The Space:

Tucked among the trees in Blue Ridge’s Aska area, Three Little Cubs Lodge brings family fun and quiet mountain evenings together. Four king suites, each with a private bathroom, give everyone room to unwind. Gather by two gas fireplaces, challenge each other to pool, hand shuffleboard, Pac-Man or Joust, soak in the hot tub, and end the night around the stone-paved fire pit. Covered decks, a screened porch and woodland views make it easy to slow down between adventures.



Getting here

Paved roads lead to the cabin, followed by a short stretch of graded gravel at the driveway. The covered two-car carport and driveway provide parking for up to five vehicles. There are three steps to the main entrance. A 120V, 20-amp porch outlet is available for EV trickle charging; bring your own extension cord and charging equipment.



Main level

The open living area pairs chestnut-toned hardwood floors and knotty-pine ceilings with a floor-to-ceiling river-stone gas fireplace. Settle into the leather sectional or recliner for a movie on the 70-inch smart TV, or enjoy the light through the tall windows.



The kitchen has a French-door refrigerator, electric stove, microwave, cookware, glassware, a crockpot, blender, four-slice toaster and 12-cup drip coffee maker that uses flat-bottom filters. Custom cabinetry and generous counters leave space to prepare meals together. The dining table seats eight, and two more seats are available at the live-edge breakfast bar. Starter dish soap and dishwasher pods are provided.



Two king suites are on this level. Both offer log-frame beds, cabin-style bedding, smart TVs, ceiling fans, storage and private bathrooms with tub/shower combinations. The main suite also opens directly to a screened section of the deck. Turkish bathrobes, towels, takeaway slippers and starter bath essentials add a little spa comfort to each suite.



Main level deck

Step outside to a long, covered deck overlooking the surrounding woods. Rocking chairs invite morning coffee, while a screened porch offers another place to lounge. An outdoor table seats six for meals in the fresh air, and a propane patio heater helps extend deck time on cool evenings. A large six-burner gas grill with a side sear burner is near the carport.



Lower level

The game room is ready for friendly competition with a regulation-size pool table, hand shuffleboard and two vintage arcade games featuring Pac-Man and Joust. A sofa, large TV and second river-stone gas fireplace make this a comfortable spot for movie night, too. Doors open onto the terrace deck. A laundry room has a washer, dryer, utility sink, iron and ironing board.



Two more king suites on the lower level offer privacy for couples or families traveling together. Each has a log-frame king bed, smart TV, ceiling fan, dresser, closet and ensuite bathroom with a tub/shower combination. Bathrobes, towels, slippers and starter bath essentials are provided.

Terrace, hot tub and fire pit



The spacious, partially covered lower deck has an outdoor table for four, Adirondack rockers and chaise lounges. Soak in the five-person hot tub beneath the shelter of the deck, with spa towels provided. The hot tub is professionally drained, sanitized, refilled and balanced before each arrival.

Steps lead to a stone-paved fire pit patio surrounded by trees. Pull up an Adirondack-style chair or rustic log stool, toast marshmallows and share stories under the stars. Please follow the posted fire pit safety guidelines.



Explore the Aska area

The lodge is about five minutes from kayaking, tubing and fishing opportunities around the Toccoa River. Downtown Blue Ridge is approximately 11 miles away, with restaurants, shops, galleries and the scenic railway. Hiking, orchards, wineries, lakes and other mountain outings are within reach. Return to the peaceful woods when the day’s adventures are done.
