House of Windows truly lives up to its name, as multiple windows throughout this uniquely designed house let in tons of Outer Banks sunshine and fresh ocean breezes! This three-bedroom, two-bathroom sound-side home is one of the Island's best values with gorgeous colors, warm, wooden accents, and eye-catching decor.

A TV, DVD player, VCR player, and stereo/CD player are available for indoor entertainment. Other great amenities at House of Windows include a washer and dryer in the under-house utility room, high-speed wireless internet, and a refrigerator with an icemaker.

If you can't get enough sunshine indoors from all those windows, step outside to the furnished sundeck and soak up the rays while taking in a breathtaking sunrise or sunset. You can also go for a dip in the shared pool.

Enjoy bright vacation fun and great value on your next trip to Hatteras Island when you stay at House of Windows.

Perfect stay!

This house was perfect for me, my husband and our 3 kids. It had a comfy coastal feel and the mornings when the sun started to come through all the windows felt so beautiful! This was our 4th time in OBX and our favorite house to stay in!

Great house for a family of 4. House is a little older and could use some minor improvements but nothing that would effect your stay. Great location near the Food Lion and other Avon locations, plus has access to large Vacasa pool. Fully equipped for whatever you would need. Can't go wrong with this house.

The House of Windows is a nice place to stay. The back door does not lock, as a matter of fact, the lock comes off in your hand. All the sliding closet doors are pretty much inoperable. There is storage, but you can't access it, because every door sticks. The house could use some TLC. The oven door does not close completely; it works; but is not very efficient. Be sure to take your own pizza pan or cookie sheet, if you plan on a frozen pizza or baking bacon...the only one there has holes for using on a grill. Don't fill the coffee pot with water the night before; it leaks. Also, the dining room chairs need to be tightened. Two were so loose we didn't use them for fear of breaking them, or us. The advertised short walk to the beach is not short and if you use the closest access there's a huge drop-off. I realize this is not the owner's problem, but not what we expected. We had a good time. Made memories and had a few good laughs.

Amazing Property!

The House of Windows didn’t disappoint, as the property has an open floor plan with plenty of space, nestled a short walk away from the beach. The home was great, and the outdoor bar on the ground level is a nice touch! Highly recommend this property if you value your privacy and are looking for a nice home to spend with your family for the week.

Great little space!

This is a great little beach house away from the hustle of Nags Head. The bar setup underneath the house is a great addition! Only about a block away (if that) from several beach access. The platform on top of the house is great to sit back and enjoy the stars!

Loved it

Really enjoyed staying at House of Windows. Great location and offered everything you need. Beach access is fairly easy if you don’t mind walking. If not, plenty of other places you can drive to for the day. The shared pool is a very short distance and quite nice. Plenty of dining options and even a convenient store next door that is easily walkable. Would definitely stay again. Thank you Vacasa!

Cute home with character

Loved the character of this home. It was perfect location for us and close to the things to wanted to do. However, the beds are not comfortable at all and the king bed is extremely squeaky. The second you move it squeaks so loud. It does seem to need a fresh coat of paint, but overall a nice home.

There is nothing better than sitting on the deck at Sky Box, either watching the sunrise, or look...

There is nothing better than sitting on the deck at Sky Box, either watching the sunrise, or looking up at the stars at night...all while being lulled by the incredible waves below. The view is nothing short of magnificent. And you can even see the ocean from just about every window inside the cottage. Watching, and hearing, the ocean breaking under the cottage is breathtaking. Basic but all you need

This house was perfect and priced accordingly to amenities. It was one of the cleanest beach rentals we have ever stayed in. The layout works nicely for family as living room is separate from sleeping area which allows sleeping areas to remain quiet and kids to be able to nap or parents to sleep in. Water pressure was fantastic which is unusual for a rental. Kitchen was stocked with plenty of plates and silverware. If you like a more fancy high end rental you might want to look at another option. The house works great if you are accustomed to more of the old style houses in the outer banks.
