Haut sur une falaise surplombant le Sound, cette étonnante maison avant Sound a été entièrement rénové avec cuisine gastronomique d'un chef (entièrement équipée), lumineux salon ouvert, vue panoramique sur l'eau de chaque chambre. 3 chambres, 2 salles de bains et une immense terrasse faite pour divertir. Chauffage central et climatisation, niveau inférieur fini. Les étapes privées en bas de la falaise mènent à la plage privée. Petit coin petit-déjeuner construit dans la falaise avec une vue imprenable.
Nouveau barbecue à côté du pont.
Table de billard neuve pour le plaisir de tous dans le sous-sol fini.

House se trouve sur une falaise abrupte et peut être une préoccupation pour les jeunes enfants.

Peaceful staycation

Upon arrival to departure the property, the home was perfect for our family. Excellent place to cook inside outside the views were spectacular. Everything was just really peaceful. It was exactly what we needed. We look forward to coming back.

Incredible Views!

My family and I stayed here for a long weekend. The home is lovely and the views of the Long Island Sound from the back deck are incredible. We had a fantastic time and would definitely stay here again.

View from the proprrty

The house was big enough for each one to be confortabile, and have privacy. I liked the house decor which was minimalist but also warm and clean. The best thing was the ocean view and the sundowns were breathtaking. Just fix the status that lead to the beach

Perfect beach house in Greenport

We've been coming to the area almost every summer for the last 20 years or so, and this is one of the best combination of house/location we've experienced to date. Beautiful location on a bluff overlooking the Sound, walkable to the Greenport town center (30 min), well equipped house with a great kitchen and living spaces, and a host that is very easy to work with.

Amazing House and Location

This is truly a gem of a place. The house is beautiful, exactly as the pictures show and the location is picture perfect. Its a wonderful relaxing peaceful getaway. The property managers were amazing and always helpful and responsive!

Beautiful Setting

My husband and I stayed here with another couple. Layout of the house is perfect with the primary bedroom on one side of the living area and the queen bedroom off the other side. There was also a bunk room and full finished basement which we did not use. The living area/kitchen looks out on LI Sound and opens to a large deck just as the photos depict. It was a weekend trip with not so great weather and it didn't matter at all. The serene, beautiful setting made for a very enjoyable and relaxing time.

Lovely winter stay

A wonderful, cozy property with amazing views! We stayed the month of Feb and thoroughly enjoyed the lovely and snowy vistas. There is nice walking in the area and you can walk into town as well (35 minutes). The homeowner is terrific. We wish we could stay longer!

Another wonderful stay

This is our second summer staying in this home and it was another wonderful stay. The owner was extremely easy to coordinate and communicate with and she was even nice enough to put some of her children’s old toys out for my kids to play with in the basement. The view from this property is truly remarkable and is very centrally located. Would absolutely recommend to anyone, especially young families. We would love to come back next year!

Spectacular and serene stay

A beautiful and understated house, with spectacular views of the Sound. All the necessaries were there, with a well-appointed kitchen, grill, and many areas to relax and take in the views. The owner was responsive and in touch when needed. A+!

Seaside Holiday

Spent a 4 day weekend at the house. Perfect for a family. Spectacular Water views from master bedroom living room and kitchen. 5 min drive into the center of town bustling with shops and restaurants. 5 min to ferry to Shelter island and 20 min via ferry to The south fork and Sag Harbor. Cozy Home, Viking Appliances for the chef in your family. It felt like home away from home. Very relaxing stay.

Perfect vacation for us!

The property is beautiful - set on a bluff above the sound - just as pictured. The location is very quiet, we hardly heard anyone. House is well-appointed and very clean - beds comfortable. Less than 5 min drive to Greenport, and about a 25 minute walk. Even on a summer weekend - although the town was clearly much busier than during the week - there was parking, and we could get a dinner reservation at many places. Several of us used the kayaks- much fun! We did need shore/water shoes on the pebbly beach - but that's to be expected. The owner responded quickly to a couple of questions. WiFi connection was just fine. We really could not have been happier.

Nice Time in Greenport

I was there with my parents and kids and we had a great time. Property has an amazing view of the Long Island Sound from the living room, kitchen and master suite. View is unsurpassed and very peaceful. Place is relatively clean but could be a little cleaner but not dirty by any means. Basement needs cleaning and updating and is unfortunately kind of wasted space. There are additional beds in basement but you wouldn’t want to sleep down there. Beach is rocky but nice. Bring water shoes to make it easier to walk but it’s nice not having to deal with getting sand off. It’s a long flight of stairs to beach but perfectly fine for anyone in decent shape. Little things that would make it even better would be uniform hangers in closets instead of whatever dry cleaning hangers were left, a nicer sound system (I brought my own Sonos knowing they didn’t have one), an Apple TV or something similar to stream with, nicer wine glasses/dishes and bathroom towels. And a pair of scissors for the kitchen. These little improvements would go a long way to make the place even better than it was. But as it is it’s still really great and we would definitely go back and recommend. Master bedroom is phenomenal. Guest bedroom is adequate but not nearly as nice. And the kids bedroom is really nice too. It has bunk beds. About 5 minutes drive from the town of Greenport which is great little town. Especially once weekend traffic is over it’s much quieter. Avoid the tourist trap restaurants as there are many other great gems. Owner was great and answered any and all questions and was really helpful.

Encore Performance -- Nice, but...

This is our second time staying at this home. we stayed for an anniversary a few years ago and returned this year. The home is still really nice, but we got the feeling property now has an absent owner and no property manager. Why? We had a few minor issues that demonstrate no one is sweating the details, especially important at this price point: 1. No one "opened the house" up before we arrived. It was really musty upstairs for the first two days. The basement was truly musty, we just closed the door and never went down there. Hubby did not get to use the pool table. Bummer. That made us wonder the last time the house was occupied or cleaned. We laundered the bed linens the first evening. Febreezed upstairs the next two days to get the musty smell out. Also, the patio furniture cushions were just thrown behind the living room couch. Not even stacked, just thrown willy-nilly. 2. We could not use the TV in the bedroom, because the remote was missing. We we called the owner, he suggested we use the TV in the living room. We could not as it would have disturbed the other couple. 3. There were no recycle bags, so we had to take our garbage with us when we left. Luckily we ate lunch and dinner out every day and our friends live in NYC. It was mostly coffee, tea bags, water bottles and bagel bag. They just threw the bag in the trunk of their car. Don't know what we would have done otherwise. Probably drawn a fine for not properly handling the garbage on Friday. 4. My husband, who has his own landscape architecting business, found the landscaping really needed some TLC. Just another small sign of neglect. Also, we should note that the cable in the living room is truly, truly just basic TV. No cable stations (TNT, HGTV, HBO, sports, etc.). Understandable, but we live where basic cable pretty much means everything except HBO, Showtime, Demand, etc. so we were surprised. Never found the movie collection, but didn't care enough to call the owner. Just be aware if that kind of i-home entertainment really matters to you.

Such a view!

We were blown away by the beauty of this property. Morning coffee on the deck, afternoon reading under the umbrellas, cocktails and dinner watching incredible sunsets, we couldn’t have been happier. The house is clean, well equipped and all on one level, and we really appreciated the AC during the heat wave. We booked the house to enjoy Greenport’s restaurants, shops, oysters, farm stands, wineries and the lavender farm but we’ll go back for the sunsets!

Amazing home in an amazing place

We had such a great weekend. We typically stay in a hotel in Greenport but from now on we will always be renting and I cannot imagine another home could top this one!
