Hi, we’re Matt and Cara, the owners of Point & Paddle.

Our journey here started with a love of the coast, hospitality, and creating spaces where people can slow down, reconnect, and feel at home. Matt is a chef by trade, and Cara is passionate about design and community—together we’ve poured our energy into turning this waterfront home into something more than just a vacation rental.

We wanted Point & Paddle to reflect the natural beauty of Alligator Point while still giving you the comforts of a thoughtfully designed home. Every detail was chosen with care—bold wallpaper and cheerful furniture to brighten your mood, luxury mattresses to make sure you sleep deeply, and a fully stocked kitchen so meals become part of the memories.

But what truly makes this place special is its setting. We’re right on Mullet Pond, with a private dock where you can fish, kayak, or watch the sunset ripple across the water. The home borders Bald Point State Park, one of Florida’s best-kept secrets for birding and wildlife. Whether you’re sipping coffee on the screened-in balcony with barrel swivel chairs, relaxing on the Adirondack deck, or curling up in the sunroom with outdoor-style furniture, you’ll always be surrounded by nature’s calm.
