- Moose Point State Park (25 min) - Scenic picnic spots, hiking trails, and tidal pools.

- Camden (40 min) - Charming town "where the mountains meet the sea."
- Acadia National Park (1 hr 30 min) - Where wild adventure and stunning, iconic views await.
Interaction with Guests
While you will have the entire cabin to yourself for complete privacy, please note that we (the hosts) live on the property in our tiny home, located about 60 feet from the cabin. You may see us from time to time as we work on developing our permaculture gardens, building forest paths, and constructing our next guest accommodation - a cozy glamping cabin in the middle of the forest. We love connecting with guests who are interested, but we also deeply respect your need for solitude and will give you all the space you desire. If you are looking for a secluded cabin in the middle of the forest, this is not it. If you feel called to be a part of creative, loving community, we canât wait to host you.
Other Details to Note
Maine Nature: You will be immersed in a natural forest environment. This includes local wildlife and insects (like black flies, mosquitoes, and ticks, especially in warmer months). We are grateful to the many species who share the land in which these bugs are their food source, but we also provide bug spray and Thermocell to assist with your health and comfort. For a bug-free experience, a winter visit is a wonderful option.
Connectivity: The cabin does not have a TV. However, the high-speed Starlink Wi-Fi is excellent for streaming movies and shows on your personal devices. Please be aware that cell phone service can be intermittent depending on your carrier.
Wood Stove: The wood stove is only available for guest use between November and April.
AC and Heat: The cabin also has a split unit for ultra comfort in all seasons.
If all this sounds good, add this cabin to your saved list or better yet, instant book your stay. We look forward to hosting you.
