This house is amazing and a fantastic location right on the water with direct access for paddleboarding and Kayaks provided. House is gorgeous and well maintained. Property is stunning. Amazing spot and location for anyone who wants to enjoy this area.
Gorgeous spot and fantastic views. House was spotless and well appointed. Great activities on the property and nearby, but nothing beat watching seabirds land on the water from the deck.
This is the most beautiful and peaceful retreat on a lake Iâve ever stayed at.
The furnishings and style is amazing.
Andrea is always available to speak with. Most accommodating.
The beds are super comfy and kitchen very well stocked.
We will be back ASAP!
Lovely and fun property. Beautiful decor. Very comfortable. Love the deck and wildlife sightings.
Property manager very friendly and accessible for questions.
This home has it all - the view, the peace, the quiet. It was a wonderful place to sit back and relax with friends over warm coffee and nice wine. I will absolutely stay here again.
Andrea's place is truly a dream. It is the perfect quiet spot to disconnect and recharge. We loved being on the water with trees and wildlife. Looking forward to another visit sometime.
A beautiful home with gorgeous views. I love how the house was decorated and how easy everything was from booking to communicating with the owner. The house was very comfortable and inviting!
We had an amazing stay at Andreaâs home! From the incredible view to the resort-like decor, this is exactly the place youâll want to escape to. The outdoor fire pit was also a treat (especially with subzero temperatures).
The location is just a few minutes from East Hampton town and a short drive to Montauk and Sag Harbor.
Andrea was not only reliable and communicative, but she was warm and welcomed us to her home.
Highly recommend!
This is a beautiful property right on an inlet in the Hamptons. It is both near to many activities while also being quiet and private. We spent time in Montauk and Southampton (Cooper's Beach) as well as East Hampton while also enjoying kayaking, hiking, and beach walking right outside our door. Andrea was incredibly responsive before and during our visit. I can't recommend enough both the host and the home!
Itâs a wonderful place. Beautiful views. Great spots for hanging with family and friends, but big enough to be able to get away from them as needed. Kayaking! Paddleboarding! Outdoor shower! Springs is a fantastic neighborhood. Bay beach is great. Host is incredibly welcoming; she clearly loves her home and delights in sharing it.
Absolutely beautiful home inside and out. Plenty of space with luxurious accommodations and thoughtful extras throughout. Everything was immaculate, no issues with the cleaning. Located in a quiet and peaceful setting but still convenient to East Hampton and Sag Harbor. Our host Andrea was always responsive to our messages very quickly. Hope to come back again soon!
Very relaxing and bucolic setting. The decks were great because you could sit outside to enjoy the view, eat outside, wake up to nature. Lots of windows and light. We kayaked on the creek and enjoyed watching the cormorants, ospreys, and oyster seekers. Andrea was easy to reach, accommodating and has nice upgrades like linens and soaps. Great shower in master bedroom.
I donât even know where to begin with describing heaven. The host was amazing and responsive. Everything in the house was perfection . The photos do not do this place justice . Pure joy relaxing energy we stayed 2 nights and we are so sad pulling out of the driveway . We will be back for sure ! Thank you for the perfect getaway!!! We miss it already
Home is perfect combination of stylish and comfortable. The setting is so lovely with a peaceful water view with beautiful birds - heron, osprey, swans. Great deck perfect for outdoor dining. Comfortable beds with very nice linens. Luxury hotel style master bathroom. The kitchen is well stocked and everything is easy to find. We loved going out in the kayaks and on the paddle board. The host is responsive and friendly. We look forward to returning to this beautiful retreat.
From the moment we walked in we were welcomed with the most breath taking views of the water. Beautiful open concept living with a unique but comfy midcentury style. Bedrooms were so inviting with the finest of fabricsdown to the pillows and throws, and the master shower with double shower heads was quite the treat. Love that Andy has kept some of the original character of the home, the half bath was super cute with the vintage blue tile work and sink. But the most memorable part of our stay was enjoying morning coffee on the upper deck and wine and cheese at sunset.
Magical setting. Outdoor decks ( and furniture) are just beautiful, peacefully overlooking the water. Kayaking off the property early morning was worth getting up early for. Despite late nights around the beautiful fire pit. This owner makes you feel the love she has for this house in everything from the quality of towels to the sunflowers left on the table to welcome us. The house is far off the beaten path. But you wonât want to leave!
The house is very pretty and well designed, but some of the small thing may need to be fixed, for example the down stair bathroom door cannot be closed property. However, with the price, it is totally worth. Only less than 30 minutes to Montauk is awesome. The view from the house is incredible. The minute I walked in, it just took my breath away, and I can watch the view for a whole day. Also, the house comes with 2 kayaks, and all of us went for kayaking. We all have a great time in the house, and we will come back definitely!
We spent the July 4 weekend at this amazing property -- there were 6 of us, and there was plenty of room to relax and socialize together, with plenty of quiet-time space. It's a beautiful mid-century house, in a breathtaking location right on the water. It's very comfortably furnished and super stylish, with really nice details (the linens! the hand soap! oh my!). The kitchen is very well supplied, and we made good use of the grill and the sunny deck. The bedroom are downstairs and open onto a lovely, breezy lower deck, with lounge furniture overlooking the water. We took the kayaks out a number of times for some nice gentle paddling on the bay. We also enjoyed meeting the local deer, who came to check in on us a couple times a day. Highly recommended.

No hot water & sensitive septic system
Homeâs nice, views beautiful, company great. Unfortunately very significant issue with the home - no hot water for the entirety of our stay. Plumber determined sole cause was a completely rusted hot water heater and pipes. Showed me video he took. Homeowner at first was apologetic - offering compensation. Once home I received notification that a $5000 claim was made to my renters insurance through VRBO for a new hot water heater. This is obviously being disputed. In addition to that issue, I received a text from the homeowner 3 days prior to our stay stating, âVery old septic System - use minimal toilet paper - very, very important.â What every renter wants to hear!
Four of us just returned from a fabulous week in Spring. The pictures simply do not do justice to the spectacular setting. Huge glass doors/windows in every room showcase the gorgeous water views, and the two decks allow plenty of space for eating and relaxing outside, whether your preference is sun or shade. It all feels very private, and the deer come right up to the deck! The home is elegantly furnished, to the point that some of the items (rugs, glassware, a few older pieces on the deck) seemed fragile, which made us especially careful. That said, it was all quite comfortable and easy to curl up with a good book or to watch the Olympics. We cooked several meals in the amazing kitchen, and enjoyed them on the deck overlooking the water! The bathrooms were modern and the beds were comfortable. We loved the kayaks and paddleboard, and it was helpful to have Andrea's membership for nearby beach access. The neighborhood is very quiet and walkable, and within easy driving distance of some great shops, restaurants and markets.
The only improvement we can think of is a list of instructions for guests, to include things like internet access, house rules, beach access, and departure information. Visitors to the Hamptons should be aware that cell service is spotty. We did have some problems when we first arrived because there were no instructions for the home's internet, and because of poor cell service it took us awhile to contact Andrea. But once we connected with her, she was quick to respond as always, and we quickly discovered that we had everything we needed for a great week.
Andrea is an attentive and gracious host, and we absolutely loved this home. We hope to return again soon!
This This house is very special and has an interesting history. The Husband and Wife that owned it were very unique. The husband was Dr Fraud's Photographer in Vienna when we have 18 and escaped the war the day he snapped the iconic portrait of Dr Fraud in a window. He left all his work with dr fraud who convinced him to GET OUT your work will find you.. 1968 Fraud's daughter found Mr Engleman and delivered his Trunk of work back to him. Come and enjoy the positive energy of this incredible Mid Century home and feel yourself completely unwind. property is unique and tranquil the unhamptons hamptons if you want relaxation this is the house
