Look no further than oceanview PARADISE RETREAT for a heavenly vacation. This 4,000+ sf upscale home has 2 carports, a backyard pool, and is across from the beach boardwalk. The first living level has an extra-large game room with full bath, entertainment area with comfy seating, pool table, mini kitchen, and deck access to hot tub and pool area. Bedroom 1 is convenient to laundry room. On the second level PARADISE RETREAT opens with a well-furnished den with pool view. Oceanview primary bedroom 2 has deck access, a TV/DVD and full bath. Oceanview master 3 has TV/DVD and full bath. Pool view masters 4 and 5 have deck access, TV/DVD, and full baths. The top floor great room with warm oak floors and tall ceilings has a top of the line living area with resort furnishings, big screen TV with surround sound, fireplace, and half bath. A huge well-appointed granite countered kitchen has a large island and is close to dining area and screened porch that overlooks the pool. Find paradise in primary bedroom 6 with TV/DVD, full bath with double sink, and deck access. From beach to poolside every guest will find something to like at PARADISE RETREAT.

The fireplace is available October through April
You will be required to sign an additional lease agreement upon making a booking which will be sent to your email. You will not be able to check in until we have received your signature electronically.

The private pool is open seasonally from 4/26/2025 and closes 10/12/2025. Dates are subject to change.

Beautiful house!

Great place to stay! House layout is awesome. Everyone had their own space. Loved that every bedroom had its own bathroom. 2nd floor sitting area was a great place for the kids to play. Pool was beautiful. Convenient beach access. We would definitely stay here again!

Sun Lover's Heaven

We loved the direct access to the wide beach, just across the street at Paradise Retreat. Our pool had sun in the afternoon and evening, which extended our swimming times. We don't get much sun in Western Pennsylvania, so we get our fill on vacation. Nice to have bathrooms for each guest bedroom. Elevator is a plus! Loved the open floor plan on top floor and lots comfortable furniture. Beautiful, clean cottage.

Best vacation ever

This is our second time stating at paradise retreat.. hopefully a third next year. We had an issue with the elevator but it was rectified very fast. The lounge chairs by the pool were cracked and unsafe to sit in. We called and they replaced the chairs immediately. My family loved this vacation in this beautiful home...

Great location

The location was perfect. The pool was a blessing on the 105 degree days. The house was not really clean. The first floor shower drain was clogged and maintenence said they needed to call a plumber but no one came. The shower could not be used. We enjoyed our stay nevertheless. Thank you.

Unsafe, Maintenance Needed

Second floor balcony railing was broken upon arrival and wouldn't have kept someone from falling off and others were very loose. Electrical outlets had broken plugs in them. Dishwasher was full of mold. Range top burners did not work properly. Refrigerator shelves were missing and were previously torn out of fridge door. Doorknob was missing from bedroom. Hot tub had major leak that needed temporary repair. Clothes were left behind around the pool and in couches, not cleaned very well. Main entertainment system was missing remote to control the Dish network TV. Great location, but in need of TLC.

Nice house

The house has a great location and nice wooded walkway to the beach, but it’s a hike for younger children or aging adults. The beach carts don’t really work on the path, so be prepared to carry everything. The house was missing a lot of utensils/cooking accessories in the kitchen. Overall, the home was nice but I’m not a fan of Vacasa.

Location, location location!

The house is in a great location in terms of shops, beach/beach access and remote vacation needs. However this home has a few issues that have not been addressed in at least the last 2 years since our last stay and that is unacceptable even after calling in service tickets many times to management such as the pool and hot tub lights not working.

Paradise Retreat Review

Out first time in Avon. We have been going to Nags Head for almost 15 urars The location is great, however the home is in a little rough shape for the money. When we arrived the cleaning was less than desired. A-lot of items in the home are damaged or just in bad shape. The layout is great, but needs some outdoor furniture for relaxing by the pool. We make the best of things and don't typically complain so we had a great time in OBX ad always. Not impressed with Vacasa. Called, well texted but nobody to help. Most likely will go back the the other rental companies. Owner and Agent need to do a better job on amenities for the price.

Clean, well-appointed home very close to boardwalk beach access

House was very clean and in excellent shape. Just across the street from boardwalk beach access. Vacasa was quick to respond when we had an issue with the elevator. Note that the elevator does not go to the ground floor so our guest who often uses a wheel chair was forced to walk up and down stairs. By the end of the week, this was a good thing for this person’s mobility but did limit their movement.
