Bienvenue au château avec vue, vue, et plus de vues du lever au coucher du soleil! Réveillez-vous le matin au lever du soleil sur le lac, prenez une tasse de café sur la véranda ou un petit déjeuner complet avec vue sur la salle à manger. Détendez-vous avec un livre sur le lit de repos avec encore une autre vue. Après une journée de randonnée ou de ski, plongez dans le bain à remous tout en sirotant un verre de vin. Prenez soin de vous avec des huiles essentielles pendant votre séjour. Lors de la réservation, vous recevrez une description détaillée de 10 huiles à choisir. Les détails sont listés dans les Notes dans la section Prix. Pour un confort supplémentaire en été, le ventilateur pour toute la maison Quiet Cool a été installé.

Le château peut accueillir 11 personnes (2870 pieds carrés) avec 5 espaces de couchage et 3 1/2 salles de bains. C'est l'escapade idéale pour les réunions de famille ou les vacances entre amis. Situé sur un double terrain dans une impasse, il offre tranquillité et intimité tout en permettant de se rendre facilement au lac, au village et à la maison Tudor, qui propose des dîners et des divertissements avec une touche d’histoire. L'espace est le rêve d'un artiste avec une immense cuisine avec un plan de travail commercial, une île de boucherie et une île ouverte sur la salle à manger. La salle à manger est assez grande. La table s'étend à 8 pieds. Le salon est parfait pour se détendre avec un livre, regarder la télévision (Smart TV, pas de câble), ou jouer à un jeu au coin du feu.

The Castle was GREAT!

We really enjoyed our month in Lake Arrowhead and staying at the Castle. The location was perfect- close the the lake with a great lake view, but secluded and serene . Our home was clean, well-equipped, recently remodeled and attractive. It was exactly what we needed to relax, reset and rejuvenate! The owners were friendly, accommodating and responsive. My wife and I both commented when we were leaving, that we had gotten exactly what we were looking for from our trip- a much needed sense of peace and calm in our lives. We’ll be back!

The house had everything we needed for cooking and bedding. It was clean and spacious. The listing agent was easy to work with and gave us detailed information for the home. Would stay again for sure

The pictures of this property don’t do the actual view justice!!! The house is amazing. Plenty of room, beautiful views and all that you need for a weekend away. Sitting on the porch each night was so relaxing. The property manager was attentive, checked on us and responsive when needed. Highly recommended!!!

Beautiful and Peaceful

Went up to Lake Arrowhead for a peaceful and relaxing stay in nature. Wanted a place that was a little more refined than a traditional cabin experience. It truly met our expectations. House is lovely, has all the amenities. Have to admit, super spacious overkill and amazing for just the two of us! Incredible view and very quiet! Easy to get to the all the surrounding towns. Our intention was to relax in nature, meditate and rejuvenate. Was perfect for that. It really helps to read ALL the information provide in the email we received prior to arriving as well as the notebook on the kitchen counter. Very well organized. Love that the cabinets have pictures on the inside to know where to put things back. VERY SATISFIED.

Beautiful views, peaceful get away.

If you are looking to relax and destress this is the place for you. Fabulous views out every window. Not far from the village for good food, shopping and entertainment. The 1 hour boat tour was fun and informative. We will be back and already referred the Castle to friends.

Lovely, spacious property!

Beautiful house, very clean, and easy to get in contact with hosts! Bummer the lake is for private use only, but hanging out in the house, making dinner in the gorgeous kitchen, sipping wine on the veranda, and watching movies in the living room made up for it. Great stay. Do wish I had known there was a downstairs tenant before booking but it didn't cause any real problems.

Great mountain getaway!

We needed a nice getaway for my wife’s birthday and we really hit the jackpot with this rental. The views are amazing. The beds were very comfy. It’s clear the bathrooms have been upgraded and there are three, which was great for our family. The kitchen was large, and the views from the dining room table are breathtaking. Peggy manages the place and is awesome. Being that she is from PA, she’s aces in my book. Very friendly and communicative. Some notes- the grill was not clean, so be aware of that when you go to cook on it. Also, the deck is smaller than it looks on pictures, so don’t plan to have your whole family out on it at the same time. It’s a great spot to have your morning coffee though. The oven is small, so be prepared to cook on the stove and do less oven type things. Bring paper towels and garbage bags. Third, the garage will fit a small car or very small SUV. Our Honda Accord was too long. So if you can, take as few cars as possible. Parking is limited. All in all it’s a great spot to hang out for a few days. I absolutely would book again and am already thinking of doing so soon. Thanks for having us.

Great views and very spacious

This house has gorgeous views! From sitting at the dining table enjoying dinner, or relaxing in the master bath, the views are one of a kind. The village is just a couple minute drive so the store is close by. There’s a cute toy store there near the point that the kids loved as well as a shop that sold delicious caramel apples. We would definitely book a stay here again. We stayed in early March this visit and we’re already discussing a visit back during the summer months!

Snowy Pristine views

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would return to this location again. The views were amazing. Due to the massive recent snowfall, the road getting there was a bit treacherous, but luckily we didn't have to leave until the end of the stay. The kids even found a street just behind the house that was closed due to snowfall, so they had their own sledding hill. Overall, we were able to work/distance learn with little disruption due to all the spaces we were able to carve out. My only comments for the homeowner are the supplies were very sparse and the cooking utensils need to be upgraded. We ran out of trash bags and dishwasher detergent as there were only three of each. For a group of 7 who home-cooked every meal, that was not sufficient. Lastly, all the pots and pans were in poor condition, with handles really loose. It was hard to prep and cook. It's a gorgeous kitchen so we were disappointed in that. But, overall, we really loved the space.

Nice and cozy with great views

We decided to take a quick trip up to Lake Arrowhead for a night and enjoyed our stay at this property. The bedrooms were a nice size and the mattresses were comfortable. The bathrooms were clean and water pressure was good. The central heat was excellent and, combined with the fireplace, made the house nice and cozy. The house is laid out so that it feels larger than it actually is and would totally be comfortable for 3 couples, or families with kids. The only critiques I would give is to ensure the microwave is cleaned (it was dirty), and to toss out the half used and open condiments and other foodstuffs that previous guests have left in the kitchen cabinets. I'm assuming that the owner leaves them for convenience, but I really don't think anyone will be using them and it makes the cabinets seem a bit messy. Also, the bathroom rugs were a bit dusty and could probably be replaced with light floor towels like at hotels. The other minor isssues we had were taken care of quickly by the handyman. We couldn't find the garage door remote, but we didn't need it anyway. I'd recommend this property for a quick trip or even for an extended stay.

Awesome Place

The place is stunning and we couldn't have had a better stay. Check in was a breeze and everything was accurately "as listed". View is amazing especially from the master bath tub! Great for kids too.

Perfect Mountain Getaway

We were thrilled with this beautiful property. The house was perfect for 6 girlfriends who wanted to enjoy the company of good friends and gorgeous views. We were so happy to welcome the first snow fall of the season cozied up by the fire or out on the balcony. These San Diego girls were a little worried to shovel the 12 inches on snow, but the property mgrs made sure we had a clear path on the way out. Thank you for a wonderful 10th anniversary trip for these tired moms. We are rested and ready to bring on the busy holiday season.

Cleanliness

We were troubled by the little things that seem to make the place appear dirty. Kitchen: Inside shelves and drawers appeared dirty and stained. Bottom of freezer had some juice in it as well as a shelf in frig had some junk still spilled in it, kitchen table still little dirty as well as the placemats sticking to the table. Rooms: diffusers were dirty, trash can in one bathroom not emptied. Just made us very nervous about things looking dirty. Remote to fan in living room didn’t work. Bench seat out front door broke you cannot sit in. Coffee maker glass pot didn’t fit right had to shimmy a spoon in it to work. Only given two hand towels for all four bathrooms. Had to use a bath towel for hands. We will not leave a bad review. Just thought all those items mentioned to you will help you see eyes of us visitors how we see. Thank you
