GRANDS PRIX! CHALET CHARMANT FRIENDLY COTTAGE LACSIDE

Rockhaven Tennis Cottage est un chalet indépendant unique, charmant et rustique situé sur les rives du lac Champlain, entouré de champs agricoles ouverts.

Les propriétaires, Tom et Catherine, habitent sur place dans la maison principale avec leurs deux épagneuls. Il y a un autre chalet d'une chambre (vue sur l'île) qui est également disponible à la location. Le chalet a une utilisation partagée des beaux jardins et un accès au quai et au lac.

Ceci est un établissement non-fumeur et ne convient pas aux enfants et aux personnes à mobilité réduite car les escaliers menant au quai sont raides. La propriété a wi fi.

Le Cottage Tennis a une chambre double et une salle de douche. Sa cuisine est entièrement équipée et le grand salon dispose d'une télévision. À l'extérieur, la zone de pont peut accueillir deux personnes, une vue magnifique sur le lac et un barbecue.

La ville de South Hero avec ses restaurants est à 4,8 km et Burlington à 25 minutes en voiture.

This is the perfect cozy cabin tucked away on a farm for a tranquil getaway. The sunrises and sunsets over Lake Champlain are majestic. Easy access to and from the area off of Route 2. Catherine is a wonderful host.

The wife and I enjoyed our weekend in cabin. It is small and rustic, but met our needs perfectly. The location is great with very good views of the lake. Catherine is a real sweetheart and was very accommodating.

Quaint cottage with everything you need for a quiet getaway with your spouse. We loved Lake Champlain and the Island of South Hero - great anchor location for hiking, biking, and some of the best breweries in the US (Foam Brewing, The Alchemist, and Hill Farmstead). Catherine was a great host - we will definitely be back

Wonderful stay at a wonderful location

The location of this property is perfect if you enjoy scenic solitude. There were kayaks and bicycles available to use which were great. We brought our dog and the hosts as well as the whole island are very welcoming to dogs. It was a very peaceful and restorative stay

Another year, another lovely stay

This is our third year at this cabin and it doesn't disappoint. Beautiful location and cabin with everything you need. It's not elegant, but it's comfortable, clean and friendly. Will return next fall!!

Relaxing Getaway

This comfortable one bedroom cottage has scenic views, access to beautiful Lake Champlain, and a charming and gracious host. Kayaks, a canoe and a paddle board are steps away from your front porch. The Wi-Fi is strong and the bed is comfortable. The kitchen is well-stocked and the property is dog friendly. Restaurants and stores are a short drive away. Rockhaven checked all of our boxes and we’d definitely stay there again.

By the lake

This was a return visit and the location is as lovely as ever. The hosts are very gracious and as a dog friendly property, it was fun to see their lovely dogs greeting and interacting with guests. The cottage is cute, comfortable, and well-appointed and despite some inclement weather, lots of rain, the short stay was just fine with great time in and by the lake.

What a view!

Loved this cottage. It was perfect for our needs and we were able to bring our dog. Catherine and Tom were so nice and available if needed. Very clean and had everything you would want in the kitchen. There is a deck to watch the sunset and kayaks available. I can’t wait to go back.

Perfect for Two

The cabin is a perfect spot for two people. I like that even though it was a small cabin (plenty big for two though) there are two different doors for entering and exiting, and the porch overlooking the lake is a great spot for sitting. There are several comfortable places to sit and enjoy the view on the property. We appreciated the use of bicycles and canoe on site. The house is located about 1 mile down a gravel road, so it’s also a quiet spot (no street noise). Catherine is a generous host. I would recommend this spot to anyone looking to stay in the area.

Perfection

We stayed in Vermont for a few days prior to running a half marathon in a nearby town. We had 2 dogs traveling with us and they loved the lake! The views are perfect, the hosts are attentive, the cabin was cozy and clean, and the lake was inviting! It was perfect for our little family and we hope to return one day! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

South hero - Kibee road

Property is in a great location on the tip of south hero in lake Champlain. We were unable to use our kayaks at the property as the shore line was a 30 ft drop down a steep stairway. The property is secluded on a 1.5 mile gravel road off of the main highway. The house was in good condition. Wi-Fi very weak.

Lovely little cabin on the lake

Small cabin but with all the amenities needed for two people (and a dog!). Clean, supplied, owners on site for any questions. View is spectacular, with a deck on an overlook and a dock on the lake. Wish we could have stayed longer.

A Special Spot

This cozy, rustic cabin is perched at the end of a point on South Hero Island in Lake Champlain. We biked around the island, ate local farm fare. On the private deck, we did yoga overlooking the sunrise and sipped wine as the sun went down. The hosts are next door,, helpful and delightful.

Peaceful retreat

Cozy cottage with a spectacular view. Classy welcoming gifts and decore. Welcoming hosts for both man and dogs. Spotlessly clean with many helpful kitchen amenities. Endless local farms! It was fun to source so many great home grown goodies, cook them up, eat on the deck as the dogs lumbered in the yard. Our luck, we could see the fire works, for the fourth, from the couch:)

The cabin is very comfortable and quite cozy.

Although the outside temps were quite warm and the cabin does bot have A/C, it was comfortable with fans. The morning sunrises were spectacular. Unfortunately, we did not spend al lot of time at the cabin due to a family wedding. The hosts, Catherine and Tom are very accomodating, and have thought of everything as the cabin has every necessity. Should we ever revisit this area, we would surely stay here again!
