If you are looking to unwind, seeking tranquility and a peaceful setting this is your place. The house was warm and inviting surrounded by beautiful flowers, trees, and magnificent views. We loved every minute of our time there.

What a fantastic place! From the moment we got there, the stress just vanished. Drinks watching sunset, dinner outside enjoying all the birds... just perfect. The drive to get to the house is a bit dusty and bumpy but so worth it. The beds were super comfortable and kitchen had everything we needed. We were given detailed instructions for checkin and it made everything super easy. Did i mention how quiet it was? Would definitely stay here again!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this beautiful, spotless, and fully equipped home! The photos don’t begin to capture its charm. Communication from the start was fantastic, clear, friendly...and detailed check-in instructions made everything easy. The location was perfect, just a short drive to the Santa Fe Plaza, yet it felt like a peaceful retreat in another world. I’m already missing my morning coffee on the deck or in the garden, soaking in the fresh, crisp air. Highly recommend!

Absolutely amazing holiday location

Easy access to downtown for exploring Santa Fe. Most importantly a great location for relaxing. The home was perfect for family to enjoy the holidays. The snow was a welcomed addition.

Peaceful elegance

This gorgeous home is tucked back so nicely it provided luscious peace and quiet. Fully equipped for anything you need. The ambiance was elegant yet the furnishings were welcoming and comfortable. A definite pearl for discerning travelers!

Repeat visit for repeat tranquility!

This was our second stay at the lovely Casa Apache! Francis was just as welcoming and easy to communicate with as our first stay, and the house/property were exactly as peaceful as we remembered! Landscapers on the grounds for a few hours one morning was a minor intrusion, but that’s what it take to keep such a gem so beautiful. Thanks for another great visit!

Clean and relaxing!

Great location off the beaten path. We enjoyed our time here and loved the proximity to everything. Only small negative issue is that the coffee machine needs updating. Not a big deal considering all the other amenities. Deer walked on property in the mornings and remnants of other wildlife are nearby, which was nice to see.

Ski Trip

The house was fantastic. Everything and more than we expected. The house had everything we needed for a comfortable stay with our family. We spent the day skiing at Ski Santa Fe then returned to spend the evening at the house. The location was relatively remote and very quiet. This would be a perfect place to stay during the summer and fall to use all of the outside amenities available at the property. Would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a vacation rental near Santa Fe.

Excellent property.

My sister & 2 cousins had a wonderful girls getaway at this lovely property. It was very clean, comfortable big beds and the use of the guest house was a big plus. Close to Santa Fe and less then a hour to Albuquerque. Francis was easy to get in touch with and reply immediately to any questions we had. The only thing that was a little challenging was the mile & half dirt road to get up to the property. But I would highly recommend this property.

Beautiful Home and Conveniently Located

This home was exactly as described and looked even more amazing in person as it did in the photos. It was only 3 of us in the house but could definitely see how there's more than enough space for 6 split between the main house and the casita. Thr beds were soft and the neighborhood quiet which was perfect after a long day spent in and around Santa Fe. This was just the right distance to get away from the hustle of the downtown area while being close enough to just head into town. The host was very communicative before checking in with detailed instructions well ahead of our stay and was sure to make sure we found the property just fine. I would definitely stay here again if I was in the Santa Fe area and was looking for some privacy that you won't get at some of the other rentals listed here.

Outstanding place - New Mexico Vacation 2021

We loved this property. The owner is quick and accurate with communication. The main house and casita were perfect for our group. The courtyard is lovely and the property quiet and secluded. Close to Santa Fe Plaza and Pecos National Monument. Just a perfect location and vacation. A couple things to be aware of, but didn’t impact our vacation at all: the main house AC is a little small for the space, but you really only need it during the day. We were there in July. At night, open the windows and enjoy the cool dry air. The dirt road is long and after a strong rain - muddy. Just be aware that your vehicle will be dirty. The best parts of a vacation are the adventures. Don’t let this property slip away - book it today!

Kitchen was great, interior and outdoor spaces were awesome. The casita was great for us, we had an adult son along and having a separate space made the trip even better. Communication was great with the host, we would absolutely stay at this property again!

Santa Fe Getaway

Stayed in this adobe style lodge, and the pictures don’t do it justice. Awesome property and place to stay while visiting Santa Fe. Close enough for dinners, grocery stores, etc. in Santa Fe while being in very peaceful and serene environment. Owner was great to work with. Highly recommend if staying in Santa Fe!

A wonderful getaway near Santa Fe

We had a very relaxing stay at the property. It is a charming house and casita, in a very private secluded area just outside Santa Fe. The kitchen is well-equipped, the furniture is very comfortable, and the privacy is wonderful. The Owner communicates very well, and will address any concerns you have. We will definitely be coming back to this property sometime in the future.

Nice, peaceful place amongst the trees

We enjoyed our stay here! We chose it for its location since we were looking to get away from it all & have some peace & quiet (and get out of the Phoenix summer heat). This place is that! The property is very pretty w/ mountain flowers & pine trees. The house has nice architecture- tall, vaulted ceilings. It’s a good size; everything is in pretty good shape. The house is well stocked for items you’d need in the kitchen- (no shampoo/conditioner or washcloths in the bathrooms, but had bodywash & laundry soap). This is not a 3 bed/2bath house. It is a 2 bed/1bath house w/ a detached casita that has 1 bed/1bath. The 2nd bed in the main house is literally off the kitchen & has no door (just drapes in the doorway) & no ceiling (like a loft, because of the vaulted roof) - but the primary bedroom is an enclosed room. Fine for us, but for others might be an issue. There was also a refundable pet deposit not disclosed in the listing. We liked the decor of the house & enjoyed the peacefulness of the property. As the listing states, the road in, is rough - about 1.6 miles of washboard dirt road. There was also a neighbor’s dog up the street that was out loose & created a problem w/ getting back to the house when I was out on a walk. Apparently the dog being out is a common occurrence. We would stay at this place again, but if we didn’t, it would only be because of the rough road & the loose dog. Otherwise, it was great & exactly what we were looking for! Friendly host, nice place!

Perfect getaway

Francis was a wonderful host and the property was simply perfect. The location was remote enough to provide tranquility, yet close enough to the Plaza to enjoy shopping and dining. We picked this location as it was good home base for visiting the many nearby State Parks and National Historic sites. The home itself was lovely and very comfortable. The grounds were stunning with views to match. It was a perfect getaway and we would stay here again when visiting Sante Fe.
