My boyfriend and I enjoyed our stay and loved that we could walk to delicious restaurants the owners recommended. The house was clean, well stocked, and central to our fun in Louisville.
Lovely historic apartment just off Frankfurt Ave. There are many choices for dining, all within walking distance. Also very convenient drive to almost anywhere.
Great stay! Great place with whimsical antique-y decor! Very comfortable and close to many locations! We were able to contact the host and had answers immediately! Would highly recommend!
Quiet, elegant, this well-appointed rental is close by to all the riches of Frankfurt Avenue like the excellent Quills Cafe and Grape Leaf Mediterranean Grille. We really enjoyed our stay here.
Manager was very responsive to questions. Property was clean and worked great for the few days we were in town. Building is old so has some quirks, but it was a nice, quiet neighborhood with easy driving distance to all sorts of Louisville attractions.
This Vrbo is a charming older house in a location thatâs convenient to downtown and west end of Louisville. We stayed in Louisville to attend a wedding at the Mellwood Art Center just 3 minutes away. The neighborhood was quiet with plenty of restaurants and coffee shops nearby. Parking on the street was not a problem.
We absolutely adored our time at this house and in this neighborhood. We were in town for the PGA Championship and I did a little research before we booked. This location delivered exactly what we were looking for. Multiple highly-rated restaurants within walking distance, a coffee shop on the corner and just the nicest group of people and lots of dogs⊠cute. We loved it and canât wait to come back!
Place was clean and in great location. Really lovely coffee spot across the street and close to awesome restaurants. House was super clean and neighborhood was really quiet. Rooms are connected with a door, so not a ton of privacy and one of the beds was not super comfortable, but it was only for a few nights, so that was not a deal breaker. Loved Louisville!
This renovated historic duplex home in one of Louisville's best locations is a real find. Beautiful restoration of a 1900 home with chic vintage vibe with all the modern comforts. Many shops and restaurants are in walking distance and the neighborhood is very friendly. I've visited the city many times and this is a favorite. I'll definitely return
We were very pleased with the apartment and itâs proximity to Frankfort Ave. we were creeped out with the open and used mouthwash, shaving cream and nylon bath wash thing in the shower.
My wife and I went on a quick visit to Louisville KY and this was the perfect place. Easy to find, safe neighborhood, and so convenient. About 10 minutes from the airport, Churchill Downs, Louisville Slugger Museum and the Falls of the Ohio. Mammoth Cave NP and
Lincoln birthplace were about 90 minutes away but in the same direction The apartment was clean and had everything we needed. We were just 2, but the place could accommodate 4 very comfortably. Parking was on the street, but we weren't constantly coming and going and never had a problem parking near the house. We would definitely stay here again
For the amount of money we paid for this rental during derby week I expected more. We could have stayed in a hotel for the same if not less that had fresh towels and soaps daily. Instead we got nasty towels and soap in the bathroom that was almost nil. No dish towels. No closet in the pink bedroom. Wrong code given for check in also.
We arrived and the digital lock wasnât working. Thankfully the host did answer even though it was late. We FaceTime to show what it was doing. We were instructed to try the basement door and in horror, it was left with the key still in the lock and the door was cracked open. There is a realtor key lock box for their cleaner to access the house and they said they either forgot to pull the door shut, lock it, and secure the key, or maybe they left the key out because they were having issues with the lock box. Either way that meant the house was not secured and we had to go up a small staircase to a door that went into one of the bedrooms that only has an interior door lock so you used your fingernail to open it. That left me having to through the house in the dark trying to make sure no one was in it and since the key had been left out, anyone could have made a copy of the key to have access. We had to lock ourselves in the house through the basement door and always had to make sure one of us waited by the front door to make sure it stayed open since the he basement key we had to keep inside the unit. This complex also has an upstairs unit that uses the same exterior front door for access into a foyer. The same door code to the front exterior door lock is the same as the downstairs unit that we stayed in! So that also means the upstairs Unit could have accessed our space! We only stayed 1 night because we felt unsafe, esp with my kid staying. There was also a cigarette smell.
