Gabel Farmhouse offers you a combination of modern Swedish design and American historical elegance. A perfect place for you to work remotely, relax and explore the West Catskills. Nested right in-between Callicoon, Livingston Manor, Cochecton and Narrowsburg and a mere ~100 miles from NYC it's easily accessible for a weekend getaway. It's especially perfect for families with young kids; equipped with a crib, toys & books.

The house is self check-in, but we are minutes away if you need anything at all.

Surrounded by sprawling farmland and palatial views, there are plenty of places to wander and daydream. The location is prime for bicycling, walking or going out for a jog. Behind the farmhouse is a beautifully renovated barn which is currently used as event space. A neighbor is nearby at the edge of the property. A few houses are within walking distance.

Guests have access to the entire home and grounds.

Welcome to Gabel Farmhouse! A fully stocked kitchen, large dining room table, and ultra-cozy living room is complete with a fire place and stunning views across the valley. There is a Primary bedroom on the first floor with an en suite full bathroom. Upstairs has 2 more bedrooms, a baby room completely outfitted, and a private workspace/ sitting area. A small gym area is off of the upstairs primary bedroom and includes a peloton bike and free weights.
Entertainment in-house includes the record player, sound bar, and a great book collection.
Fire up the grill outside and have dinner on the large outdoor dining table, and meander to the fire ring with lawn chairs and charming outdoor lights to light the way.
Not far from Bethel, this could be a great location to stay for the duration of a festival. The barn on Hubbard is right next door, making it a fabulous location to also book for your wedding or as an attendee.
Callicoon is less than 10 minutes away and boasts the best farmers market in the area (and we agree!) Catch a movie in town in the vintage one-room theater, take in the fews and taste the cider at Seminary Hill, or try out the wine Merchants' fabulous tapas. A very walkable town lined with a variety of well-appointed shops, and only minutes away.

You will need a car to get to the neighboring towns. Car services like Uber can be difficult to obtain. If you do need a car service, we always recommend Upstate D-tours.
