I'm so sorry. The painting project was not supposed to be a loud project at least its what we were told. I'll find out more from the building manager.

You were sent an email back on April 25, 2024 which was 1 month prior to arrival about this painting project. This is the email that was sent to us and we sent to the tenants: Attention Apollo Guests, The Apollo has painting/waterproofing work being done in the building. The paint company will begin the paint removal starting under the railings in the walkways. Guests may hear the equipment to remove the paint as is used starting at or around 8:00am. They will also be working on some balconies, but your condo balcony will not be done during your stay. Thanks, MIRP You could have canceled and we would have refunded you your money but you didn't make that choice. We did send you a check for $444 which you did cash on 6/11/24. For the Water Main being replaced and turned off at the Apollo Yes the city was doing the work and we found out the very morning when we got an email from the Building Manager. It is not in our business practices to hang up on clients we dispute this claim. We tried to address the issue by offering another unit that was not on the beach but was in a building that is not having work done and would have solved the noise issue. It is not a lesser unit in my opinion only that it is across from the beach with a private beach entrance. A quiet unit with some compensation was not of interest to you so you chose to stay in the noise. As I explained beach front unit buildings are currently all under maintenance. We gave notice of construction a month prior to arrival these are building projects rental agencies are not part of the process. Once notice is given it is up to the renter to follow up with questions to cancel and get refunded or to move the reservation to another location.
