1940's 2 Bedroom / 1 Bath Bungalow très privé à South Park. Planchers de bois franc étincelants, double vitrage avec de superbes vues de Coronado et du Mexique. Immense cour arrière isolée avec de l'herbe verte et Horse Shoe Pit, aire de barbecue, patio avec chauffage, hamac, foyer et beaucoup d'espace. Cuisine complète avec micro-ondes intégré et lave-vaisselle. Grande table à manger. Super endroit. Garage attaché avec télécommande, beaucoup de stationnement dans l'allée ou sur la rue.

Idéal pour divertir, petits rassemblements ou juste un bon vieux temps en famille.

Relaxing stay

This is a wonderful property to stay at. Isabelle is quick to respond. We were greeted with cookies, drinks, cheese platter, and a personalized message welcoming us. Fresh cut flowers are also around the house. The location was perfect for us to go back and forth to the navel base on Coronado Island to visit our son while he was in port. It was relaxing to hang out in the backyard and play some horseshoes. We will definitely be back.

Great location and place

We selected this place as it was close to Balboa Park and friends. It is a wonderful home with an amazing backyard. The host was wonderful, leaving us welcome treats and the place was super well stocked, making the trip convenient. South Park is a fun neighborhood with character. It is easy to walk to restaurants and businesses, and get around. Balboa park is close by. I had 3 14 year old kids with me and my husband and it was the perfect fit for us. Highly recommend!

Excellent stay!

I stayed in this bungalow for 9 nights and it did not disappoint. Beautiful large backyard with area to hang out and all the kitchen items you could need to prepare food and enjoy the home. Isabelle is instantly responsive, and helped with any questions I had right away. 10/10 would recommend!

The house has everything we needed for our trip. Great location with many grocers and restaurants within walking distance. My kids loved the hammock and you can’t beat San Diego’s beautiful weather. Isabelle was extremely easy to communicate with and available if we needed her. I would definitely stay there again!

Had a great stay. Everything was clean and the place well stocked. Quiet, safe neighborhood. Back yard was the best part, spacious and relaxing, enjoyed the fire pit. Only complaint would be the master bed was very hard, ended up sleeping in the kids beds, lol. But overall, very content.

This house is centrally located and the perfect jumping off point to explore San Diego. A short drive to the Zoo and easy drive to Torrey Pines and La Jolla. The house is well-stocked with anything you could need to prepare meals. The backyard is fantastic.

Home Away From Home

This South Park Bungalow is warm and inviting. During our stay we entertained our family and friends. Our grandchildren (3 yrs, 1 and 7 months) enjoyed the back yard. There were age appropriate toys available for them as well as horse shoes and corn toss for the adults. The kitchen is well equipped and made it easy to prepare family meals. The nearby Food Bowl Market met our grocery needs. The Buona Forchetta Italian restaurant is excellent for a night out. Our Goldendoodle settled into his surroundings and busied himself exploring the back yard and keeping an eye out for the squirrel. The neighborhood is quiet and the people very friendly. It was the perfect choice for visiting San Diego!

Home away from home.

What an awesome stay. The house was beautiful with a nice outdoor back yard patio and it was a plus to take our small dogs. The property sits in a nice neighborhood and not too far from the city, grocery stores and restaurants. We never had any issues. The couple of questions we had, Isabelle replied very quickly. This will be our go to house everytime we visit San Diego.

Absolutely Perfect

Isabelle's place was even better than we expected. I reserved her home based on the positive reviews. We knew that it would meet our needs space wise but it went above and beyond what we imagined. Isabelle was so thoughtful in every aspect of the home. We arrived to fresh baked cookies, a basket of snacks and a bottle of wine. The bedrooms were spacious and we had more than enough room for my husband and I and our 3 daughters. There are bath bombs in the bathroom that unfortunately we didn't get a chance to use. Everything was exceptionally clean. Our favorite part by far is the beautiful backyard. We spend a lot of time back there relaxing. There is corn hole and a giant jenga game, a fire pit, tons of shaded seating and toys for the kids to play with. The neighborhood is safe with lots of people taking strolls and walking dogs and there are tons of places to eat nearby. There are too many good things about this home to be able to list them all. We would definitely stay here again. Thank you Isabelle for your hospitality and lovely time!

Beautiful home with Great Backyard

This is a beautiful home in a great neighborhood. There were five adults and two dogs in my group and we spent most of our time in the backyard. The backyard is awesome with plenty of room for pets and children to run around. There is lots of patio furniture, a grill, firepit and horseshoes. The home is comfortable, clean and equipped with everything you need. The owner even provided coffee, fresh fruit, a basket full of snacks, fresh flowers and freshly baked homemade cookies. Thank you Isabelle! Isabelle is very friendly and quick to respond to our questions. I highly recommend. We will definitely stay again when we return to San Diego.

EXCELLENT HOME AWAY FROM HOME! :)

This little home is a true gem, and if I ever come back to San Diego, I will definitely be staying here again! It comfortably slept way more than advertised. My family and I stayed here for my sons Marine graduation from MCRD San Diego. It was perfect. Only 20 minutes from base, and it had all the amenities you could want in a home. The outdoor space is what makes this home truly special. We did not want to be cooped up in a hotel room all week with active teenagers. This home kept them busy with a pool table, and horseshoe throwing pit, and a lovely yard to run around in. The host - Isabelle - went above and beyond with communicating with us, as well as leaving the home with extra towels, sheets, beautiful fresh flowers, and a basket of snacks for our family. Thank you so much for being so kind and accommodating to our family during a very special time in our life! We will be back! :)

Loved this place!!

This place was perfect for a weekend getaway. One of the first things I noticed was the flower bouquets in the home and backyard, very nice touch! The home was clean and charming....nice hardwood floors, great bathroom, and my bed was so comfortable!! While at the home we spent most of our time in the backyard. It was amazing! The patio area has a nice picnic table along with patio furniture. The yard was a good size with plenty of grass for my dog to play. My dog insists on walks everyday and we found a nice open space/canyon just a couple of blocks from the home which was awesome! The location was great, short drive to Downtown, Balboa Park, and Coronado Island. Definitely would stay again!!!

Fully stocked with everything your family and friends would need. Snacks, coffee, toys, plastic bowls, plates, forks and spoons for children. BBQ grill and horse shoe game in the backyard. Fire pit and hammock. This place is really a wonderful home for anyone visiting San Diego.

Fantastic value!

The location and amenities of this house can't be beat for the price. Our family of five had everything we needed for our week long vacation. Almost all of the attractions and restaurants we visited were within a 15-20 minute drive. The hosts provided extras that made us feel so welcome-treats and snacks, kitchen staples, fresh coffee, laundry detergent, plenty of towels and toiletries...above and beyond many other places we've stayed. The beds were ALL comfortable! Plenty of pillows of various types too! I've never slept better while traveling. Two things to note: Bring your robe and slippers if you're visiting in the winter. The house was a bit chilly and drafty at night (to be expected in an older house). If you're a light sleeper bring earplugs. You can hear the airplanes taking off and landing at the nearby airport. It isn't super loud, out of the five of us it only bothered me. Overall, very happy with our stay. We will definitely be back!

Great Space! Perfect for families or really anyone visiting San Diego!

My family of 7 absolutely loved this bungalow! The backyard was so quiet and inviting with the bbq grill, the horseshoes, cushy patio furniture and large picnic bench. We enjoyed breakfast out there every morning! The inside of the house was cute too- although a bit warm since there's no central air conditioner. There is a standing unit in the living room that helped and a stand alone fan in the master bedroom. Mornings were cool if you opened all the windows to let a breeze through but that didn't help mid-afternoon. The house is well stocked with toiletries for you to use during the stay and the owner even left us some sodas and snacks to enjoy. The kitchen has everything you could need for cooking- even some coffee beans and a grinder! Having access to the washer and dryer was a definite plus. The dining table was large and had two benches so there was plenty of room for everyone. Cable tv, board games, books, toys, and movies are also provided. We loved the space and the decor- way better than cooping up our 5 kids in a hotel room! It was a short 20 minutes to beaches and Sea World. Very convenient to shops as well. The owner even gives you suggestions on nearby restaurants and grocery to enjoy! She was very friendly and prompt with any contact we needed. All in all- we would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Our names are Tom & Isabelle Senk. This was our first home and we got married in the backyard in 1994. We out grew this house, but love the location and privacy that it offers. We have 3 children and live a busy San Diego lifestyle. We live in the area and are able to work close to home as well. We do a lot in the community and have been here since 1988. We enjoy time at the beaches, walking our dogs, hiking, traveling,dancing, and good times with friends and family.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

We decided to use this home as a vacation rental because it was a long term rental for a long time. Our tenant was great but we wanted to upgrade the home and get some time ourselves to enjoy it again. We designed the yard for families with pets like ours, so that they can travel with their pets and the animals don't have to be inside all day. We are animal lovers. Dogs, cats, fish, geckos, turtles,whatever comes our way. We use the home for parties for our kids, celebrations, or just a weekend away from our home. We plan on keeping this home and use the money to continue improvements a couple times a year.

Quels sont les atouts de cet hébergement ?

This home was built in the 1940's and has a very good foundation and was built to last. We love the backyard, but the location was perfect because it is close, but still private. Views of Coronado & Mexico can be seen from the front porch. We plan on adding on to the porch so that we can sit there as we age and enjoy the sunset.
