The Space:

****Due to ongoing hurricane repairs and maintenance through 2025, the pool will be unavailable, construction noise will occur during the day, workers will be on-site, and balcony access may be limited at times





Journey from the everyday to the exceptional at Sea Gate 406, a bright and open seaside oasis. Gorgeous beachfront views fill the main areas of the condo, letting you soak in the sunshine from any cozy spot you choose.



Grab beach chairs, and towels on your way down to the white sand each morning, and come home in the afternoon to a balcony with plenty of seating for everyone. Inside, find an open living area with stylish furnishings and custom fixtures, a well-equipped kitchen with marble countertops and stainless steel appliances, and such conveniences as a private washer/dryer, free WiFi, and TVs in the living room and bedrooms.



The bedrooms include a primary suite with private balcony access, a personal work desk, and an en suite bath with marble dual vanities, a walk-in shower, and a separate dressing area.



The Sea Gate complex boasts a heated oceanfront pool, tropical lounge areas, and a grilling patio. As for Indian Shores, this quiet beach community sits just south of Indian Rocks Beach and is laden with Florida charm, fiery sunsets, and an assortment of shops and restaurants. Just 19 blocks long, it is known for its friendly atmosphere, lovely beaches, great seafood, and tropical wildlife. Indian Shores is also home to the Suncoast Seabird Sanctuary, one of the largest nonprofit bird hospitals in the country, and the fun-filled Splash Harbour Water Park.

The county is completing an emergency beach erosion control project on the beaches in Pinellas County. The next stage is for Indian Shores beaches, which is scheduled for preparations on December 8, 2023, with work beginning on Monday, December 11, 2023. The project is slated to last until January 31, 2024. Beaches will be closed in the area during this time and will not be accessible to guests.

Nice condo

We enjoyed our stay in this condo. It was clean and well kept. Great location. The construction was loud at times but we knew this would be the case coming in. Our biggest complaint was that the elevator broke down twice while we were staying here. The last time it broke down when was we were leaving with our luggage. Unfortunately we had to carry the luggage down the 4 flights of stairs.

Amazing Location!

The location is the best!! You are right on the beach! Just make sure you know until they get all the hurricane damage fixed, the balcony and the pool are both closed. Ask the question if those are important to you. Paddle boards and kayak not there due to garage work. I did purchase extra beach chairs so now there are chairs for 6 people. Property was clean and the beds were super comfy! We will come back and stay especially after they get the balcony fixed. Vacasa was very responsive as well. Overall we had a great time!

The condo was nice and spacious. The kitchen was well stocked. We wish we would have had access to the balcony, but we understand with the hurricane damage. I t was a good location and we will be back.

Lots of Construction at the Sea Gate right now

This condo was lovely and was very tastefully decorated. The trouble was the listing was inaccurate. There was no balcony (due to the construction) so we were switched to a different unit that had a balcony. Right now in mid January 2025 the construction is very very very loud from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. during the week. This is very stress inducing as concrete cutting is being done. Also the elevator was not 100% reliable during our stay due to the work around it and the stairs are not very safe to walk on as they are also being worked on. Due to the construction and lack of balcony I cannot recommend staying in this unit at this time. I am sure it will be lovely once the construction is complete. Also make sure to pack or buy your own toilet paper, shampoo, dish detergent, and laundry detergent as the starter set does not last long. Also with Vacasa that manages this unit there was a communication breakdown between the national hotline phone number and the local on the ground staff that was more knowable. Everyone was friendly but the system makes communication strenuous with too many middle men that are not local and do not know the property or what is going on.

Mostly great - needs some TLC and better communication

Overall, we had a great stay and enjoyed our vacation. But, I probably wouldn't book with this unit again due to Vacasa and their local support (Teeming VR) being poor. Pros: The location is absolutely stellar. Views are amazing. Beach is wonderful. Beach access is private with a coded gate. Pool is immaculate. Unit comes with access to some beach toys like a paddle board and kayaks. A few extras are in there, but not guaranteed, like life vests for kids. There were some broken chairs and other broken items, but I was happy to have working versions of anything because it was free. Cons: The dishwasher does not work. I reported this via multiple channels (text, phone, email) but only got a response from Vacasa via text. They said they would try to contact the local support team, but either never did, or never heard back. They never contacted me either. The dishwasher was never fixed. Have fun handwashing your dishes. We also could not find any beach towels. It took almost two days to hear back from the local maintenance group (Teeming VR) to let us know they were in a small cabinet in the utility room with the water heater... So keep that in mind if you book. Anyway... local support is almost non-existent, so don't expect a lot. Be prepared to work with broken appliances. They are in a variety of stages of repair. But, the unit is beautiful, and in an amazing location. Prices are competitive, but I wonder if other nearby units have better support.

Great stay at Seagate

This was our 3rd time staying at Seagate and the 3rd different unit. This unit was as advertised, nicely stocked and decorated. Outside of a weeks worth of construction outside, we enjoyed our stay. If I had one complaint, it would be the quality of furniture on the patio overlooking the gulf. When you’re from Ohio, that is often the best spot in the condo and the furniture was not comfortable or sturdy. A huge positive was the available water equipment. We all took turns kayaking in the gulf. Thank you for allowing us to spend a week in your nice condo.

Good property, horrible customer service and communication

The rental was great. Clean, well taken care of, and a wonderful location with a view. The beach was picturesque. Truly a dream. The customer service was horrendous. There was construction on the pool and community deck starting on the Monday of our trip, and lasted until the Friday we left, leaving all of the listed amenities off limits. We were informed the pool would be off limits (well after we booked), but no word on the other amenities. The noise was so loud that we were unable to use our deck or keep the sliding doors open to enjoy the sound of the ocean. The dust from brick cutting made it difficult to breath if the doors were open. Construction was from 8 am - 6 pm nightly. I had to call customer service 12 times over 4 days and still never received a solution. Every time I called I was told they would call me back, but I didn't receive a response until the last day of the stay. The call center for the company had to call "local", but never allowed me to contact them myself. Their response was "construction was completed on Tuesday"... though it was actively happening on Friday when I received the communication. I had video and picture evidence, but they did not want to see it. Their lack of communication both before and during the trip made a difficult situation incredibly frustrating. The lack of compassion towards the experience of my family during a once in a lifetime trip was nothing short of heartless.

Florida Anniversary Trip

The wife and I booked this condo simply to be next to the beach. Our first time to Indian Shores area. The condo was very nice, clean, and had everything we needed for a relaxing trip. Beech towels and chairs were provided which lessened our load. Parking was great and a good location to many restaurants. The only downside was that the pool was under rehab, so we did not get to use our pool. The updates look nice. The beach was very clean and the water was clear.

Disappointed

Just returned from a week in this property and while it was a great location, the unit itself needs a good deep cleaning. Surfaces were clean but a good amount of the furniture needs updating or cleaning. The furniture on the balcony was filthy and falling apart and wasn't conducive for sitting and enjoying the view. For the price charged, I feel that we could have found a better place. With competition so stiff, the owners of this unit need to up their game.

Great location. Not as commercialized.

Family get away, along with a family members wedding in near by Tampa. Everything needed for our stay was available in the condo. Would definitely recommend.

Great view. Needs a deep clean and some TLC!

Great location. Super view. Nicely appointed. It needs some maintenance and a deep clean. Woodwork, walls doors, sliders and mirrors all had smudge prints/dirt on them. Knobs in kitchen were sticky. Master bath has a cracked shower pan and leaks. Mold growing in the grout lines and by the ceiling fan. Light fixtures were very dusty with small dead bugs in them. Water pressure on the right master sink is a trickle. Deck furniture was rickety. We had a great time and loved the location. I think it could be a much better experience with a good deep clean.

Property was as advertised. Very clean, location was awesome, close to restaurants that we could walk to. Allowed us to come in 1 night earlier due to a tropical storm. Wood highly recommend.

Amazing views and updated condo

We loved our stay on Indian Shores beach! The condo was very well stocked, clean, comfortable, and the views were absolutely amazing. We even saw dolphins from our balcony in the mornings. We enjoyed breakfast at frog pond cafe and sweet sage cafe. Coffee was amazing from Indian Shores coffee Co. and our favorite dinner spots were bored n broke grill and Salt Rock Grill (be sure to make reservations) the biggest thing I would change about the property is the inclusion of a portable crib (pack n play) for infants and toddlers. Otherwise beach toys would be a nice addition. One review mentions access to kayaks, etc. but I’m not sure where we would have found those. Overall, we had an amazing stay and would definitely stay again.

Great location

We loved our location in relationship to restaurants and the beach. It was a nice condo with a great pool and right on the ocean was a huge benefit considering we had elderly relatives with us who couldn’t navigate down to the beach. A new shower head in the hall bath would be great for the weak water pressure. Also, nicer patio furniture would be a plus. We enjoyed our stay overall.

Fantastic

Beautiful, comfortable and convenient. Love the condo, right on beach. Close to restaurants, shops, and close to other major cities. Perfect place! Hope I can stay there next year.
