The grounds feature lush gardens with hundreds of rosebushes and mature shade trees, multiple covered patios, and outdoor barbecue areas. Kids will love exploring Tonka Toy Land, a unique display of original Tonka trucks. Don’t miss the enchanting stone forest!

Note: The outdoor shower and bathtub are closed during the winter and reopen in May.

Had a great stay here. The place itself was really nice and there was plenty to do around the property, which helped keep our four teenagers busy the whole time. The location was also great—close to downtown, shopping, and sightseeing.One thing that really stood out was how accommodating the host was. We were traveling with a motorhome that was too big to fit on the property, which is totally understandable. The host was more than happy to meet us at a nearby church parking lot, take our stuff over, and drive us to the place. That kind of help isn’t something people normally offer, and it made the whole experience much easier for us.Overall, the host was extremely helpful and willing to assist in any way he could. Definitely a great place to stay and I’d recommend it.

Nice space for a group

Several people meeting in Sante Fe for an art show. We all enjoyed the comfortable space and bar/pool table area. Nice kitchen and dining area and outdoor spaces as well. The other thing we appreciated was the private courtyard for several cars to park in as well.

Very nice group. Had some short term rental experience they passed on to us here at the Rancho de Santa Fe. Was good to get great feedback from a group that knows the ropes.

In a Very Good Way, Such an Interesting Property!

So many positives about this property, spacious, private, & quiet. Very clean & welcoming, we had a birthday girl with us & they left fixings for mimosas, & flowers. This is the best stocked property we have been in, kitchen, paper products, toiletries, towels, multiple coffee makers & coffee, etc. Owner very friendly & responsive to questions. Decor is eclectic & entertaining, with so much to do on the property. The landscaping is sorta magical with something new around every bend in the path, so many gorgeous roses, with many seating places to gather. There are steps within the house to navigate but abundant nightlights to help with that. We thought we might be able to walk downtown but we were happy to have a car for that. This is a great house, well equipped for groups or multiple families. This property was a excellent & fun find!

Odd place. Large, overcrowded with stuff, claustrophobic, uncomfortable worries about breaking or knocking things over. Very long walk over gravel and stairs to front from car. Once inside more stairs up and down. Many games, TVs and other perks in the listing, few in working condition. , House dramatically needs remodel, stuck in the early 80s. AC too loud to have on while at property. AC single visible vent is top ceiling of great room, thus if you can stand the noise and it works (no way to tell from 15 ft below) then air just floats around giant open area without walls. Master bedroom hot with fan that swings and is hung too low. Host with spotty knowledge of property and clearly hast not checked usability of advertised features. No house instructions for a ton of devices and activities in need of them. Dated, old dark in dire need of updating. No enclosure from master bedroom to great room to kitchen so one big open area for sound, light and air. Furniture etc rickety. For this price point everything should be much better. We left to go elsewhere after one night and requested a full refund, denied.
