You have full and total access of the basement during your stay. There is keyless entry to the home; a code will be provided to you after you book with us.

We do not live on site, but are a quick message or phone call away!
Delicious restaurants and local coffee shops are in walking distance! Local transit is also walkable with a bus (ETS) Depot and an LRT station nearby.
Bike trails, playground/park, pool, public library, shopping centres and a sport complex all within either walking distance or a 5min drive!
For those who like to grab last-minute snacks, thereâs a 7-Eleven behind us in the back alley đ
The Ottewell Suite is located across the street from Kings University, walking distance to Anvil Coffee House and a 4min drive to The Capilano Mall!
No Frills grocery store is in walking distance while both Safeway and Walmart are a 4min drive away! The bustling and eclectic shops, pubs, restaurants & bars of Whyte Ave are 3min away!

To ensure a safe, seamless, and high-quality experience, we require all guests to complete the following quick steps after confirming their reservation:
1. Sign our short-term rental agreement
This is a standard document that outlines the terms of your stay, our house rules, and general policies. It protects both parties and helps us maintain the quality of our homes and guest experiences. The rental agreement will be sent automatically after your reservation is confirmed and can be signed digitally in just a few clicks.
2. Complete ID verification
All guests are required to verify their identity through our secure platform with a valid ID and Selfie. This one-time step helps us ensure the safety of our community and property, and only takes a few minutes.
3. Provide a Security Deposit
A refundable $500 CAD security deposit will be collected prior to check-in. This deposit is simply a pre-authorization on a credit card and will be automatically released after check-out (provided there are no damages, missing items, etc.).
* Completion of these steps is required to finalize your booking prior to receiving check-in instructions and entry codes. *
⊠We are an API-connected software host, which means that in accordance with Airbnbâs terms of service, we are permitted to implement âoffline feesâ to collect a security deposit outside of the Airbnb platform. All requirements are clearly communicated and handled securely through our trusted guest portal.
âŠLOST OR FORGOTTEN ITEMSâŠ
Please be advised that we cannot assume responsibility for personal belongings left behind after your stay. We recommend thoroughly checking the property before departing. Items left behind will be stored for 14 days and then either donated or discarded. Coordinating pickup or delivery of forgotten items will incur a fee.
âŠCANCELLATIONSâŠ
We follow our posted cancellation policy, please ensure that you read and understand this policy at the time of booking. If you wish to protect yourself from unexpected last minute cancellations, please consider purchasing your own travel insurance to obtain the level of protection you desire.
⊠Profiles with less than 4 stars cannot use instant booking, and such reservations may be cancelled if the reservation is confirmed through the system. New profiles without reviews will be manually reviewed and may require additional screening before confirmation.
⊠Any violation of the house rules could be grounds for immediate termination and removal from the property without a refund.
⊠Please remember that you`re staying in our home, not a hotel. Please treat the place with respect. If any problems arise, we will do our best to take action ASAP if it is an urgent matter, but there is no on site staff 24/7.
1) Absolutely no smoking of any kind in the suite or on the property. There will be a fine of $250 CAD should there be any signs or evidence of smoke.
2) No parties.
3) Please do not flush tampons, condoms or baby wipes.
4) Extra guests or visitors are not allowed without the hostâs approval.
5) No glitter or confetti.
6) Please keep food and drinks out of the bedroom and office.
7) Please turn off all lights & TV while youâre away and before you Check Out.
8) Please do not turn thermostat past 22C
9) Guests must return The Suite in the same condition as it was rented (minus normal cleaning). A $60/hr cleaning fee will be charged for any extra cleaning.
