Quick stay in this adorable beach cottage for a family trip to the redwoods. Loves the location with walking distance access to the beach and lighthouse as well as multiple restaurants and coffee house. Neighborhood was very quiet and relaxing. The house had everything we needed! Enjoyed our stay here and would definitely recommend!!
We enjoyed staying in the cute house with our dog versus the impersonal setting of a hotel room. The property was roomy and cozy with all the modern amenities. The location was perfect and the sunny porch was nice to sit on after a full day of hiking in the redwoods. We would stay here again and were very pleased.
We just wrapped up a wonderful family getaway here. The house had everything we neededâfrom fresh towels and toiletries to a fully stocked kitchen that made meal prep a breeze. Our kids couldnât get enough of the game selection and spent hours playing together. The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful, and we loved being just a few minutes from shops, parks, and beaches. The host was super responsive and our check-in went without a hitch. It felt like a home away from home, and we left feeling relaxed and recharged. Highly recommend this spot for any family looking for a comfortable, hassle-free stay!
This was a little get away to the beach and chance to see the redwoods. The cottage was absolutely wonderful! You couldnât ask for a better location and everything we needed was there for us. Very comfortable beds and linens; soft fluffy towels with plenty of hot water in the shower. The cottage was really cute inside and out. We ate out at two of the local restaurants, the Chart Room and a brewery, and both were excellent. Even went to Rumianoâs cheese shop for local milk and delicious cheese! Highly recommend the cottageâŠcheck in was easy and comunicaciĂłn with the host was excellent. Great place to stay and we would go back in a skinny minute to stay again!
The house was super clean when we arrived. It is a perfect location for visiting Jedediah State Park and some of the other parks and ocean spots south of here. I enjoyed walking two blocks to watch sunset over the ocean. The owners were super receptive to a couple of small changes for future visitors (the lighting is dim if you are trying to play games in the evening). A great house if Crescent City is your home base for a few days.
My family of 4 stayed in Crescent City at this Vrbo for 2 nites while we explored the Red Woods. What a wonderful time we had! Gorgeous coast and the majestic red woods were so fabulous! The mud on the Boy Scout trail wore us all out, but we slept so comfortable and felt at home in this clean and cozy home. The location was perfect for accessing grocers and restaurants we needed. We all felt we would stay again in the future! Thank you Kittie for being a wonderful host :)
This clean and cozy home had everything we needed for our visit to the Redwoods and surrounding areas. The neighborhood was quiet, and just two blocks from a coast access point. We would stay here again!
We had a fantastic stay. We had fun exploring the local area, and it was so nice to have a cozy house and we'll equipped kitchen to prepare meals together!
This was a great little home away from home during our vacation. Very comfortable and conveniently located. A great place for a young family to crash at the end of a long day exploring the redwoods and the coast.
This VRBO met and exceeded our expectations. The ocean was visible from the front of the home and a short walking distance. It was well appointed with all we needed. The manager was easy to contact and quick to respond. We would definitely stay there again.
Perfect for us and our small pet! Host went above and beyond for our pet-friendly stay and the house was very clean and hospitable- even leaving us a local gift in the fridge! Great place and will stay here again when visiting.
We moved to the Del Norte area in 1986 and live on a ranch in Big Flat surrounded by wilderness. We raise cattle and sheep on the ranch and several horses. We purchased the coastal house for a rental in town and remodeled the inside with our daughter's help in 2012.
