Very nice cottage, peaceful and relaxing. Very good pet friendly location, very safe, with a good size yard for dogs etc to roam in. Would definitely come back.

Simone and Daniel are fabulous hosts. They have a beautiful property that is very clean, warm and inviting. The spa was perfect addition to wind down in after a long day. They also run an amazing winery tour business that if you get a chance to do you will not be disappointed. Daniel is a very warm and friendly person making everyone feel welcome and right at home. He has a lot of local knowledge of the area and all the wineries throughout the Hunter and hand picks his favourites for the tour. I highly recommend this tour and cottage stay. I will definitely be back.

The house was perfect. We loved our stay thoroughly and the highlight was watching the stars from the jacuzzi. Our dog loved the big garden. We saw too late that we could have booked a massage in-house. What a great idea. Highly recommend for a weekend away from the hussle and bussle.

Great cottage in the Hunter Valley

This cottage was a great place to stay for visiting the Hunter Valley. Comfortable and warm, set in a great rural location surrounded by lovely gardens. Fences secure but probably a little low to let the dog roam without supervision as he is a bit of a jumper. Was a nice place to stay.

This cottage was the pefect getaway for our wedding anniversary. The spa and fireplace was a great setting during winter. Having the place allowing our puppy made this choice even better. Simone and Dan were very helpful and I would recommend Dans wine tour - he knows his wines and we had such a fun group.100% recommend when choosing a place to stay in the Hunter Valley.

Great dog friendly weekend getaway

Very clean cottage with a big backyard for our active little dog to run around. Most cooking equipments are provided. Clear instructions from the owner. We enjoyed our stay.

Beautiful views and outstanding cleanliness

This place is perfect if you’re looking to getaway to relax and enjoy the beautiful views that Maitland has to offer. My girlfriend and I came down to for weekend to celebrate her birthday at hunter valley and we were extremely happy with all the features the property had to offer.

So peaceful. Only suggestion we can make is replace bbq igniter ( small thing but was annoying to light) and shade over spa for summer. Was super hot and got burnt in sun. Otherwise absolutely perfect.

Just Amazing!

Peaceful and serene. Cleanest place we have ever stayed. Beautiful cabin, great decor, full Foxtel,comfy beds and amazing views. Thoroughly we all enjoyed our stay and definetly will be more stayz here What more could you ask for!!

We couldn’t fault this accommodation. The cleanliness was perfect and proof that you can have a very pet friendly house which is immaculate. Plenty of firewood supplied. Great outdoor spa, comfy bed and finally a secure yard for little dogs!

Amazing place to relax yet close to amenities

We loved this place and will definatley be back. Our pet sitter had an emergency and the hosts were more than happy for us to bring our peta along. This was really appreciated otherwise we would have had to cancel. Not sure who.enjoyed it more in the end, us or the dogs. Thank you for a great getaway

We recently stayed at this property and overall had a mixed experience.On the positive side, the home is very clean and well maintained. The views are absolutely beautiful — both the front and back offer stunning, long-distance outlooks that made the stay feel special. The fully fenced yard was a standout — genuinely dog-proof and spacious for both kids and pet. The BBQ was great (with a backup gas bottle) and the multiple outdoor dining spaces made for lovely, weather-friendly meals. Foxtel and internet were also appreciated, though the Wi-Fi was a little slow (understandable for the location).There were, however, a few areas that let the stay down. We used the jacuzzi during our stay, after which some of our group (including a child) developed mild skin irritation. We appreciate sensitivities vary, but wanted to flag this in case water maintenance could be reviewed.The kitchen setup was limited. While there were basics like salt, pepper and spices, there were no pantry staples (e.g. oil, sauces, sugar). Given the remote location and public holidays, this made things difficult. In similar stays, these are usually provided so you don’t need to leave the property.Firepit wood was also limited. Beds and linens weren’t particularly comfortable and the small kitchen had a convection microwave instead of a full oven. We also expected a bottle of wine as mentioned but it wasn’t provided.Overall, we enjoyed it but a few additions could elevate it to a 5 star stay

This was such a lovely spot for a relaxing get away. Lovely grassed lawn that was securely fenced for our greyhound. Lovely, well laid out cottage that was just what we needed. Lovely hosts, responsive when needed but invisible otherwise. Thanks so much for a great stay!

Spotlessly clean! Gorgeous!

We loved our stay, the property was absolutely spotless, lovely views & we loved listening to the birds around the property. The spa was wonderful & the perfect temperature when we arrived, very comfy bed. We would definitely recommend this property! Hope To go back again soon.
