Visiting the beach where we used to have a house.

Surf is a wonderful place. We had a house for 10 years there and it was great to get back again. We have family in Wilmington so it was convenient for us to be at the beach and to see those we love.

The Beach Hut was an exceptional place to stay, boasting a prime location right on the beach and a clean, well-maintained interior. The owners have thought of everything, stocking the kitchen with all the essentials, as well as games and books for entertainment. We had a truly relaxing stay, enjoying the peaceful atmosphere and listening to the soothing sounds of the waves from the comfort of the deck. Families seeking a memorable beach getaway should consider Surf City, which offers pristine waters and a variety of distinctive dining options in close vicinity.

Perfect location. bright and welcoming cottage,

We loved walking down a just a few steps to the beach. The large windows made way for a perfect beach and ocean view. Easy access for unloading our luggage with wide steps and landing. The deck and outdoor shower were lovely. All the decking was well maintained. The home was very clean and the furniture in the living and dining areas were comfortable and well taken care of. I would certainly and happily vacation in the Beach Hut again.

April Break Getaway

The house was just as pictured. The family was comfortable and house had all that was needed for the week. My girls (5 and 3) loved the beach and we found a bunch of shark teeth right in front of the house (including a megalodon tooth) While visiting we went to the Sea turtle rehabilitation center and the topsail pier. The only reason we would not stay here again is because my elderly mother could not get down to the beach (steep at bottom of the stairs) . This is a great place for families and would definitely recommend.

Great location

Love the location and short walk to the beach! Second time for us to book this house. Really charming, has an outdoor shower and a large deck that our family enjoyed while watching the waves. It has everything you need, no need to worry about towels and sheets either which is a big plus for us. We’d love to see better cleaning done so we don’t spend our first day sanitizing and cleaning, and just be able to enjoy the beach right away. Otherwise we truly loved the house!

The location was great. But we had a major issue at the property that quickly turned our vacation into a nightmare. When contacting vacasa, not only was the communication or lack there of terrible, it has been a week since with no attempt to try and compensate for the issue. This unfortunately makes our second time renting with vacasa and needless to say will be the last.

Beach Hut…Topsail

The layout is perfect.Two bedrooms and a bath for each side of home with kitchen looking out to living room and outside deck and ocean.I did comment on mattresses that have not been upgraded in quite some time and the cleanliness was underwhelming.Sand on tables,nasty kitchen appliances that my wife and I cleaned so we could unpack coolers.

Great place at the beach

We had a great time at this house on the beach. Place was clean upon arrival. Kitchen was as described with all need eating and cooking ware. Smart TVs were a nice feature as well. I would suggest this place to friends and relatives for an ocean front getaway. The only thing I would request is that if you arrive a hour early and nothing is going on at the house would be that you are permitted to go in. The response I received from Vacasa was the property did not allow early entry. So we just hung outside until check-in time.

Great location just steps from the beach

The location of this house was wonderful and the sandy beach was literally just down the steps off the back deck. The kitchen was well equipped. We appreciated a variety games and great TV options that were offered. The house was clean upon arrival but was generally a little bit run down. The beige carpets in the bedrooms were very discolored in the high traffic areas as you entered the rooms. Toilets in each bathroom wouldn't stop running to we turned them off between flushes until the maintenance crew could fix. Even after fixing one of the toilets still would run unless you jiggled the handle. The faucet in one of the bathrooms dripped. Beds and living room couches were all uncomfortable.
