Des tonnes de marina et de la navigation de plaisance dans ce domaine. Le centre spatial de la NASA est à 14 km et l'île de Galveston à 30 minutes qui propose des maisons historiques à visiter, la plage et les parcs aquatiques ainsi que les jardins Moody et d'excellents restaurants.

Bacliff est une petite ville endormie de 8 000 habitants. Il n'est pas constitué en société sans aucune restriction d'acte ou ordonnance sur le bruit, ce qui signifie que les résidents peuvent avoir des animaux de ferme, des feux d'artifice pop, monter à cheval dans la rue, jouer de la musique, faire des feux de camp, mais aucun n'est autorisé dans ma cour. Vous verrez des entreprises, des remorques plus anciennes à côté de petites maisons agréables. Le bungalow est situé à environ 14 pâtés de maisons de la baie. C'est une communauté pittoresque, ancienne et non conventionnelle qui a beaucoup de caractère et de charme dans le superbe emplacement de la région de Kemah / Galveston.

Enjoyed our stay

We enjoyed our stay. Only one minor problem. The kitchen sink water came out hot after 30 sec or 1 min. Also it would be nice to have a hair dryer. Thanks.

Know what you're getting

I'm not one to leave a negative review but people should know what they're getting. It was not clear when this place was cleaned. There is a musk when you enter. The wood paneling floor was coming up and will scrape your feet as you walk around. There's about half an inch of dust build up on the fans and the couch was covered in a blanket that looked like it had just been slept on.We didn't complain because we just needed a place to sleep and shower. However even that was lacking. A towel hanging in the bathroom was damp and we weren't sure from what. There was no hand soap (had to buy our own) and only half a roll of toilet paper.

I just had a guest in the Bungalow for 3 months and not one complaint and the same person cleaned. My help is fairly new, and she may not of furnished enough toilet and paper for his 2 days stay and hand soap is usually provided. I will tell my help to pick some up. Don't know about the ceiling fans maybe she overlooked them. I know the floors are not bad enough to spend 5000 on replacing them. This guy paid 99.00 a night for a house which is what a hotel would cost in the area. He did email me for 109.00 back and gave a bad review before I could even get back with him and talked to my help. It is hard to tell some people what a free ride and others are hard to please, I deal with it all, but I will talk to my help.

Very disappointed

House smelled we had to burn candles to mask the smell. Window and inside air conditioner were very noisy and didn’t cool real good. Bugs in most rooms and got into our food. Bed slept good, bathroom ok, liked having washer dryer. Not stocked very well. TV hard to operate and we had to go buy batteries for remote before we could get it to work. It’s very drab, brown not inviting at all.

Well, my lord this guest did email about standing water in the dishwasher that was causing a smell, so she ran it through a cycle and said it was fine. As well as batteries needing to be replaced in the remote control, but she never mentioned bugs nor has other guest and if it got into her food I wonder if she left it on the counter which causes roaches. I will relay this to my help and have the house sprayed. I did give her a good review sorry she was so unhappy.

Mrs kent was a doll. The house is right down the road from a pier and a few minutes from Kemah. The house has all your daily household items. Big front and back porch. Will be using this house again

Cute little cottage only 3 easy miles from Kemah. Traffic was never an issue for me. Nice front fenced courtyard to enjoy the weather.

Nice and clean, bed was a little soft at first but got better during the stay. Small shower but it did the job. Well supplied kitchen and the living room was very spaceous.. The outdoor space was good for meals when the weather was nice.. Overall I would come back.

Perfect!!

Although I'm still in the bungalow after a month, I will say it is a great little place. It fills the need for a place to stay, if want to stay out of the hotels. Still have a couple weeks here and would be longer if it wasn't booked up. Sharlene is great and is willing to help you out. She was just a phone call away. If I wasn't buying a house would definitely come back. I will recommend it to others. Thanks for a great stay Sharlene.

The house was absolutely perfect for what we were needing. Three adults and one toddler. The living room was very roomy, even with a full size air mattress on the floor. The amenities were great! There was one problem at the very beginning of the stay that could have made me make a decision to go to a hotel, but once I got Sharlene on the phone she immediately sent a technician out to fix the problem. Great job! The one thing that made me take one star off is the neighbors. EVERY single night until about 230 am, they had their music blaring. Making the walls shake. Now I did not call Sharlene because I felt there was nothing she could do. But other than these few things, it was great! And I'd probably stay again!

I am so glad this guest enjoyed there stay and loved the bungalow. She is right there are no deed restrictions in this small town and I believe the curfew on the music is at least till 10:00-11:00. If she had mentioned it to me that it was that loud after these hours I may have called the police. I am out of town right now but when I get back I think I will show this review my neighbors.

We were in town for 2 sailing regattas so the proximity to TCYC was perfect. House was clean and had plenty of space for our needs. It's always great to have a kitchen and laundry facilities when you are away for 10 days! Thanks for sharing your bungalow with us

Great location!

This place is in a great location for any all activities the area has to offer. It also is close to many restaurants and shopping. Everything you need is right down the road. The bungalow is perfect for a quick getaway or weeklong stay. The front yard is fenced in and has ample seating on the porch and patio. There is a 4 seat table with an umbrella that's great for relaxing out and having a cold beer. The bungalow is cozy and comfortable with T.V. and Wifi. There is also washer and dryer, and the kitchen is fully stocked with all appliances. Sharlene is just a phone call away if you need anything, she is good about calling to check on you. The next door neighbors are super friendly as well.

Just like home

My little family of three had such a great weekend here at the bungalow! The house is well kept, clean and felt like home. The bungalow wasn't overly decorated and stayed nice and cool this humid and hot weekend. The house is conveniently located to stores, restaurants and best of all, the Kemah Boardwalk. My 7 year old loved using the automated lock and said the house was cool because it has a bedroom door that leads to a private porch. The furniture including the bed and couches were super comfortable and we were able to use our Playstation on the new TV. Also the TV was perfect size for the living room, so we could enjoy watching the basketball playoff game. To top it off Sharlene was a great owner. As a VRBO/HomeAway employee, Sharlene provided the exact rental and owner experience that I hope to have with each rental. We really enjoyed it and can't wait to come back.

Wonderful place to stay!

I really found a winner with this property! It had every amenity that I could think of and was charming to boot. The décor is tastefully done providing a cozy and comfortable feel from the moment that I walked in the door. I especially enjoyed the patio. So nice to be able to relax outdoors whether it be in the morning with my coffee or in the evening with a glass of wine. The area is close to a number of places of interest and it was easy to navigate to get where I wanted to go. I would highly recommend this home to anyone looking for a getaway and I will definatly be back!

This little house came on the market a few doors down from the cottage and I told myself I could turn this into a perfect little Bungalow as a vacation rental.
