Cozy and comfortable. It was clean upon arrival. We were there for three days visiting the area. While there is no AC, didn't need it with the beautiful weather.

It was clean and nicely located for going to different beaches. Did not have air conditioning as it was originally advertised but luckily it was very cool temps during our stay. Would stay here again. Thank you!

Quaint cottage. Very quiet and clean. No air but the wind coming off the lake was enough to keep it cool. Ample supplies of what was needed for the stay.

Overall, the place was pretty great and I thought about giving it a full 5 stars. The negatives:The bed was pretty uncomfortable and bowed in the middle, but still usable. The bedroom was pretty small with a large bed, so getting out on both sides of the bed is nearly impossible. I was able to push the bed over so I could just sneak out without having to crawl over my wife.The cabin is very close to all of the surrounding properties, so if you want privacy, you have to keep the blinds closed.There is a large rock at the doorstep, which is easy to trip over but fine if you are careful and have good balance.The Positives:The host was very friendly and responsive.The shower was amazing!!! Seriously, one of the best showers I have ever had.The location is great and easy to get to. It is right in the middle between Cooper Harbor and Eagle River. 20 minutes each direction, so it is very centrally located.The price was good.The unit was super clean, and we had everything we needed.Overall: Well worth it, and I would stay there again.

The Hilltop Cottage is perfect for a couples U.P. getaway. It is a short walk to the Eagle Harbor lighthouse and observation platform. Sit and enjoy the passing freighters or a Lake Superior sunset. The host responded quickly to any questions. It was a great home base for exploring the Keweenaw peninsula from Calumet to Copper Harbor.

This little cabin was on a hill with a Lakeview at the bottom of the hill. And if you walk the other way its about a 5 min walk to Lk Superior, where you have a deck to watch the sunset..there is no radio or TV at this place. But we were out sight seeing most of the time. There is a little church and a restaurant within walking distance . The restaurant has so many delicious things to choose from!There are no stores or gas stations in Eagle Harbor about 45 min drive. We loved the peace,beauty, comfort, cleanliness, The owner was very nice and answered whenever we contacted him. I would recommend it to anyone! Make sure you go to the Monks Jampot bakery where they have every kind of Jam, cookies, GIANT Cinnamon rolls, and Jamsens at Copper Harbor, Go to Carmelitas for a Thimbleberry Margarita, Wise Old Man of Isle Royale for the best pasties, and cinnamon rolls with Butter cream Thimbleberry frosting! Go to Lake of the clouds, Brockway Mountain driving trail. The views are breathtaking! I cant say enough about our cabin and the area!

The kitchen and the bathroom get a five star. Had everything we needed. The shower was great. Kitchen was clean, except for the hot pads which I threw into the dirty clothes at the end of the stay. The bedroom, we would give it 3* ..the bed was comfortable the place provided plenty of quilts and bedding, however, a lot of the bedding had stains, were old and the sheets were yellow and old. Same way with the bathroom towels and washcloths, however they were OK. One thing about the bedroom there was no place to put any clothing. It provided a dresser with five drawers, but they were all filled with old bedding. And it was also placed inside the closet area so you could not hang any clothes. Then they also had a reclining chair that was supposed to have been in the living room according to pictures, but for some reason, it was in the bedroom. there was only a very narrow, up against the wall ,Pass to get out on either side of the bed. So no room whatsoever. The living room…I’d give it a two. The futon was old and dingy looking to the point where we just grabbed a couple quilts and threw over top of it. The counter stools, were so filthy. We had to use pillowcases to cover them while we sat on them. The furniture, a small table and a desk? Was very old seriously marked and no tablecloth to cover it. Used a sheet There was no curtain on the front door so we had to use a sheet. And the front screen door would not shut. This place needs some tender, loving care, but a very nice unit
