Our stay at this camp was amazing from start to finish. The property was spacious, with plenty of room across the multiple buildings for our group of 7 to spread out. The camp was definitely "camp-like" and old/rustic, but in a way that only added to the lakeside charm, and all the necessary amenities (multiple bathrooms, stove, microwave, etc.) were in place to make the stay comfortable. It was also amazing to be on a relatively secluded point with trails to walk and neighbors visible but not too close. The water access was easy with a sandy beach perfect for the toddler in our group (and our black lab who swam and explored non-stop!). There was plenty of seating down by the water, so that the entire group could hang out together whether in or out of the water. It was easy to launch our kayaks from the beach and the water was deep enough at the end of the dock to tie up the pontoon boat we rented. The point is near a major channel in the lake, and while the boat traffic was busy, it was not intrusive and we had a lot of fun watching and listening to all the boat traffic going by without it having a negative impact on our privacy or ability to safely swim and use the camp waterfront area. The owners were incredibly responsive and made sure we had all the information and supplies needed at check-in. We had one minor issue during our stay and received a return call within minutes and an in-person response within the hour to quickly fix the problem. 10/10 would recommend!
