Magnifique appartement de jardin de deux chambres très spacieux dans le centre de Londres dans une maison de ville victorienne construite en 1866 à la frontière de Fulham / Kensington / Chelsea. Principales attractions touristiques; Musée d'histoire naturelle, Hyde Park, Buckingham Palace, Chambres du Parlement à seulement quinze à vingt minutes en bus. Récompensé de quatre étoiles par Visit Britain.

Grand salon très spacieux avec portes françaises qui mènent à un joli jardin de 100 pieds. Le salon a une salle à manger pouvant accueillir six personnes. Canapé et fauteuil confortables en cuir. Télévision. Deux chambres doubles - il y a un lit pliant pour une personne supplémentaire. Belle salle de bain avec baignoire / douche. La cuisine a toutes les commodités avec une laveuse / sécheuse. WiFi gratuit et un parking hors rue. Station de métro West Brompton à seulement trois minutes à pied de l'appartement.

Great stay in Earl's Court area

We have stayed many times at Amy’s flat and have always enjoyed our visits.. Great convenient location and the flat is large, clean, secure, with nice amenities and a garden in the back. The owner is always prompt when responding to our messages and has always accommodated our early arrival by allowing us to leave luggage upstairs until the flat is ready. We would happily recommend it to anyone.

Great location for a short trip

We spend a nice trip in Amy's place. The place is lovely, well located and affordable considering the price in London. The only low point could be the noise in the room due to the road and the traffic. But Amy warned us about that, when we made the reservation so it was not a big surprise. For a few days, this is ideal.

Location, location, location

This property is in a great location. Three minute walk to the underground, and a bus stop 10 steps from front door. The apartment space was perfect, with a lovely backyard, kitchen, living room with TV and dining, 2 bedrooms and bathroom. All the comforts of being home. Amy was super sweet and very helpful. Thanks for making our first time in London, one to remember.

Pluses and minuses

Our experience was okay but not great. We had booked the place and received a confirmation (and made reservations for the rest of our trip based on that), and the host then messaged us that the last night we booked was actually not available. She refunded us for that night, but we had to scramble to change our plans and the rest of our reservations. The unit was acceptable, but there were several safety concerns. There was a small step down in the middle of the long hallway, which was not marked and was a falling hazard. The bottom of the tub/shower was very slippery and there was no tub mat available. The locks on the outside doors were ancient. There was a deadbolt on the front door that was only lockable from the outside. The bedrooms are in the front of the unit, and the street is quite noisy at night. The little garden pictured is very cute, but you have to walk through a messy area to get to it. The WiFi was spotty. The beds were comfortable. The sitting room was large. The kitchen was small but had everything we needed for cooking meals. There was a tube station nearby, and a Tesco superstore within walking distance.

The guest made a request to book the apartment which was not a confirmed booking as it was not an "instant book" but a request and was told that the date of departure she wanted was not available as I had guests arriving early that morning. The guest stated that she still definitely wished to book the apartment despite this even though she would have to change her plans a little. This is in her email to me. The guest confirmed the booking with the change in departure dates and so I find it strange that she should complain about this in her review as she still wished to book the apartment despite being told that the date of departure she wanted was not possible. We take security very seriously and all guests are given two keys one which also locks the door from the inside as well as the outside. The locks are from a highly reputable company which has been established for many decades in the UK. Not one guest has had a problem with the locks. The guest could have emailed me regarding locking the door from the inside or even rang the doorbell as we live above the garden apartment. It is absolute nonsense to state that the locks are antiquated.. They are not. As for the small step in the hallway, it is at the bottom of the hallway going to the kitchen and not in the middle as stated by the guest. Not in the history of renting the apartment have I had a complaint about the step and we have had toddlers, the elderly and numerous guests.. The WI FI works perfectly well. No guests have ever had a problem. At the moment we have guests from North Carolina and they stated there is no problem. The Wi Fi is working well. Perhaps the guest's phone or computer was faulty There is no messy area in the garden, just potted plants by the garden door. In fact one guest stated it is a beautiful, well maintained garden. I really don't know what the guest is talking about As for the bedrooms which face the street, there is double glazing and other reviews have not stated high noise levels. There are numerous inaccuracies in what this guest has stated.. If a complaint is valid that is fine., but inaccuracies are not and have not been supported in other reviews.

GREAT APARTMENT / GREAT LOCATION

Went on a girls getaway to London and was very lucky to find this very nice and clean apartment. I was very spacious and had a nice back yard to sit in. The owner lives right upstairs and greeted us upon arrival. The apartment literally had a bus stop right in front of it and the train station was less than a five minute walk. A very lovely pub across the street with great food and also a few other watering holes / restaurants less than a five (5) minute walk. Walking in the other direction was a very nice street with outside vendors with fresh fruit and vegetables and shops. We HIGHLY RECOMMEND staying at this property. You will not be disappointed.

The flat was roomy, clean and comfortable. Amy responded promptly to any communications, and her mother was charming. We found the nearness to public transportation very convenient. As well as places to eat and shop for necessities. Amy promptly mailed a forgotten item to us! I would have no qualms recommending this rental. We had enjoyable stay.

Highly recommended.

Well set out flat with a very useful car parking spot just off the main road. Comfortable furnishings and 2 good sized bedrooms with lots of wardrobe space. The kitchen has no negatives: large fridge-freezer, table and chairs, oven with hob, microwave, toaster, etc. The bathroom is large, with an excellent shower and large (quality) towels. The negatives hardly exist - some noise from the local pubs and traffic, but nothing to moan about. The owner was away, but we were looked after by her lovely mother (Maria). There's a bus depot next door and an Underground station 200 metres away. A few mini-markets nearby but no large supermarket. A reasonable sized Tesco is 400 metres away. For central London this is a great place to stay.

Charming and clean

This is a very charming flat on the lower level. The entire flat was very clean and had everything required for a comfortable stay. The kitchen is well equipped with a gas range. I couldn't figure out how to use the oven but was able to cook everything on the stove. The electric kettle is amazing.. very fast! There is a nice family room with a view of the garden. The beds are comfortable. Would stay here again for sure!

Quiet garden flat in great location

This lower ground flat opening onto a huge garden is very quiet, private, and comfortable, with lots of storage space and the luxury of private off-street parking in West Central London. The location is great, with easy access to West Brompton Overground and Tube station, buses that take you to the West End, and lots of little cafes nearby, as well as the West Brompton Cemetery. High-tech it ain't but the wi-fi was fine. The host lives above the property and was responsive to any problems. The oven is not the greatest and we had an occasional furry houseguest in the form of a mouse (fortunately just one) but on the whole an excellent base in a terrific neighborhood.

Wonderful weekend in London

My sister and I visited London for a four day weekend and loved this flat. Immaculately clean and maintained by the owners. The location was convenient to a train and bus line with great connections to all of London. The neighborhood had good restaurants and coffee houses within walking distance. I highly recommend this flat to people visiting London.
