Oceanfront, Dog-Friendly House w/Central AC, Free WiFi, Shared Pool, Private W/D

St Somewhere has been completely renovated 2026, photos coming soon. oceanfront St. Somewhere is a friend of mine. Located near quiet and calm South Beach, this home has a wonderful dune-top perch at the end of Shoresurf Lane. The ground level has ample concrete parking, a carport, and an outside shower. The first level has a wide oceanfront deck, four bedrooms, two baths, and a laundry room. One bedroom has a private bath and access to an outside deck. The second-level great room boasts a tall cathedral ceiling and a half bath. The kitchen includes a breakfast bar and a dining area and can handle all vacation cooking challenges. A second interior dining table will come in handy for puzzles and reading and can accommodate extra mealtime guests. The living area is comfortable and has a dry bar and exquisite oceanfront views. The outside furnished oceanfront deck can catch the view from the Cape Hatteras Point to the old pier.

Things to know:
You will be required to sign an additional lease agreement upon making a booking which will be sent to your email. You will not be able to check-in until we have received your signature electronically. Please contact us directly if you do not receive this agreement.


Please note: Guests have access to the Club Hatteras Pool Facility. Additional details around this facility will be shared in your check-in email and during the check-in process. The club is typically open Mid-May to Mid-October, depending on weather.

Great Location!

Our family enjoyed a wonderful time in Frisco, NC. Close location to Ocracoke Ferry, Cape Hatteras Lighthouse and dining. The house itself could have been cleaner but overall a wonderful stay!

House was very comfortable for our family and pet dogs! The best feature was the location. Beach access was right next to the house. There were great views of the ocean from the top deck.Quiet neighborhood and places to walk the dogs.Easy check in and out!

Great location, great layout

Nice house. Comfortable, clean, laid out beautifully with living area upstairs to take full advantage of the views. Everything about the house is convenient. Well stocked with towels etc.

Amazing Views

We had a fantastic vacation at this home. The house was set up perfectly for us and included plenty of space for meals and spending time together. The views were spectacular and it was just a short walk over the dunes to the beach. It was never too crowded at the beach which was nice too! We were all sorry to have to leave!

Thanksgiving at the Beach

The top floor of the home where the living room and dining room and kitchen are located has been remodeled and offers a wonderful view of the ocean and has easy access to the beach The lower floor has all the bedrooms There is carpet in all the bedrooms and this is a dog friendly unit which we appreciated I would love to see the bottom floor renovated. We really enjoyed our stay. The kitchen was nicely equipped!

My only recommendation is when the house is ready for check in I should have been made aware. The house was clean and ready by 1PM.

St. Somewhere

St. Somewhere was absolutely wonderful! The home was neat and clean with a very welcoming vibe! There were plenty of spaces to relax and enjoy the beautiful ocean views! We also enjoyed watching the deer graze daily just outside our door! Access to the beach was so easy as well! The outdoor shower area was great after a day at the beach with our children. We absolutely love St. Somewhere and hope to visit again very soon!

Amazing location and Beautiful house!

We loved the location - central to lower end of the Outer Banks. It's quieter down there, but awesome! Less than 2 hours to Corolla. Short walk to the beach! The bright and airy living room has panoramic views of the ocean and the porch downstairs (connected to two bedrooms) also has a view of the water. Cute, quaint place on the water. The rooms are smaller and there are lots of stairs, but it's so worth it! We'll be back again!

Beautiful views and location

Beautiful view and location. The cleaning of it beforehand was as if they just came and dropped sheets and towels off and left. It was no clean, had to vacuum everything to start the week off. Bedrooms smell a little bit like pee. Views, upstairs accommodation and room was awesome. The trip to the beach was awesome. You cannot beat the views with this home. It's just a shame vacasa didn't clean it well.

Amazing views

The location was just what we wanted peaceful and right on the beach. We saw dolphins in the water every day and enjoyed the relaxation. The house was good it was the perfect size for 8 people. It could have been a little cleaner there were some dirty dishes in the kitchen. Make sure you come prepared there are no beach chairs or beach towels at the house. Also no sand toys. All and all it was a great vacation.

Very nice beach house!

Nice house right on the beach! We had 8 people, 5 adults and 3 teenage kids. Upstairs room was plenty big enough for all of us to be in. Lower area with bedrooms was also large enough for all of us. Some of us shared bedrooms which we knew in advance. We chose to eat in more this year and the kitchen pots/pans/cooking items could be upgraded a little and the pool option is in Avon not hatteras. But overall this house was perfect for us. Beach wasn’t crowded and a short walk over the dune. View from upper deck of the ocean was awesome. We would stay here again!

Seaside retreat

We really enjoyed the beautiful great room and the views of the ocean/sky. We enjoy cooking but the utensils, mainly pots and pans, were not good. Some were not useable. We came at the end of the season and a good deep clean would be in order. Found dog hair and dust in lots of places. Also, the sliders in the bedrooms need repair as we could barely use them without effort. Please note the number of stairs in the description. One of the guests had a difficult time with all the stairs.

Great house, great location.

House itself was great, and in a great location. (NOTE: there is an access trail directly beside the house for the other members of the community. Not super busy, but it is used by other people. Certainly not a John Candy "Summer Rental" level situation, but something to note). Seclusion is the name of the game here. Not much to do this far south on the islands, but that's the point. Beach is beautiful. House has everything you need in a beach bungalow, but maybe not the bougie style you would expect for the area. Still very nice. Our biggest compliant was with the cleanliness on arrival than with the house itself. It really does need a full steam cleaning head-to-toe. I get that it's a rental house, but if you'd like me to recommend and come back, you'll need to step up the cleaning a bit.

Home needs attention

This home is in need of some maintenance and cleaning attention. Upon arrival none of the bathrooms were cleaned. The dishwasher didn’t work. None of the vacuums worked. There were stains on the beds. The lower level has a terrible smell, like mold and there is a leak coming from the ceiling into the outside shower that is leaving a green stain so it appears to be a chemical leak. I called vacasa twice during our visit with no callback for maintenance at all. The linen issue we were told to go drive somewhere and pick our own up. So far unimpressed with vacasa in OBX.

Cleanliness

The properties location was amazing. Close to the beach. Beautiful view from the living room. The house needed a good cleaning though. The shower curtains in both bathrooms had pink and black mold on them. The A/C didn’t keep the downstairs cool. It was so hot I had to sleep on the couch upstairs all week. The baseboards and corners on the floor were gross and had hair and dirt. The large rug in the living room was very dirty and stained. We had to wear our shoes inside the home. The furniture in the living room was uncomfortable. The entire environment of the home was not comfortable. It’s difficult to relax when you’re in a dirty environment. Fixing the A/C, replacing the living room rug and shower liners and a good cleaning is recommended.

This property was absolute PERFECTION! It was A clean, the beachfront location was convenient to the beach and it had everything you might need for a carefree coastal get-a-way!!We loved just hanging out on the deck, gazing at the ocean and enjoying the crashing waves for morning coffee, lunch and evening wine!We will definitely be back!!
