Lakefront Cottage au bout d'une route paisible

Unité unique à la fin de la route qui est facilement accessible avec n'importe quelle voiture, camion ou motocyclette - OU par bateau. Cuisine complète, sécheuse, draps fournis, foyer. Deux chambres et un canapé-lit, 7 couchages. Portes moustiquaires coulissantes vers les patios extérieurs. Bonne natation, fond sablonneux. Poissons du rivage ou du quai. Bateaux et kayaks disponibles moyennant un supplément. Animaux acceptés pour 100 $ par animal. À quelques minutes du lac Supérieur, de la Bete Gris, du mont Bohême et des sentiers de VTT / motoneige. Belle route vers Copper Harbor, à 30 miles de Calumet, à 42 miles de Houghton / Hancock. Internet disponible pour des frais supplémentaires.
J'ai ma charte de pêche basée sur cette propriété, donc mon bateau est gardé ici, et je vais et viens, parfois deux fois par une journée d'été occupée.

The house was spotless, quiet, and well-maintained. Everything worked perfectly, and we especially appreciated having laundry facilities on-site. The views of the lake were stunning, with beautiful sunrises and sunsets right from the property.We enjoyed hiking and exploring the area with my college roommate of 45 years, and the location was perfect for outdoor adventures. It was the ideal setting for a relaxing getaway and reconnecting with old friends. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for peace, comfort, and great scenery!Would definitely stay here again.

We had a great stay. Super private with views from every window. The sand bottom and the super clear water lake were great for swimming and kayaking. Our dog appreciated the big yard.

This was the most private place on the lake with a nice dock, access to Lake Superior was a stones throw away.The cabin was cozy and clean with almost every amenity, definitely would consider staying there again, thank you for sharing your place with us.

Our stay was absolutely amazing! The cottage is adorable and it feels like you are immersed in nature. We were greated by bald eagles and loons. We caught fish from the dock, and enjoyed the peaceful serenity. I really loved that it does not have a t.v. as we read, hiked, and enjoyed each other's company. Brian was fantastic to work with, and answered every question we had. I wish we could've also done a fishing charter with him. It was a great location to start our daily hikes all around the Keeweenaw. We hope to go back!

Beautiful views

This was our second time starting at the keystone! The views from the yard are so stunning! We had a bit of trouble getting the little gas stove lit, but I sent a message asking for help and the property manager had someone stop by and help right away! Everything is clean and cute.

Paddlers Paradise

This property was perfect for us. Located at tip of Sand Point w great spot to easily launch directly into Lake Superior and Lac Labelle. It is secluded and quiet, well equipped, and clean as a whistle. We spent 10 days here sleeping in comfy beds w plenty of room, well equipped kitchen and great shower. Easy access to both Eagle Harbor and Copper Harbor for more paddling, fine dining, and enjoying the fabulous Keweenaw Peninsula, one of the most beautiful places on earth. Seriously! We would definitely rent this VRBO again and highly recommend it even if you dont wish to paddle every day!

Perfect Anniversary Getaway

The cottage is perfectly situated on a point jutting into the quiet, secluded end of the beautiful lake. The interior finishes are modern with many windows to provide a breeze at all times keeping that cottage charm. We took our kayaks out almost every day to enjoy the majesty of the many eagles that soar in to perch on the tall pines along the shoreline. A short paddle through the channel will take you out to Lake Superior and the rugged shore of the Keweenaw Peninsula north and east of the Bete Grise Beach. The wooded shoreline must remain as the early explorers discovered it centuries past. The hosts are friendly and the cottage is a business that runs efficiently and professionally with the warmth of a relative or family friend. All needs of the guests are provided and the kitchen is stocked with the implements required for preparation of all common American foods. There is a charter fishing business operated by the owner from the dock. This may cause apprehension to some but we assure you that operations never intrude on the guest. We are early risers and many days when I knew the Captain was preparing to leave I never heard the boat depart or return. We started one morning determined to wave as they departed but we went inside to refill our coffee cups and returned to find the boat had silently slipped away yet again! This cottage is the perfect location to spend a quiet and romantic retreat but could also provide an unforgettable adventure for a family!

Great location, great times, great amenities.

Terrific location, quiet and relaxing property right on the water. Perfect for a group for fishing or just enjoying the lake. Host was helpful and had great communication. The cabin was clean and had everything our family needed for a great vacation. Definitely looking forward to visiting it again next year

Awesome Lakefront Cottage

Extremely private and quiet within feet of Lac La Belle. Sunset/sunrise views of the lake were amazing! Internet was excellent. Had full size fridge and washer/dryer. No complaints. Was greeted by a Bald Eagle flying 30 feet over my head on arrival. A perfect place to get away from it all in the U.P.

Peaceful, Easy, Comfortable

A wonderful place to observe nature, beautiful sunsets and an easy drive to Copper Harbor and other beautiful sites. The owner Brian is easy to communicate with and always accessable. We had a terrific stay and I highly recommend this sweet and comfortable cabin.

My personality profile says I'm an Eagle. I'm an entrepreneur, dad of many, grandfather, author of the book, "How to Raise a Happy Family " and charter boat captain. I love to fish and love to see others have a good time fishing. Winters are spent snowboarding with kids and cross-country skiing. My wife and I have now retired from the printing business and are turning into snowbirds (leaving for the winter.).

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

My family and my wife’s family has had property on Sand Point Road nearly all our lives, so we spent ALL our growing up summers here. I had my sights on this property long before it came up for sale in 2013 in order to base my charter business from here. It’s one of the nicest properties on beautiful Lac La Belle with deep water close to shore.

Quels sont les atouts de cet hébergement ?

The perfect place to unwind: No TV. A grand view of the lake where you see wildlife: eagles, deer, occasional bear, sparkling water, boats and BOTH the sunrise and sunset. The full moon is spectacular.
