The Space:

Welcome to your modern DC retreat — a bright and comfortable studio perfectly located in the charming Petworth neighborhood. This space has been thoughtfully designed to offer everything you need for a seamless stay, whether you’re here for work or leisure.



Relax on the king-size bed with soft linens after a day exploring the city. The open-concept kitchen comes fully equipped with a stove, oven, microwave, coffee maker, and dining essentials — perfect for preparing meals or enjoying your morning coffee.



Unwind in the cozy living area featuring a Smart TV, high-speed Wi-Fi, and comfortable seating. The sofa here also converts to a bed to sleep 1 additional guest comfortably. The modern bathroom offers plush towels, shampoo, and essentials for your convenience. A washer and dryer are available inside the unit for long stays.



Guests may reserve access to the backyard and grill area (**please let us know in advance**) — a great spot to relax outdoors.



Located just 0.7 miles from the Metro, you’ll find easy connections throughout the city. There’s also a bus stop right in front of the house that takes you directly to downtown DC. Enjoy nearby restaurants, coffee shops, and local markets just minutes away.

Guest Access:

Guests will have access to the private studio space entirely to themselves. Guests can also reserve the backyard and grill access **but please let us know in advance**. Please note, this is an english basement unit within a larger DC townhome.



The Neighborhood:

The Georgia Ave–Petworth Metro Station (Green and Yellow lines) is just 0.7 miles away, about a 12-minute walk, connecting you directly to downtown DC, the National Mall, and all major attractions.



For even more convenience, bus stops are located right in front of the house, offering quick rides to the Metro and central DC.

Getting Around:

The METRO-rail subway system is about a 12-minute walk away to the nearest station at Georgia Ave-Petworth on the Green Line. This can get you all over the city and beyond. It also connects to Dulles international airport on the Silver Line. Catch the actual train from Union Station hub, for destinations well outside of DC.



The closest Capital bikeshare rack is at 9th & Upshur streets NW, about a 10-minute walk from the apartment.



Popular ride-share apps like Uber and Lyft are widely used throughout the city.



On nearly every corner of the city, you’ll also likely encounter scooters, e-bikes, etc. that you can rent easily by downloading and using the appropriate smartphone apps (Lyme, Bird, Uber, etc)



It's about a 30-minute drive to the Reagan National Airport.



Washington, D.C. is a very walkable and well-connected city, making it easy to explore without a car. The Metro system (subway and buses) links all major neighborhoods and attractions, while bike-share stations, scooters, and rideshare services are widely available.

Other Things to Note:

*Please Note* There is a friendly dog in the side yard. He likes to sleep outside in the warmer months. He does bark occasionally.



But this is a very quiet residential neighborhood, while still convenient to a variety of restaurants and shops that are only about a 10-minute walk away on Upshur street here in Petworth.



Noise Disclaimer:

My neighbor holds band practice on Sundays from 4:00 to 6:00 PM in the basement area directly adjacent to the unit.



New Gate:

We recently replaced the fence gate with a sturdier one, and the installer added a handle with a keypad. The keypad is currently deactivated, so you won’t need to enter any code.
