⚠️ THINGS TO NOTE (PLEASE READ):
▪️ Older Building: Like many buildings in Waikiki, Waikiki Banyan was built in the 1970s. The unit is updated, but common areas may feel a bit dated.
▪️ Maintenance Schedule: Routine building maintenance (plumbing, pest control, etc.) usually occurs Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–5:00 PM. Notices are posted in the elevators and we’ll do our best to inform you as well.
▪️ Plumbing Sensitivity: The pipes are older and may result in occasional slow drains or water shutoffs (usually brief and scheduled).
▪️ Tropical Bugs: Despite professional pest control, occasional sightings (like small roaches) may happen—it’s part of island life in Hawaii.
▪️ Noise: Though located on a high floor, some street or city noise may be heard, especially during busy times.
▪️ Recreation Deck Renovation: The recreation deck and many amenities (hot tubs, BBQ, playground, tennis/pickleball courts, fitness room) are currently closed for a year-long renovation. Only the sauna is available.
If these factors are deal-breakers, we completely understand and recommend booking a newer property. But if you’re looking for great value, unbeatable location, and all the comforts of home—we’d love to host you!

If you plan to rent a car, be sure to book in advance as rental vehicles are in high demand. Major rental companies are conveniently located inside Honolulu International Airport (HNL).

Parking for one car is included with your unit via a parking pass. There are no assigned parking spots. Parking is available on floors 2–5 in any open stall. The parking structure is connected to Tower 1, staffed by an attendant, and the entrance is located off Kuhio Avenue.
Additional parking is available for:
$50 per day for cars
$20 per day for mopeds
If you plan to visit other Hawaiian islands during your stay, keep in mind that transportation options may vary on those islands.

Quiet hours are from 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM. Please be considerate of neighbors during these times.
