beach. The rooms and living areas are welcoming and comfortable. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend this residence. Cleanliness of the house generally was up to expectations, however, the entry way debris by was just swept into a corner and left. The ceiling fan blades are very dirty. Hot tub was a great addition to our stay as was the electric lift that allowed for transport of bags and groceries to the different levels.

Nice quiet neighborhood, short walk to the beach on a acess trail at the end of the caldesac but the beach itself is very small, The waves reach the fronts of the houses at high tide and you would have to walk north or south for a more wide open place to set up a canopy. Spacious House!

Loved the overall layout of the house, very spacious, clean, close to the beach, grocery, restaurants. Nice touches with 3 outdoor shower stalls, chairs and bikes, and mini fridges. Overall pleased and happy with the house but was missing a few family friendly amenities (gas grill, pack n play, high chair). Dryer made a very loud buzz when finished. No exhaust fans in most of the bathrooms.

Fine house - uncomfortable beds

This house was as represented. Lots of room, but Vacasa told us the wrong entry time so we waited around for 2 hours as the cleaners worked. And the bunk bed mattresses are just springs - not really mattresses. By the time we left the adult sleeping in the bunk room was having back spasms from sleeping in there.

This lovely home is located within view of the beach and walking distance from a shopping center. It has a Jacuzzi, a hot tub, three huge bedrooms and two small ones. In addition, there is a crow’s nest with the balcony. The view from this home includes both the Atlantic Ocean and the Sound. The kitchen is fully furnished with an ample supply of both dishes and cooking accessories. The house is clean and well maintained, and the maintenance staff is quick to remedy any issues which arise. My family has come every other year for a decade to Pelican Watch. The only reason we won’t be returning is that our family has grown and we now need a dog friendly house.
