Private Farmhouse Retreat near camps, wedding venues, ski areas
AVAILABLE FOR BOOKINGS BEGINNING IN JUNE 2026!! Look
We are currently working on some minor renovations for our family home before we are ready to host guests beginning in June 2026. This includes turning two bedrooms (currently used as a den and office) back into bedrooms while we currently reside here. Please note that photos are of our current space, but guests may notice new paint, furnishings and decor prior to arrival as we put the finishing touches on our place. We will update photos as changes occur.
Our home is located just one mile from Keoka Lake and minutes from local wedding venues and summer camps. Our spacious 3-bedroom, 2.5-bath home combines privacy in the country with easy access to lakes, mountains, and charming New England towns.
Whether you’re here for a wedding, camp drop-off, winter ski or snowmobile trip or simply a family-friendly getaway in the Maine woods, you’ll find our farmhouse-style home clean, comfortable, and ready for relaxation.

• Designed for families, couples, or groups of friends looking for a relaxing retreat
Guest Guidelines
We’ve designed our home with comfort, relaxation, and family-friendliness in mind, and we kindly ask that guests treat it with the same care and respect we do. A few important things to know before booking:
• No smoking or vaping anywhere on the property (indoors or outdoors).
• Maximum of 6 guests. Please confirm your group size in your booking request.
• Guests must be 25+ to book (families with children are welcome).
• Our home is in the woods, expect peaceful forest surroundings, starry nights, and the sounds of nature!
• While we love pets, we’re not able to host animals at this time.
• We provide a starter supply of household essentials (toilet paper, paper towels, soaps, etc.). For longer stays, you may wish to bring or purchase additional supplies.
We truly want you to feel at home here whether you’re cozying up on the porch, gathering by the fire pit, or exploring the lakes and mountains nearby. If you have any questions about whether our home is the right fit for your group, please reach out before booking, we’re happy to help! Please take a moment to read through these important details before booking. By confirming your reservation, the primary booking guest agrees to the following and is responsible for ensuring all members of the group follow these guidelines.
**Please note that the garage, basement and two upper floor locked owner's closets are not to be accessed by guests and are not included in the listing.
Guest Age
• The booking guest must be 25 years or older.
• Children under 18 are welcome with their parents but must be supervised at all times while on the property and are not allowed to be left alone at any time.
• For guests traveling with infants/toddlers, please note that we do NOT provide any safety equipment such as outlet covers, cabinet safety latches, door knob covers and safety gates. There is a full staircase in the home which may pose hazards to small children so parents need to be an aware of this when booking our property.
Rental Agreement
• For insurance purposes, the primary guest will be asked to review and e-sign a rental agreement after booking.
• We’ll send this via DocuSign to the email address you provide. Please return it within 48 hours to secure your reservation. (If not returned, we may cancel the booking.)
Parties, Gatherings & Visitors
• Parties and events are not allowed.
• Only registered guests listed on the reservation (maximum of 6 total) are allowed on the property.
• For clarity: a visitor is anyone not listed on the reservation/rental agreement.
Smoking & Vaping
• Our home and property are 100% smoke- and vape-free.
• This includes indoors and outdoors.
• Violations will result in a $750 fee as outlined in our rental agreement.
Pets
• We love animals, but unfortunately, pets are not permitted.
• Bringing an unregistered pet will result in a $500 fee and immediate cancellation of your stay without refund.
Wildlife & Nature
• Our property is nestled in the Maine woods—you may encounter insects or wildlife such as ticks, mosquitoes, ants, bees, mice, or bats.
• We do our best with pest control, but it’s part of the Maine experience! A bug swatter is under the kitchen sink if needed.
Winter Driving
• It is highly recommended that guests staying at our home in the winter months of December through April, utilize either a four wheel drive (4x4) or an all wheel drive (AWD) vehicle as our home is located on steep hill in a rural setting. While our town snow removal drivers are great at taking care of the roads, they may not always be able to clear snow and ice from the roads as quickly as we would like during a storm event. A front wheel drive (FWD) or two wheel drive vehicle will likely experience difficulty and be unable to climb the hill to the home should a snow/ice event occur.
Respecting Our Home
• Please treat the home kindly so that we can continue sharing it with future guests.
• If something breaks or spills, let us know right away—we’re understanding, and our cleaning team will address it thoroughly.
Refunds & Weather
• We cannot issue refunds for weather, natural disasters, or power outages beyond our control.
• A backup generator will provide basic electricity and hot water if needed, though it won’t power high-usage appliances (stove, microwave, hair dryers, etc.).
• If this is a concern, we recommend purchasing travel insurance.
Security Cameras
• For property security, there are two exterior cameras (one on the porch facing the main door, one on the garage facing the driveway).
• They are not continuously monitored and are never placed inside the home.
• Cameras are for theft deterrence and verifying guest compliance only.
