An easy one block walk will take you to the beach or the heart of Folly on Center Street where you will have access to shopping and restaurants. Sign up for surfing or paddleboard lessons at one of the various rental companies on the island. Find fine dining, shopping options, an aquarium, and plenty of boat charters at downtown Charleston, 11.5 miles away. It's totally worth the trip, especially if you're into history. Book a boat tour to admire the Charleston harbor and spot some dolphins. You'll be able to see The Battery, Waterfront Park, the Arthur Ravenel Jr. Bridge, Fort Sumter, and Castle Pinckney.

Nice place

Property was nice, but people upstairs were very loud. Man in unit next door kept looking from his porch into our living room. Also...a swiffer mop or dust mop would be helpful to keep floors free of sand.

Another amazing stay in Folly

This is our second time at this place in Folly. We absolutely love everything about it! The location, the porch is probably our favorite thing about the place! The host was very responsive to a few minor issues and were fixed in no time! A place to stay!!

Great Location

We stayed for a long weekend and had the best time. The condo is perfect for 2-4 adults. You can't beat the views of the ocean or people watching off the deck. Just a short walk to the beach, shopping, and dining.

Great location in Folly Beach

My husband and I spent a long weekend in this unit and we enjoyed it. The location is excellent- very short walk to beach, restaurants, church, and shopping. The unit was clean and the furniture was comfortable. The covered porch is great for looking at the ocean and enjoying the breeze. The only downside was the amount of noise from the nearby businesses with live music and partiers until pretty late at night and the noise from footstomps from the unit upstairs. If you want to go to sleep at 10 or 11PM and are not a heavy sleeper, it can be tough (at least when we were there- Fri and Sat night in September). Otherwise, this is a great place to stay.

Great view! Great location!

We loved our stay here! The furniture is nicer than pictured! What does need work is the maintenance of the unit. All but one set of blinds are broken. The patio could use a deep clean. There are abandoned hornets nests in the rafters of the porch above you. The oven handle is broken off. Overall great unit can’t beat the location or view. We would stay there again.

Love the location. Love the screened porch. Property was very nice except for the kitchen. It was not well equipped although we made do with substitutions, ie. hand towel instead of oven mitt, soup pot instead of large skillet. Very dim light in kitchen. Both bedrooms were comfortable. We would be happy to stay again. We thought we were in a first floor unit, but we’re on the 2nd floor. No problem since there was an elevator.

Folly Beach surprise

This unit is a block from the beach, but the buildings in front of it are lower, so there is a really nice view from the kitchen/living space area and deck. The furniture has been improved greatly in the living area since these pictures.

Fantastic getaway!

This condo was the perfect space for two couples on vacation. In walking distance to the beach, shops and restaurants. Enjoyed our morning coffee on the front porch looking at the sunrise over the ocean. Will be back!

Wonderful location!

This is our second year staying @beachwalk 23. Location is terrific. Across from the pier. Beach access next to pier. Center street is one block away. Everything went well check-in to checkout. Had a problem with our freezer and someone was there within 30" of texting them. As a family that prefers cooking most of our meals,the kitchen needed more. There were no sheer pans;measuring utensils and all of the knives needed sharpening. This was the only negative for us. If you are not linking bon using the kitchen a lot you will love. We would definitely rent again if all our family is unable to attend. Too small if all of us are there.

Wonderful Girls Weekend

What a wonderful view of the ocean. Folly Beach is very unique - in a wonderful way. People are so friendly and go out of the way to give you tips on the best local restaurants. We had easy access to downtown, rented a golf cart to check out the bird sanctuary and light house. The condo was extremely clean and met all of our needs. My daughter left her prescription sunglasses behind and we hope that they are found and can be mailed. Thanks for the memories.

The perfect place!

Very clean and spacious. The location can’t be better as it is in the middle of everything, but still quietly tucked away. Property managers were very easy to communicate with and check in was a breeze. It was also well stocked with everything you need on vacation. We will go back to this spot.

Bustling Center of Folly Beach

Right in the center of Folly Beach bar and tourist scene. A litttle loud weekend nights but not too bad. Two blocks from the beach. Nice view of the ocean from the balcony. Very functional, clean and well appointed 2 bedroom condo. Property management was first rate. On the downside, lots of deferred maintenance. Main bedroom bed was super soft and uncomfortable. Fawcets coming loose from their fixtures. Couple of window shades wouldn't open. Next time we're in Folly Beach we'll try someplace else.

Nice Home & Close to Everything

We enjoyed our stay at Beachwalk Villas during our family vacation to Folly Beach. The villa was close to the pier/beach accesses, right by Center Street, and within walking distance to anything you may need or want to do during your stay. The hosts were friendly and quick to respond to any of our questions or requests we had during our stay, like parking and extra linens. However, there are a few things that I’d change to turn this villa in to a 5-star place to stay. The living room couch is very uncomfortable and dirty. It had dried stains and food spots stuck to the couch that should’ve been cleaned before hosting. It should definitely be replaced ASAP. The floors were dirty and must not have been mopped before we checked in, as the bottom of our feet were covered in dark dirt once we walked barefoot through the home for the first time. There were pieces of fruit loop cereal left in the floor of one of the rooms, and baby food snacks around the living room couch. One reason we booked the villa was due to it having a full kitchen. We did a lot of cooking during our week-long stay, and there are a few kitchen essentials that should be added to the kitchen, such as a cutting board, cookie sheet, and pizza cutter. Having a washer and dryer was so nice, especially since everything gets sandy at the beach! With the villa being right next to Center St., it does get a little loud in the evening. We didn’t mind, but someone with infants/small children may consider booking elsewhere. All in all, these are minor issues that can be fixed, and we had a wonderful time during our vacation.

Excellent Rental

This property has everything we needed for our beach vacation. The location was best on the island and the check in process was easy. The condo was very nice and well kept. We loved everything about it!

Great Place

I would definitely stay her again. It exceeded my expectations. Close to the beach and dining. Quick responses to any questions. Very friendly management. If couch was replaced I would have given it 5 stars. Would suggest new pillows also.
