Welcome to your weekend haven in picturesque Happy Valley! This contemporary, two-story, three-bedroom, two-and-a-half-bathroom home is perfect for families or friends seeking a delightful weekend escape. Enjoy the myriad of events in Happy Valley while staying in a home with an open floor plan on the first floor, ideal for gathering and spending quality time together. The home comfortably sleeps six people with three bedrooms located on the second floor. Nestled in a serene neighborhood in Boalsburg, this home offers breathtaking views of Mount Nittany. You'll love the convenience of being close to State College, with its charming local restaurants, unique shops, and major events.
Key Features
• Accommodates up to 6 guests comfortably with beds. An additional 4 guests are welcome for a maximum of 10 guests. The additional 4 guests will have to sleep either on the couches or on blow-up mattresses. Sheets, blankets, pillows and two blow-up mattresses are provided.
• The home sits on one-third acre. The backyard is quite private with a cozy walk-out deck and patio. The property connects to a very large open space with expansive views of farm fields and Mount Nittany. It’s a great space to watch the sunset and circle a Solo stove late into the evening. If the weather is inclement, the garage can be used as outdoor space. It is decorated in Penn State colors and is kept tidy.
• Modern kitchen with all appliances and kitchenware. The kitchen is open and connects to a gorgeous sunroom with a dining table and a 270 degree view of Mount Nittany. It also connects to a large living room with piano, TV, and a full suite of Nintendo consoles with 100s of games.
• Two full bathrooms and one half bathroom with standard toiletries, towels, and amenities.
• Other indoor shared spaces include a cozy loft with TV and an office space with desks to check your e-mail or conduct work. A laundry room with washer and dryer are available for use.
• Fully air-conditioned and heated.
• Free parking is available for up to four cars. Two smaller vehicles may park in the garage and two larger vehicles will fit in the driveway.
• We have two cats in our household. We run HEPA-certified air purifiers on each floor of the home and deep-clean the carpet regularly. The cats will come with us when we vacate the home for the weekend.

Conveniently located in Boalsburg, PA, our property is less than 10 minutes from State College and Beaver Stadium with convenient access to US 322. There are countless parks nearby including Rothrock State Forest, Tussey Mountain, and the Pennsylvania Military Museum. Restaurants, shopping, and other venues are just minutes away.

Mindy and I (Cory) have lived in Central Pennsylvania for nearly 11 years. We're both originally from Tennessee. Cory received his PhD in Meteorology from Penn State, and Mindy has a degree in horticulture and has worked in real estate for over a decade. We have fallen in love with Happy Valley for its fascinating weather, rich soils, and abundant outdoor activities including great access to Pennsylvania's many rail trails. We have 4 children, with only 1 left in the nest. Thus, we're very happy to start sharing our Happy Valley home with guests.

Our neighborhood is quiet, secluded and very family friendly. However, it has very quick access to State College, Penn State, and many parks.
