Place was stocked with everything you could possibly need. Plenty of space for us to spread out. And the easy access to the beach at the far end of the island where there were no crowds was perfection. Our family had a blast!

This is our fourth year renting Bacon in the Sun - same weekend. Love this place. This is the first time that the door code did not work. But - I had a text in my phone with a number to call if we needed anything - and even though I called after hours, someone politely and quickly solved our problem - with a new digital code. Yay. Everything was great. Just as we all remember from years past.

This was our first visit to Folly Beach. The area definitely has a sit-back and relax vibe. The property has beautiful ocean views. The walk to the beach was doable for any age family member. The beach was never crowded. Everything was clean and the kitchen was incredibly well stocked for a vacation property. The furniture was comfortable and stuck with the relaxed Folly Beach vibe. We had a wonderful time.

the location was great and quiet. The home was nice and layout was good. Had separation for the primary and other bedrooms and privacy. Didn't like that view of beach was blocked by two houses in front of ours. Nice covered deck

The home is in great condition and very clean. Very spacious and plenty of room to spread out. We have stayed at Folly many times and it was a nice change to be on the quiet side of the island.

Bacon in the Sun is an ideal place for any family to unwind, walk the beach, cook, entertain, or just make a puzzle while it rains. The peace and relaxation of a home like this is truly part of the reason someone vacations. We loved the common area and the fact that each room felt enough isolation and doors between to create quite areas for personal time or just rest. If you're looking for a place to bring your family to, don't skip this one.

We enjoyed this pet friendly property basically on the beach. It has partially unobstructed views even tho there is a home directly between you and the beach. The home was exactly as described. The kitchen was well equipped and had everything we needed. It is located at the the quiet end of Folly Beach very close to the path to the lighthouse. It was a beautiful and relaxing place. We would stay here over and over again!!

The beach house was clean and great, had everything we needed. Even though there is a house directly in front of you the views were amazing. An easy walk down to the beach. The covered patio was great to enjoy a morning coffee or a cocktail. The house was roomy and spacious and very functional for our needs. Would definitely stay again. The location on the beach is great which is further down from the hustle and bustle of the city beach. Beach chairs would be a nice touch for those flying in from out of town. There are rental places but being a beach house it would be nice if they were provided. All in all this is a great beach house!

We had a great visit. The kitchen is very well equipment and it made our family meals a fun part of the gathering. Bacon in the Sun gave all some quiet time together. Beach provides a great location for the fun.

Great house at the east end of folly on the beach. Away from bustle of center street, but very close when you want to go to the shops/restaurants.Management team was very professional and prompt helping with any of the usual bumps of a vacation rental.

Great place to stay

I will say I was a little nervous about staying that far down on Folly since I was bringing my children with me however it turned out to be the perfect location. Not only was the house super accessible to the beach it was also one of the best stocked houses I’ve stayed in I would definitely stay here again
