Find peace and quiet among the palmettos at this lovely home in Folly Beach, where you'll have a large fenced yard complete with an outdoor hammock. This lushly landscaped property includes two spacious porches (the upper porch is screened), a gas grill for cookouts on beautiful summer days, and easy beach access on a public path that leads directly to the sand about 400 yards away.

WHAT’S NEARBY
Folly Beach is a mecca for fishing, surfing, biking, kayaking, and boating, and you'll have easy access to it all with the beach a short stroll away. Center Street and its many shops, restaurants, bars, and recreational outfitters is less than half a mile east as well. If you're interested in exploring the region's rich history and renowned cuisine, you'll be only 12 miles south of downtown Charleston.

Extremely well appointed home. Very clean. Close access to the beach, restaurants, bars, ice cream, souvenir shops. Very fun and beautiful place to stay!

The house was beautiful and clean. Check in was seamless. Short walk to beach and town, lots of seating for adults and easy parking. Beach access point you enter through even has a public restroom so you don't have to walk back to the house.Although the listing does not include them there were quite a few beach chairs and a cart in the garage.My biggest complaint was the lack of nice beach towels. We would definately stay here again!

Little getaway

We had a wonderful little getaway for spring break. We loved the house, the easy stroll to the beach with 2 young kids and walking up to the main town area. Folly Beach was a gem and we can’t wait to come back.

Excellent Location!

This was the perfect property for our family vacation. We loved the town of Folly Beach! It has a little bit of everything. The house itself was comfortable and clean. It has a lovely backyard and is on a quiet, well-lit street. It is also an easy drive to Charleston for sightseeing. We would stay here again!

Great stay!

We really enjoyed the property! Would stay again for sure. Short walk to the beach and close to downtown. Quick drive to Charleston as well. Bring bug spray if you visit in the summer. The kitchen was also limited on tupperware/storage items.

House is very clean!

House is extremely clean. Kitchen is well equipped and nice pack yard. Nearby path/ short cut to the beach was key. Having beach chairs and wagon at the house was a nice surprise. Thank you! Love the bathrooms - updated and nicely decorated. Didn't need them as the weather was sunny, but house has nice assortment of board games.

Everything was in order and the house and property were nice and clean. Customer service was friendly and acted quickly when we had an issue with the hot water. They had service people out the next day and got the issue resolved in a timely matter. Had a great time and enjoyed the property and house.

Great location, large house with poor communication

Let me start with all the things we loved - Location - very close to the main strip and beach, we never had to worry about driving in to town Lights and security - While the property is on a poorly lit street, they have automatic lights that turn on after dusk and were super helpful. Digital lock on the door is great! Unfortunately, if you want to park in the garage, you have to enter the house first and open it from the inside, not convenient but we did not feel the need to park inside. House - Place is large enough for a big group, generally well maintained and they took care of small details like leaving us a new dish sponge, detergent etc that was mindful given the COVID times Things I did not appreciate: 1. While the listing is on VRBO, it is managed by a group called Vacasa. They are unresponsive on VRBO and will force you to download their app to have other communication. 2. While the place is listed at lower rates than other homes, they charge you almost the same as much in fees. While I understood it, it can be misleading to others. 3. We flew in from out of state and asked multiple times about early check in on VRBO with no response. We filled our time after landing doing other things but still reached there 45 mins before their super late 4pm check in time and called the management company to ask if they could let us in early, as I stand outside the door, the property manager LIED to me saying the property was not "ready" yet. Please clarify your inflexible check in policy in the listing and make yourselves available to people who make reservations. 4. Our last day at the property, I noticed the kitchen faucet has about half an inch of mold on it!! We had using water out of that faucet this whole time!! The shower in the master bath also has some mold but not as bad as the kitchen faucet.

Loved this house!

This house was amazing and so much better than the pictures looked online. It was very spacious and clean. The walk to the beach was super easy and the house was stocked with everything you would need.

Sweet spot with all the beach and kitchen gear you need!

We loved riding around on the bikes too! Thank you! Our only complaint is that it was hard to reach a property manager about the keylock. I think there was just some turnover on that front. Great house. Great location! Love Folly!
