Stunning View

This was a fantastic location and view for our mountain biking adventure. We stayed for 5 days, and never got tired of sitting on the deck for coffee, happy hour, or just marveling at the moonlight on the lake.

Tahoe Vista Inn recommender

This was our second time staying at a suite offered by Tahoe Vista Inn. This remained an enjoyable experience-the lakeview was gorgeous! We appreciate the help & nice service provided by the property owner and the manager (Sheri), and we will definitely choose to stay at the Tahoe Vista Inn again!

Amazing location steps to lake

Nothing beats the location of this property or the view that it boasts. In spite of very dated decor, the unit was spotless and had all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay. I would definitely stay here again. I wish they would advertise it as a great single person's get away in addition to a romantic couple's one as it appeals to both!

Tahoe Vista Inn

My wife, sister-in-law and I enjoyed a wonderful 3 nights at the Tahoe Vista Inn. We shared a 2 bedroom suite with a super lake view from the living room, and kitchen. Our hostess Sheri was very helpful and friendly from our fist contact in March, while looking for a place to stay in July. The Boat House restaurant has great potential- they had only just opened and we still feeling their way- and the food was very good. We will certainly return for another visit, hopefully in the near future.

Great Place for Some R&R

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This unit had a great view and I would recommended it to anyone. We spent hours on the deck just watching the boats, etc. go by. Also loved that we could just wonder down to the restaurant at any time and have a cocktail on the dock. The unit is very comfortable and spacious but somewhat dated. My only complaint is that there is a very bright light outside the bedroom window which made the room too light for my liking. And bring a hair dryer if you need one because there isn't one in the unit.

Can sit on the deck and enjoy the lake or even sit in the living room and enjoy it! Very clean and cozy! Bed is super comfortable. Fully stocked kitchen! Close to Kings Beach area, stores, beaches and hiking trails! Couldn’t be more happy with the vacation rental company! Very quick with responses and so very kind and friendly! HIGHLY recommend Tahoe Vista Inn & Suites for your Lake Tahoe stay. My one suggestion is some upgrades to the unit would make it sparkle even more.

Absolutely gorgeous views!!

The views are amazing & can be seen from inside kitchen & living /dining rooms too along with on your outside dining table or lounge chairs. The only issue is there is no air-conditioning & with only 2 little windows in the front of the place where the kitchen, dining & living rooms are and 2 windows in the bedroom there is no air circulating & it was hot. They do provide 2 fans but they did not really help also did not help that it was much hotter than norma when we were herel. And the boat rentals are right in front of the unit which can be a bit loud at times. The interior could use a bit of a facelift old furniture in the living room. Overall I would rent again can't beat the views!

Nice enough place that needs refreshed.

My wife and I took a long weekend at Lake Tahoe and found this place. We wanted a place right on the water and this fit the bill without spending a ton. The place is on the upper patio overlooking the water. There's a table with umbrella on the patio that makes a lovely place to have meals. You're right above the boat rentals so and can be a little noisy a in the morning and late afternoon. The place itself is nothing too special. It was clean and mostly comfortable and made for a nice base for visiting. There is a small beach just a 5 mins walk away where you can rent kayaks. A couple things to note. First, the bathroom has been nicely updated but there is no longer a jetted tub. The kitchen needs a refresh next, even just replacing the fridge which is old and loud would be a nice improvement. Also, the burners on the stove are not level. I’m nitpicking here but wanted to be honest. Will consider here if we visit again.

Great location but very dated

Location on the north side of the lake was beautiful and much quieter than other places on different parts of the lake that we saw. Beautiful views from the kitchen and living room as well as sitting outside on the deck. The full bath was recently renovated but the rest of the place was beyond dated. The kitchen appliances had to be 40 years old and the carpet throughout (including the half bath) was so old and dingy. Overall we go for location and the views and location were great, but hopefully the owners will be renovating the entire unit soon, as it is so far overdue.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I needed a place to stay while on a business trip. I called Tahoe Vista desperately trying to find a place before dark. Sherri helped me coordinate the rental and was so patient and accommodating. When I arrived I was completely blown away with the place. It was absolutely perfect. The views were breathtakingly beautiful and the cottage was so clean and warm. Falling asleep and waking up to the Tahoe waves hitting the beach below made my entire trip worthwhile. I cannot wait to stay at Tahoe Vista again!

First time in Tahoe

We had a wonderful vacation. My husband turned 60 on the Fourth of July. We rode the hot air balloon and river rafted for the first time ever. We kayaked with clearly Tahoe and hiked to Eagle Falls at Emerald Bay. My husband siblings visited for his birthday and stayed at a nearby condo, Tahoe Vista Inn had gorgeous lakefront views, great areas to visit with family, nice kitchen, and a comfortable king bed. Our only disappointment was that no fireworks were done at Kings Beach this year, though it was so clear we could see the distant South Tahoe display. We would love to return again.
