Spacieuse maison confortable de cinq chambres avec une vue imprenable sur le son. Idéal pour une escapade en famille. Vos enfants peuvent passer la journée dans l’océan, dans le bruit ou dans la piscine communautaire.

Nouvelles armoires de cuisine / comptoirs en granit, fraîchement repeintes, nouveaux planchers de bois franc dans toute la maison et moquette dans deux petites chambres à l'étage.

La maison a des baies vitrées qui donnent sur le son, une cuisine entièrement équipée, laveuse et sécheuse, véranda ainsi qu'une grande terrasse donnant sur le bruit, douche extérieure, et beaucoup de lits confortables, comprend des draps et des sièges spacieux dans toute la maison. Embarcadère et atterrissage juste à côté de la maison pour un accès facile à votre pagaie, au lancement de kayaks ou à un WaveRunner.

Amazing views, perfect location

We had such an amazing time during our vacation. The location is perfect with short walk to the beach yet on the water (sound side). Views are amazing and everyone enjoyed being on the dock, fishing, crabbing. Kayaks where available for use as well. Kitchen is very well stocked. The layout of the house really worked for our family and everyone was comfortable. We have been coming to NC/SC beaches for years for our family vacation and this house by far was our favorite. Thank you for letting us stay there!

Beach Time!

We had a wonderful week! The host responded immediately to each question. The house is spacious and set up nicely for families. The only con is that the upstairs bedrooms are all connected and the mattresses upstairs are a bit uncomfortable. The primary bedroom with a king bed is on the first floor and is very comfortable. We enjoyed our week! Highly recommend the property and this host.

Beautiful beach vacation

We had a very nice time. Easy access to the beach after a short walk. The pool area was further than I thought it would be but again a short walk or drive. The house was very nice but I feel it could have been cleaner. Dog hair on couch and floors. Loved the deck and dock area Grandkids enjoyed fishing. The sunsets were amazing. The beach was nice and clean. I would recommend this house for anyone with large family.

Fantastic house & location

What a great house for vacation! Had everything we needed and more. The dock was perfect for the kids to fish & crab and the walk to the beach was so easy and quick. The clubhouse and pool was an added bonus. Though tropical storm Debby brought rain most of the week we still thoroughly enjoyed. We will definitely be back!

Great location

Horse is located perfectly with Sump Sound at the back and the beach 2 blocks away. It was very well appointed, up-to-date appliances, and very clean. We had bicycles and kayaks available to launch into the sound. Host was responsive & kind. We would stay there again!

The Perfect Place for Water Lovers

This house is in such a perfect place. The sound is behind the house with a beautiful deck and dock to fish from, kayak, or just relax. The beach is a block and a half away and an easy walk. We all highly recommend this house and look forward to staying in it again in the future.

Nice layout, very helpful signs on lights and devices on proper use. Nicely equipped with "toys" for use. Having access to dock on sound was a hit with the men and children. Easy access to the beach. Will certainly consider this property depending on the size of our group.

Property location was great! Loved the dock and short walk to the beach! Also loved the fact that there were fishing stuff, kayaks and bikes there for our use. When we arrived the home was not up to par as far as cleanliness. Had to clean before we moved our stuff in for the week. The upstairs was way worse than the downstairs. Actually found a piece of glass in one of the upstairs bedrooms. It was in plain view! Looked like the bedroom floors upstairs had not been vacuumed in a while. The shower upstairs was also nasty and had a lot of hair in the drain. Lots of smudges on the windows. Someone needs to find a new cleaning service! The beds were not very comfortable either especially master bed.

We promptly hired a new cleaning crew. You were the first to bring this to our attention and appreciate that . The master bed mattress is a brand new quality mattress not a mattress in a box . We are sorry it was not to your liking . We did pick one we thought was not to hard not too soft

A Perfect Place

We first visited several years ago and when planning this trip, everyone said, "Could we stay in that place on the sound again?" The house is beautifully appointed and maintained, has a good supply of beach chairs, sand and surf toys for kids, kayaks for exploring the sound, and mornings and evenings overlooking the sound are simply wonderful! Good beach/ocean access. The house is well set-up for family dinners and the kitchen has everything you need. Quibbles: we thought it was time for some new mattresses and pillows. The bikes in the garage were not in great shape, but our crew did not miss having them. We will absolutely come here again -- and again!

Family Vacation

Really enjoyed our stay at this location. The Sound was absolutely beautiful and had view of sound from most of the windows back side of home. I spend a lot of time in the kitchen cooking breakfast for everyone so it was wonderful having that view while I cooked every morning. Our family enjoyed fishing off the dock and spent a lot of our time out there and kayaking. Our only complaint was the bed situation. Needed to have queen bed in the twin bed room for adults and the mattresses on twin beds were not comfortable and the other queen bedroom upstairs the mattress was the same. Other than that everything was perfect and will definitely stay again. One of our most favorite vacations 💕and the owners contacted us as soon as had any questions and were extremely friendly and helpful which was a huge plus💕

Great place for close family

The location is great with the beach access a short 2 block walk away and the dock on the sound is perfect for fishing and crabbing! The pool is a definite drive but there was available parking each time we went and you can also use the clubhouse as a beach access point. The back deck is pretty aged, need to be careful for splinters or raised nail heads but there was an awning that was nice in the afternoon. Lots of random "beach stuff" in the garage downstairs that is in rough condition (sand toys, chairs, bikes, kayaks, wheeled cart) and they have a shower outside in the back and a hose in the front of the house to wash off sand. The main floor is a round layout with big windows to the sound, a half bath and the Master bedroom/bathroom. Upstairs has the other full bathroom and is split into 2 sides where you walk through one bedroom to get to the other. One side is a queen bedroom connected to a bunkbed/queen room, and the other side is a double twin bedroom connected to a bunkbed room. Not much privacy if your family isn't close but it was fine for us. The beds/pillows were ok for comfort but were very squeaky. The kitchen has lots of random items and the pans are in rough condition like most rentals although there were 2 really nice and sharp knives. The AC worked great, along with the washer/dryer and the fridge water/icemaker. The house was tidy but wasn't super clean when we arrived. It is a great spot if you aren't too fussy.

Overall a good week

Initially things were great. Location is good; close to surf city shops and restaurants. We realized the the following morning that the upstairs AC wasn’t working, which unfortunately was a Sunday. A call was placed and message was left because it was a weekend. There was no call back. I ended up calling again on Tuesday (Monday was a holiday) and the lady who answered was apologetic and helpful, however it’s awful to have gone 2 days without AC upstairs, it was 78+ up there and guests couldn’t sleep. The AC was fixed that day thankfully. Just super frustrating that there was no acknowledgement of the issue. On Tuesday we also reported that the dryer wasn’t working properly and advised a local repair man would be reaching out to setup a time to come out. Zero communication from this local person. Called back Wednesday and Thursday regarding this issue and Friday morning the repair man came to fix the issue, the day before we were set to check out. I guess there should be given some grace due to the weekend and holiday, but acknowledgement would have been nice, even if it was to say someone would be out Tuesday. Friday we had a roach crawl across the main living area next to the kitchen. Only one was spotted, but where there’s one there is usually more. The pool was quite the trek for the older adults of the group. It was about a half mile walk from the house to the club house/pool in the portion of the community across the main road which wasn’t a known detail when booking.

good time! We loved having the sound in addition to the beach and pool.

The bedrooms are great for parents and children, but if you have all adults and plan on using all of the bedrooms, some adults will have to walk through a bedroom to get to theirs. It was not a problem for us. We so enjoyed spending the evenings on the dock on the sound. My suggestion would be to bring some extra towels - they had lots of beach towels, but were shy on bath towels. We hope to go back!

Great place with lots to do

Great house for family with young kids/grandkids. Upstairs bedrooms are ok for parents with young kids, have to go through 1 bedroom to get to the second, likewise with other side bedrooms. One bathroom upstairs for 4 bedrooms, but we made it work. Master bedroom downstairs is great but needs new mattress. Overall house is Great! Owners items to use are awesome! Bikes, kayaks, beach toys, chairs, wagon, etc. Crab pods were fun for the kiddos. Good size gas grill to use! Kitchen was fully stocked with most any gadget you would need, including drip and k-cup coffee makers. Laundry area was nice. The beach was a quick walk. Pool was a little too far to walk for young kids, but it was a great change from the beach. Owners actually called to check on us after a strong storm blew through. We would definitely stay again over the next few years, while the grandkids are young.

Tween the Seas

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay on Topsail. We had plenty of room in this house, and enjoyed kayaking and fishing off the dock. The owner was very easy to deal with and we plan to rent "tween the seas" on our next Topsail vacation.

This property has some Karen’s in it. I parked my boat long enough to unpack my other items, wasn’t there 20 minutes got a call from someone saying I needed to move the boat. The windows and doors need a lot of work, there is rot. There are loose boards on the dock. And the water is super shallow “ hard to get boat to the ICW. Had some what I can only assume high school kids about 4 doors down that made noise till late. I will not be staying there anymore

Great views and natural lighting, great kayaking access

We had a good stay and enjoyed the surrounding area, ocean, pool and the kayaking. We loved the views and the natural lighting. My constructive criticism deals with first impressions. The beds had to be made after we arrived and they were of average quality at best. We were perhaps spoiled by another beach house we stayed at three years running. It was 33% less expensive, closer to home, and its beds were top-tier luxury. My wife is serious decorator and she said the place could use some sprucing up. These are not meant as jabs, but as friendly helps. Good times all around.
