We enjoyed our stay at this property. It was easy to get everywhere as you are close to the train. More than enough space for our family of 7. Quiet neighbourhood.
Our trip to Tokyo was heightened with our great accommodations at Asakusa East Terrance. Close to well stocked grocery store, mini mart and importantly a three minute walk to the train station. There was plenty of room for our family. A kitchen and laundry room on both floors. A very enjoyable stay.
The property was in a great location with a Family Mart right outside the train station and 4 min walk to the house.
The house was exactly as pictured and the kids enjoyed the playground whenever it was possible.
The ac in the kitchen made a rattling noise when turned on however it wasn't need as the weather was nice a cool.
There was a washing machine but no dryer but there were drying racks and a near by laundromat which was helpful.
Hiro was very responsive and answered questions in a timely basis. We had to extend our stay by a few hours, due to there not being lockers big enough to hold our luggage before our flight, the process was simple and a life saver.
We would definitely book this property again and highly recommend it to anyone looking. It was very comfortable for our party of 8.
Dirty, with roaches and stained furniture/bedding. My group of 10, including myself, travel often and this was the first time we left an accommodation. The unit was not clean as advertised. The futons and bedding had stains that looked like bodily fluids all over them. When we attempted to settle in, baby roaches came out of the furniture as well. After a very long travel day where we were anticipating exploring Tokyo after check in, we had to emergency book a separate accommodation (in the rain with all of our luggage in tow). Weâre thankful the host refunded our stay and hopefully these issues are resolved for the next guests.
We stayed at this location with seven adults and three teenagers. We had ample space with comfortable beds, pillows and bedding for everyone. Upstairs kitchen was well equipped with a variety of dishes and utensils. The location is conveniently located, with a three-minute walk to the Yotsugi (local) station and Family Mart, and several small restaurants. We loved the bakery located around the corner. The neighborhood is quiet and well lit, making for a quiet respite after busy days in Tokyo. Although our kids are older, there is an immaculate public playground adjacent to the property for younger kids.
We fit eight in here without any problems. The house was a great base for us to explore the city for two weeks and is an easy and direct train ride from Haneda airport. The host was very easy to communicate with as well. Would definitely stay again!
We had a very nice stay at Asakusa East House. The house was perfect for our group of 13 friends and family. Rooms, kitchens and baths were comfortable und well equiped. The neighborhood is lovely with a little bakery and a supermarket, a teashop and many restaurants. The communication with the host was nice and perfect. Looking forward to our next stay there!
The property suited our group of 8 adults and one teenager. There are three bedrooms with western style beds and two dining areas with tatami matting where you can set up futons.
we rented the whole property which is otherwise divided into two apartments. There is a kitchen, bathroom and separate toilet and washing machine in each.
closest station is Yotsugi, only a few minutes walk from the accommodation. Local restaurants were welcoming with good food. There is a handy convenience store at the station. All communications with the property manager was by email in Japanese. Google translate was helpful but you still need to read carefully to find all the information.
it is an ideal accommodation for a big family. We were a gathering of four families with eight adults and three children. But each family was able to secure a bedroom and the living dining room was very spacious and comfortable. there are two things to note. It depends on the number of people, but two years old and older are charged as adults and the barbecue time is until 8 oâclock.
The neighbors is very close so donât make a noise on the balcony.
I really wanted to show them the beauty of Japan, and the house was perfect for it.
I stayed there with my friends from the US. I really wanted to show them the beauty of Japan, and the house was perfect for it. The traditional Japanese rooms with tatami mats, and a small Japanese garden made them very much delighted. I liked that there was a park in front of the house. The house was super clean, we could be relaxed in a quiet environment.
Also transport there was very convenient. Good access to the airport and the house itself was close to the station. Moreover, 2 washing machines helped us a lot, and Free Wifi was useful.
When I invite my friends again, Iâll choose this for sure!

The Asakusa East house was an excellent value for our party of 8 (5 adults and 3 children). The floor plan, which includes 2 bedrooms, a bath, a kitchen and a livingroom on each of 2 floors, was perfect to allow for lots of opportunity for socializing, as well as for privacy when desired. The design of the house is modern Japanese and comfortable and it is furnished with modern appliances.
The host was very helpful in providing excellent directions for getting to the house from the train station, as well as in identifying restaurants in the surrounding area. The area in which the house is situated is residential and quiet with a neighborhood small but cute playground right outside of the house.
I think having 18 people in the house, as advertised, would be possible but uncomfortable and it is not for people who want to be in the heart of a bustling area. Negotiating the train system is necessary in order to get to almost any tourist destination. It is, however, very quiet and relaxing.

It was such a treat to find a two-story, stand alone home in Tokyo. It is on a direct line from Haneda airport and only one change from Narita airport with just a 2 minute walk to the house which was easy, even with large suitcases. Each floor is self-contained and there are 5 double beds in all with many options to sleep extras. So clean and well-appointed yet still felt quite traditional as there were slippers, lovely little outdoor gardens and tatami rooms. We'll stay again for sure - beats a hotel hands down!

This house was simply amazing! On top of this house being comfy for our stay, the owner was very tentative in making sure we had everything. Hirotake promptly responded to all of our questions which was reassuring. The size of the house was perfect for our group, and the neighborhood is very quiet and relaxing. Every amenity was provided in this house. The proximity to the train allowed us to travel all around Tokyo in less than an hour! We hope to book this space again on our next visit. Best trip of our lives, which was made possible by the ease of renting this house!
