Lake Cottage Stay

We were here for a week and had a great time! The house is quite small but well equipped for a short stay. The lake is beautiful and we had fun swimming as well as putting the kayaks to use. Pretty close to a local grocery and about 20 minutes to Belfast.

Perfect Maine Getaway

This was our second time staying at this lovely camp and we once again had an absolute blast. My kids (10, 7, and 4) and husband and I loved swimming in the crystal clear water, snorkeling around the rocks, fishing off the docks and kayaks (we caught and released 4 fish this year- two sunfish by kids and two bass by my husband). We also relaxed in the hammock and watched movies and played with the toys inside in the cool AC. We enjoyed kayaking over to explore Swan Lake State Park and ventured out to nearby Belfast, Perrys Nut House, and Fort Point State Park. It was a perfect vacation and we may be back next year for more.

Cozy Cottage Lakefront Joys

My family stayed here for 4 days and had a lovely time. The cottage is definitely on the small side but stocked with all the essentials including a bunch of toys which my kids loved playing with on our rainy day. They also loved the sandy beach swimming area and rocks to climb and jump off of as well as the floats and kayaks that made for relaxing and exploring. We caught (and released) 3 small fish off the dock and also watched the moonrise and stars from it. The cottage is located right across from Swan Lake State Park which we easily kayaked over to and explored (we have a State Park Pass). We also enjoyed visiting Fort Knox, Perry's Nuthouse, and Belfast which are all a short drive away. It was a lovely time!

Maine Stay!

We went to Maine for a wedding and needed a place to stay when in town. We found this gem 💎 in the listings. It was available and looked like it had plenty of character for us. It was everything we were looking for, clean , neat and off the beaten path. The lake is beautiful, the grocery 7 minutes away on the other end of the lake was equally as amazing! Everything you can think of! We didn’t have the weather to enjoy the lake, but the calming that took place because of the atmosphere was amazing! We can’t thank the Susan and family enough for sharing there place with us. When we were finally cleaning up after are stay, we were having a difficult time trying to get the place looking as good or better than when we found it. The Bakers and their team keep a very tidy place! Keep up the great work! Thanks again for sharing 🙏 Jeff & Kathy

Many thanks to the hosts for being so responsive - they answered all our questions very quickly and did everything possible to make our stay as pleasant as possible. The cabin itself is simple but feels very lived-in and cozy, and it has everything needed for a great vacation: from an air fryer in the kitchen to life vests in all sizes for kayaking. We had a wonderful time swimming, fishing with the kids, and kayaking as a family (two adults and two children) every day. The lake is simply magical - the water is very clean, the bottom is sandy, and swimming there is a pure delight.

This a fantastic spot for a Maine vacation. The cabin is clean and cozy, and has everything you need. The private walk-in beach area was the perfect spot for reading and getting into the lake. The hammock, floats and kayaks were the icing on the cake. Hosts were quick to reply when we needed any assistance. Exactly what I had hoped for -I would highly recommend!
