Great stay

We met another couple here for the week. Couldn't ask for any better unless, of course, you could control the weather. Quite a chilly week but we made the best of it. Condo was perfect and extremely clean and well kept. If possible, we will be back again and would hope to rent the same unit.

Beautiful and Cozy!

This was our first trip to Sanibel Island and we wanted something close to the beach and comfy for our family of 5. The pool was clean and the carts by the elevator made carrying groceries and bags super easy! I have never stayed at a place with a Lanai and it was Awesome! We ate out there every night listening to the ocean without having to worry about insects... :) Everything was clean and well maintained! I would definitely come back again!

Lovely week, all in all, lovely condo!

The condo is well decorated and comfortable, the bathrooms were a bit small but acceptable. The location and view was great. The lanai was large and overlooked the pool so was pretty noisy at times. The only thing that could have improved our time is providing beach chairs and beach towels and things like salt and pepper. The cupboards were pretty bare but again, acceptable. We would stay there again!

Excellent stay! Highly recommended

We loved it! Clean, remodeled, well equipped, great location and great view! Highly recommended. The storage shed with beach equipment was a huge plus. Just needed our swimsuits, beach towels and sunscreen.

Serenity on Sanibel

Mike and Carol take wonderful care of their property. This is our third stay here and we are enjoying all that it new: carpet, paint, furniture, bedspreads. It looks just like an island condo should look. We love the amenities and the location. Try Sweet Melissa's for a special occasion - a little pricey, but delightful tastes and excellent presentation. Also, all night happy hour on Wednesdays at the Sand Bar right next store. Next year there will almost certainly be 4 nice martini glasses and a shaker. Otherwise it's all here waiting for you.

A piece of heaven!

Wonderful spacious lanai overlooking the pool and the Gulf. Nice new soft carpet, comfy beds and everything you could need in the kitchen down to a cheese grater. Beach stuff like chairs, umbrellas and even small cooler available with the unit. Smaller complex was nice and relaxing. Great shelling beach just outside the door, close to restaurants and Ding Darling wildlife preserve. All this made for a great vacation! We didn’t want to leave. Easy check in/check out and the owner responded quickly to my questions before our arrival. Would definitely come back!

we had a fantastic time, condo had everything you could ask for, closeness to the beach easy access to the main roads and to the beach , we have been to several condo's on islands but both the wife and myself had agreed that this is one we are wanting to come back too..

We stayed in this well equipped condo for two weeks in March. Next year we have reserved for three weeks it was such a relaxing, beautiful vacation. The furnishings are well chosen, the beds comfortable and the kitchen had almost everything one would need for cooking at home. The sunsets are gorgeous from the beach and the lanai perfect for reading or entertaining friends. We were there during a vacation week so the pool area right in front could get a little noisy but a walk down the beach at that time of day or a bike ride to close by Ding Darling Nature Preserve solved the problem. It was all happy noise! One of the best restaurants The Sand Bar was next door, groceries a short distance and everything vwe wanted or needed very accessible by foot or bike. Carol and Mike were easy to deal with and were right on top of any concerns immediately. Our only criticism was of the managing company, Royal Shell. We called and asked for new supplies each week and were told they are only given for one week. Regardless of this one concern we are eagerly waiting for our three weeks next Year!

We have stayed at 124 Sand Pointe for the past three Januarys. The condo is centrally located on Sanibel....easy access to the Lighthouse, Bailey's, Ding Darling and Captiva. The unit is clean, well-equipped and inviting. Eating dinner on the lanai, watching the sunset with a lovely view of the gulf is a highlight for us. Easy access to the beach, shelling and wonderful restaurants nearby make for a wonderful vacation spot...one we look forward to returning to each year. Thank you Carol and Mike.

The condo was amazing. The view is wonderful. Carol was excellent to communicate with. Every detail with her is taken care of, she even made sure if something wasn't quite right to make sure it was. The condo was very neat and clean. Sitting on the balcony was wonderful, peaceful and beautiful. We even walked to Baileys while there. We will definitely be staying here again. Thank you Carol for a wonderful vacation experience..

Wonderful!

My boyfriend and I had a wonderful stay at Carol’s unit in May. The unit was spacious, nicely decorated and well-equipped. Not only was it clean and neat, but the beds were very comfortable. We were pleasantly surprised. Very important to us were the fabulous views from the unit. Although it is situated behind the beachfront condos, it is about as close to beachfront as you can get without paying beachfront prices. After you walk the beach and collect seashells, you can take a swim in a well-cared for pool, then retreat to a quiet and peaceful condo for an afternoon nap! We loved that it was located conveniently to everything - just minutes away from the general store, restaurants, and retail shops on Periwinkle Way. Our communications with Carol Miller and Royal Shell were nothing short of pleasurable. We highly recommend this condo!

Great Week!!!

My wife and I stayed here for the third year and it was just as good as the first time we came and stayed here. We liked the new additions. We enjoy staying here as it is always well kept and has everything for our visit. We especially like staying here because we get the best sunrise and sunset views. Thank you for your hospitality and hopefully we will be back many times.

Prepare to be WOWed. We are frequent Sanibel vacationers and always stay at a gulf front condo setting. We can honestly say this condo and complex exceeds all others we have stayed at---the various photos, condo descriptions and reviews are spot on. Once you arrive, you realize the pride in ownership really shows---it's comfortable and delivers on every level. After all is said, there are three key areas we expect to perfect to us..... Beds - a comfortable bed/mattress with very good linens; Bathrooms - clean, updated and large tiled showers; View - an incredible view of the Gulf and beach on the lanai. It's all here. The condo is very well equipped, modern, and cozy. Other nice and notable amenities include the complex being low density--quiet and convenient, a large functional elevator with carts to carry groceries and belongings, a nice pool, covered parking and a locked storage room with all beach needs included. Also, communication to and from Carol & Royal Shell was perfect. The worst part of staying at this condo.....is knowing you have to leave. If you are considering a stay at a Gulf front condo, look no further.

More than we hoped for

This was our third trip to Sanibel, but the first time staying at Sand Pointe. We had a marvelous vacation! Our condo was beautifully decorated giving us a tropical feel. We loved the location and extra ammenities provided by the owners. Having beach chairs, towels and umbrellas was a real plus. Then there was the screened-in porch. There is nothing more relaxing than watching and hearing the ocean while feeling warm breezes over a cup of coffee or a coctail. Our trip was heaven on Earth. Thank you for sharing your wonderful home.

Great family vacation!

This is our second year staying at Sand Pointe and we had a fabulous time. This condo is really nice, very clean, up-to-date and very well-stocked with everything you could possibly need (including beach towels, hair dryer and everything you could want in the kitchen). It has a great lanai where you can sit and listen to the waves. We would highly recommend this unit to anyone looking for a lovely get-away.

We had a great week in this condo. It was clean, comfortable and had all the extras that made traveling feel like home including a storage locker full of beach chairs and many extras. The views from the lanai were awesome both day and night. And the condo was centrally located to all the shopping and restaurants. We rented bikes and they were delivered directly to the condo for the week which was a bonus. We would definitely recommend this unit to anyone who would love a great relaxing week at the beach. We already booked our week for next year.

Love Sanibel

We have rented this condo for over 4 years. It is a lovely location to the beach and pool. The owners have made our stay absolutely wonderful, they are so accommodating and keep this unit comfortable and very clean with everything you need in the kitchen. The owners have keep the unit updated and lovely we so enjoy our little spot in paradise and hopefully can return twice a year as we have been doing.

RELAXATION AND FUN!

We have been repeaters of this condo for 5 years. It is very comfortable and clean. It's like "coming home" each year. The lanai is large and overlooks the gulf where you can enjoy your meals while listening to the waves or watching the sunset. Personally, I like to go down to the beach at the end of the day to make a toast along with everyone else. The grounds are beautifully manicured and the pool is checked regularly and very clean (I enjoy that it is heated.) The owners have made sure that the condo is equipped with everything you need. We eat most of our meals at the condo so I appreciate the well equipped kitchen. If you want to eat out there are great restaurants within minutes of the condo. They have also provided beach chairs, noodles for the pool, sand buckets and tools for children, beach umbrellas, shell tools, and more in their locked closet in the garage. You can see the amenities offered in their condo summary which makes this place so convenient for everyone including those who fly instead of drive to Sanibel. The owners make updates as needed such as new hurricane doors and windows, new furniture and painting of rooms. Places to go are: the Bailey-Matthews National Shell Museum, Ding Darling's refuge and visitor center, island shopping,a drive to Captiva, Bowman's Beach, Turner's Beach, Sanibel lighthouse, Farmer's Market on Sunday's (get times of operation when you sign in at office). Bikes and other transportation can be easily rented. While staying here you may want to take a day to visit the Edison/Ford home in Ft. Myers, or go to the flea market in Ft. Myers or Bonita. Another great beach is Lover's Key (Johnson's Beach). They also offer kayaking, trails, and manatee watching. We have already made reservations for 4 weeks for Fall, 2015. I wish we lived closer! It truly is a little piece of paradise!

Perfect Condo

We were very pleased with this condo. The water view is important to me and it was great from the lanai as well as from inside. The unit was super clean and well furnished. The beds were comfortable and the complex quiet. The selection and quality of the knives and pans was above average. The complex itself felt tropical with the landscaping plus the pond was nice to watch the turtles sunning themselves and the birds around it. We didn't use the pool but it felt nice and warm. I hope there is availability of this unit for our next trip. Thanks to the owners for doing a great job with the condo.

Great time(s) - Great Condo

This was our second visit to Sanibel Island and to this condo. Like the fact it is close to shopping, etc., yet quiet enough for relaxing. Condo is clean and well maintained. Grocery carts are a welcome addition to help with hauling groceries to the condo. We love it for many reasons and plan on a return visit in 2015! !!!!!!!!

Wonderful unit!
